I Wish These Were Real Comic Chars

I just realized I still had this here, lol. Yeah I think he would make a good NPC. You got a lot of good pics for super powered or like comic book type beings.

Ya, but I do spend time looking for them.

Can I just say; as someone who has an account on deviantArt and have seen this happen on alot of forums, it annoys me to no end when people see something they like on there and just saves the image to post up wherever.
I understand that you do it because you like it, but dA has a copyright feature wich alot of people just ignore, or the artists dont know about.

And furtermore and more importantly; the artist should always be asked before you repost their work, anywhere. It's their work, they have usually worked hard on it, and may not like that it gets randomely posted in other places where they can't control what happens to it.

Disclaimer: I am in no way saying you are not allowed to do this, I'm just asking you to at least ask the one who made it first. I think they, and possibly even me deserve that much.

Ya...Half the time when I take a pic, I take it off Google and it's just linked to DA. It sits on my CPU for months and then I randomly use it whenever I search my art folder for whatever I need atm; for example maybe a witch. In any case I don't even remember half the places I take them from and if I asked permission to use every pic I take because I MIGHT use it for RPs in the future. I'd have asked over 3000 people by now for permission...

So sorry to say, I feel for the artist who don't want their chars being misused, but once you put something on I-Net it's a risk you take and they could always just watermark it.

i dont want to seem rude, but they might not put it up so others could reproduce it elsewhere without their permission first. dA is, and i quote " community of artists and those devoted to art" in my book that means, a place for people to post their work to get comments and critiques to improve their skills.

Meh, usually I respect their wishes not to have their art used if I can help it by looking for another type of fairy, Gipsy, or dragon, etc... or if I do so it's strictly for look a like rather than the actual char itself being rp'd as. In fact the only art I could actually claim to have used quite a bit is "Pocky" aka my avy by Ninjatic, but I always credit him for making it and usually praise how well he draws and colors to others on forum.

I get what you mean as a fellow artist. (I found this on photobucket where the pictures are meant for this type of thing. And came up with a random name for it.)

Kjmarch draws almost every Ben 10 alien concept or pic I've used on this site. Awesome Deviant, can't wait for him to draw more.
