Titans Together!

Back to where it all began...Well almost. The place where the third Titans Challenge had been sisued. JaK Sage knew Kat wouldn't be able to follow them here because the only ones in Jump City who currently knew about this location were JaK, Jay, & Zack. The original third generation Titans or at least the ones that were left. More so just Sage and Zack knew of it. The spot where the two teams had once met up in a competition to settle their differences in a competition of skills, but ended up getting in a joint battle against the Hollowman instead. The thought of this place made him reminice a bit, back when David, Will & Cheshire were on the team...

"*Sigh* It's been a while, how did it all come down to this?"

As JaK stepped off his hover bike he noticed it was smoking a bit. It was to be expected, that chase was long and winded him a bit as well. The cops had definitely planned on taking them down for a while now it was no random attack or jump the gun type of ordeal. The city had been planning ways to do a sting operation on the teens for a while now proven by how they came with lead bullets for Dan. Could Kat have tipped them off about Dan's weakness? Or did they actually take the time to do exstensive research on Daxamites?

"Come on guys, please tell me you all made it."

JaK was hoping beyond hope that the army hadn't captured any of them. Jenny was with Dan so he was sure she'd be fine, but Grace and Lance were still out there somewhere. He hoped his global page had reached Stone at least he needed to make sure this story wasn't true and with Lance not being around much lately a lot of questions were going through the Titan's mind about the mental status of their leader currently.

"Oh well, nothing to do now, but wait for the others to get here I guess."

While taking a breather in the tree top covered overpass JaK looked upon the grassy area. There were still broken branches and large cracked boulders from his fight with Rain. He wondered what happened to her after all, was she even still alive? It also made him wonder about his relationship with Grace. He never really gets along with female members of his team or the Titans in general. He wondered why, maybe because he just can't let his gaurd down enough to let them fully in. With guys there's really no need for an emotional attachment, but after his mom died Sage just kind of turned off on women. In any case he started to feel Electrified's transition into Backlash might've been his fault. If only he could have just been open with her from the beginning, maybe she wouldn't have lef---Suddenly Sage would hear a rustling of leaves nearby signaling someone was coming. The boy quickly getting into a fighting stance while picking up a rock in his hand in case he needed to armor up.

"Show yourself!"

After flying around for about half an hour the Omnitrix ran out of power and Jen was herself again. It was at this time Captain Daxam would change the position he was holding her, he changed from holding her under her shoulders so that she was on his back with her arms around his neck, this position was always easier when flying with someone. As he was flying through the sky he would hear his communicator go off and it gave the position of where they would all be meeting up. Dan would then grab Jenny's wrist tight and speed up, not wanting to be out in the open for long. As he landed he and Jen had to walk through some bushes to get to where the signal said to meet. As he walked through he would here Jak call out. "Chill out Jak, it's just me and Jenny"

JaK's let out a sigh of relief when from he clearing came the rather large caped figure of Dan Yat and the now petite aisian girl Jenny. Her wrist watch was glowing red, which Sage knew enough about the Omnitrix to know that meant it was recharging. Re-adjusting from his martial arts stance JaK threw away the rock and walked towards his teammates. Not that it would've done him much good against Dan anyway.

"Sorry about that guys, right now I'm smashing heads and asking questions later. Was just in a 30 minute high speed chase and am a little on edge still. Seen Grace around or better yet Lance?"

As JaK Sage spoke he placed his hand on his hips and cracked his neck to show he was still trying to relax, but in all honesty the situation was very tense. For all they knew the army could be tracking the group to this excact location right now.

"No wait, you can't just leave us!"

Jen would yell out as Capt. began to take flight. She had her hands crested over her chest cavity as she spoke and shaky demeanor to show how unnerved she was about the situation. Additionally, she didn't want to be left alone with JaK. Probably for the same reasons as stated earlier. Also, because if they were found out she and Sage would be sitting ducks especially her while the watch re-charged.

"She's got a point Dan, I can't take them all on and protect her if they find us. You gotta stay here...We need to try to figure out how to clear our names."

JaK wasn't in any shape to fight at the moment his wound was getting infected. He couldn't believe Kat had struck him down like that. EVen though he was in some serious pain the teen still didn't show it. He nor Nightmare were ever the types to let people know they were injured or hurt. On the streets of Gotham you could never be perceived as soft or weak at any time.

Jen would say nothing, she was still kinda nerve wracked; meanwhile JaK had a lot to say.

"He's right Grace, we can't take her to Titans Tower (West) and there's no where else we can move that I can think of that they won't be waiting for us. Not to mention if they capture her, they'll try to find our location by getting out of Jen...She's stuck with us for now."

As JaK spoke pain could be seen on his face, his wound needed bandages and it was fully infected now. For most people they'd be having fever's and need stitches or medical attention. Sage on the other hand just had to put up with the injury until it scabbed over and healed within an hour or so, quite annoying actually because the infected area was slowing down the healing process.

"Although I'm usually all for shakin down peeps for information if we do we gotta make sure it's the right ones. That means we cannot fight the army no matter what. There's no upside to it by fighting them we just give them more ammo to use against us. I'm sure right now the JLA doesn't believe that we did this stuff on the news of they would've sent their own guys to come get us, but if we start attacking the officials...Well, I don't think even you want a 3 on 1 brawl with Wonder Woman, Starfire & Captain Marvel himself Dan."

JaK would rub his chin as he spoke methodically about the situation. This side of Sage wasn't seen too often, usually the situation was clear on what they should do and he ccould put up his guard, which usually inquired him just being a brash jerk, but right now things were serious and one wrong chesss move on their part...And this thing could be all over.

"Look first thing's first we gotta find Lance and we gotta clear our names. To do that we need to gather info. I doubt were going to be able to do both before Kat catches up to us again so we need to split up. One team goes for Lance, the other goes after information in Steel City since that's where the crime went down maybe well find some answers there."

It was just an idea, but really JaK was also starting to get really suspicious about Dante's whereabouts during all this. He could've gone on vaca. back home, but it was kinda awkward timing to leave the Titans just before this was all going down don't ya think?

After finishing his statement JaK would grab his side again, it hurt to touch it. Meanwhile, he was waiting for their thoughts or mostly who wanted to go with who on the mission. JaK knowing that Grace had a thing for Lance would most likely want to go find him.

As JaK and Grace spoke on the matter, Jenny continued to sit quietly and listened to their proposals. While doing so she glanced at the weird watch thingy...It was still red, which meant she wasn't able to change into an alien any time soon.

"So, who am I going with?"

Jen was curious, she noticed that Sage looked winded and Grace looked concerned. She never really liked JaK Sage much either and would rather not go with him. She much rather either go with Dan who could protect her if things got too serious or Grace, mainly because she was going to look for Lance and both of them were really nice to her the entire time she'd been at the tower.

After sitting there for a few minutes listening to what everyone had to say Dan decided he should voice his opinions. "Well we all know that Lance didn't do this, hell we've all met shapeshifters before so who's to say this "Lance" wasn't a shapeshifter as well. I don't remember seeing him using any of Lance's powers in that video of him murdering". One of the reasons Dan loved the wisdom of Soloman, it helped him deduce things like this. "But as for going to find Lance or going to Steel City I'm not really bothered what I do or who I go with"
