Mission #1: The Capture

Lance would basically sit back and watch the show that was in front of him. Checkmate seemed to be handling Grace fairly well, about to break through her shield of ice. Rawhide seemed to be handling with Brianna quite easily right now, making him mad what a mistake she had just made. Protege and JaK were going at it, almost even in skills which Lance expected no more from JaK anyways. Then the last two were Will and Cricket going at it. Will was never really one to get up close in personal like the Cricket was taking to him. The Cricket was going down to strike Will about to knock him out, but Lance would notice that Will wasn't even really paying attention all too much. He must've known he was about to lose and was focused on something else. Lance would quickly use his powers to take the honor of knocking Will out a rock that was not big enough to cause any serious damage, just knock out. The Cricket would land next to Will.

"Aw c'mon bro I had him!"

The Cricket would look back complaining at Lance.

"Shut up and go help Protege!"

Lance would say in a commanding voice as Cricket would look at him, sigh, and then run over to go help Protege with Sage. Lance would then look over towards Checkmate, who was only commanding his bots to use their lasers on her. lance would look quickly at Rawhide who was fine at the moment against Brianna. He would then look back at Checkmate.

"Finish her!"

Lance would yell out towards Checkmate.

"Alright alright, geez, I was just trying to have some fun at least..."

Checkmate would reply as he would then order his Knight robot to shoot its missiles to take down the ice shield that was almost done with.

Back at the war raging on between JaK Sage and Protege, both of the teens weren't giving an inch; however, Sage had the advantage. His healing factor gave him upped everything as far as how long it took him to recover from blows and how much stamina he had. Although, Protege was definitely more practiced at multiple martial arts. Blocking way more of JaK's flurrys, but then again JaK definitively throwing more shots. A switch punch landing in Protege's rib cage and then as he doubled over an uppercut landed right on the button. Backing him up, however, as Sage charged in Protege suddenly took out his retractable staff and nailed JaK in the side of his temple.

This enticed the boy to want to armor up, but he knew with psycho Lance around anything he absorbed could be used against him. As he stumbled backwards he quickly leaped out of the way of Protoge's next staff strike; the pole cracking the concrete as it missed. As JaK leaped out of the way he would land on the upper part of a truck near the window and then while descending threw a kick at Protoge; which the boy ducked and attempted to hit JaK with his staff again, but JaK deflected it his his elbow. Afterwards grabbing onto the pole and pulling his foe close, rising up on his tip toes and hitting him with a high knee. Once again stumbling Protoge just as Will's transmission came in.

"I can do this all day buddy, I've fought guys that make you look like---"

As Will's mental transmission came through he would suddenly get cut off causing JaK some concern for alarm. As well as making him lose focus on the battle for a second.

"PSYCHOSIS!? URGH!!"

As JaK turned to look at his now downed teammate and then turned back around he would receive a superman punch in his face; blood trickling from JaK's nose as a result.

"You have your own problems to worry about."

Then as he rolled with the blow, having been knocked over from the force of the the hit, he dodged Protege's next staff strike again. The pole missing him and instead crushing the hood of the same vehicle JaK had just leaped at him from. Afterwards Sage hopped forward with a flying bicycle kick, but the HIVE team member just backed up rather quickly and threw the staff forward hitting JaK in the face. Sage took the blow in stride though, even as it seemed the pole to his face had broken off the tip of his tooth where it connected, and continued to charge in anyway; landing a left cross into Protoge's face. His opponent answering back with a shuffle sidekick to Sage's abdomen, but then JaK immediately countered with a hard elbow smash. Again stumbling Protoge, but right after he ran in to attempt to capitalize something or someone suddenly landed on top of JaK's shoulder and wrapped his legs around the boy's neck. Then by leaning back at an angle, Cricket effectively hurricarranad the Titan backwards, hard!

"Ya, you were right, hopping is kind of my thing."

His extremely strong legs sending JaK flying as he hit the side of a car window and felt his femur bone crack once he collided with now broken glass. Then as he got back to a knelt position, having to push through the pain with sheer willpower, he was just fast enough to spin out of the way of the cricket's drop kick; which completely dented the side of the vehicle as if another car had it it! The door somewhat breaking off and half-way entering the vehicle.

"Freeze, Stray, re-group around Psychosis. Were getting out classed here---AAAAAAHHH!!!"

Having avoided the Cricket's initial attack, JaK attempted to run back to his teammates after noticing that they needed a little help. Although, as he began to make a tactile retreat suddenly 4 marble like balls rolled right in front of him. By the time he noticed them it was already too late and the explosion occurred! The only thing seen in the area now was a large black cloud enveloping the part where JaK had been running.

As the smoke cleared and Will began to take on Cricket and Protege now, there was a rather large crack in the ground where JaK had been. Upon closer inspection one could see the large hole lead into the sewer, a river of gushing water below...JaK was gone and after that explosion that occurred at the soles of his feet (unarmored) who knew if he was even alive...

Lance would watch as the battles would ensue around him. No more than a few seconds would Will wake up from the attack. lance knew he should've went for the kill instead of toying with him. Eventually simultaneous explosions would go off as one was angled in Grace's direction and the other was angled to where JaK was. Once those explosions would clear, JaK would be gone from site, seeming to have been blown out of his shoes and Grace would also be gone from sight. Lance would then hear Toji joining into the battlefield since he was never really able to make a quiet entrance. Lance would look as he would initially be heading Rawhide's direction, but get hit by a missile from Checkmate's Knight bot. Toji would go and tear up the Pawn bot.

"Hahaha, you think destroying one of my bots stops me from calling in more!"

Checkmate would sat as he pressed the red button on his belt and it would call in another Pawn bot that would arrive in about 30 seconds. Lance would then look over to Rawhide and see that Brianna was okaying the evasive game. Lance would look at this and get tired of this. He would raise up four walls around Brianna that were too high for her to jump up and too far apart to scale up it. Lance would then signal for the other four to go take on Toji. Lance would then look as Will was coming in his direction ready to grab the device on his head. Lance would smile and look Will right in the eyes as he would then raise up a wall right in front of himself, not caring if Will crashed into the wall, but he would also tunnel underground, disappearing from sight behind the wall if Will got passed it.

The Cricket would use his foot that was not caught to step on the ground and stop himself from getting slammed. The Cricket would put his foot on Toji's chest, pushing him back into the arms of Rawhide's bearlike strength holding Toji in a full nelson. Protege would shoot his grappling hooks to wrap around and restrain the hands of Toji. And finally Checkmate would call in another Rook bot to help Rawhide hold Toji down on the ground. The Cricket would step down on Toji's chest holding him down with his super powerful leg strength.

"I give ya credit, for a pipsqueak you're pretty strong."

Rawhide would say as they restrain Toji onto the ground.

Rawhide would see that Toji was about to try and make a move. He would quickly pick the youngster up and throw him into the rubble that Grace had been shot into. Lance would pop up next to the whole group and look at them then nods. He would then clap his hands together causing a dust cloud to form around them. In a few minutes the cloud would clear and the whole group would disappear. The H.I.V.E. would write this one down as a win for them. They were able to take out the more capable leader of the group along with subduing most of the other Titans.
