| "Kat still has a free will. All reprogrammed humans will still retain their power of choice. They will simply be choices made with the best possible tools at their disposal. It is clear to me that because of your rash thinking, you don't have a free will to begin with, Will."
This argument had escalated too far. Point One would tap into his power. Inside the Grid, he controlled the very cosmos. With a mere thought, he commanded the air in which Will was standing to randomize into chaos. With no order inside the chaos, Will would be destroyed by a plane of non-existance. |

| Shadow left Point One, Kat and Will to it; her comrade had restored some sense into her, and she now walked towards Evan, trying the diplomatic approach. If he decided to fight her, she was done for. She couldn't read his mind, she hadn't been reprogrammed; she didn't feel inferior, but she knew her emotions would only hinder her in a fight.
'Listen, Evan. Our flaws make us who we are. You can't make anyone perfect. We do the best we can to keep the people safe, but you can't take away the world's emotions. There will still be fighting. Look at Will and Kat and Point One. They're no less inclined to fight; they only lack compassion. By trying to save the world, you'll make it worse. Please, give our friends their flaws back.'
Shadow looked at her friend desperately, hoping he would understand. They couldn't win against Point One like this; Electrified gone to the other side, Psychosis with no emotion, one the Grid's most powerful beings broken and the other hell-bent on making the entire world 'perfect'. |

| Evan looked up at Shadow. He had to try to make her understand. "Will was not fully perfected. He stopped the process early." Perhaps such technical things were not worth explaining. Evan decided to not even try to talk about the 'higher emotions.'
"How many lives are your emotions worth, Shadow?" Would you kill 10 people to save your anger? Would you kill 100 to save your depression? Would you kill a million to save feelings of worthlesness? No, perhaps I am being unfair. Would you kill 7 billion people to save your own personal happiness?
This is the choice, Shadow. Humanity's flaws will tear the world apart, and very soon. So then, I ask you this yes or no question: will you kill the world to save human flaws?" |

| The sound of thunder booms through the grid, shaking the room when a black box covers Will completely. The sound of a terrible storm comes from inside box, loud enough to force Kat and Shadow to cover their ears. The noise begins to die down as the box disperses into smoke, slowly moving away from it's prisoner, revealing Will to be perfectly fine.
P. One, there's no use in trying to kill me. All efforts you attempt at taking me out will only end in failure. Now listen to me or become a whipping boy. |

| “My allegiance lies with my own jurisdiction. I didn’t choose to become perfect for anyone—not you, the Titans, or all of humanity—but myself.” She turned to Evan and Shadow, her red eyes fast on the humming floor. She was perfect, but she was empty. What once was the feeling of guilt and anger had been deleted, and although negative emotions, deep within her circuitry Electrified wanted nothing more than to let them fill her up. Only a reciting of her motives could be processed:
“My mother was captured for my father’s technology when I was six, and at age fourteen I found where she was being kept and more importantly that she was alive. I fought for her freedom; it cost me my arm.” She paused to feel her fully restored arm of flesh and bone, “And finally succeeded. I freed her, but only by failing to save her and letting a guard murder her in front of my eyes. My mother was freed from human earthly presence and went on to whatever lies beyond it. My emotions had her killed. One life for hundreds of uncontrollable emotions. Model eleven is 100% correct, even though he isn’t perfect.
Suddenly Katarzyna’s brain came to an abrupt stop, then began scrambling as it computed what she had just said. Correct but imperfect and computed with no experience in emotions. I agreed as well, but I am prefect. Would I have thought the same with emotions with the feeling and knowledge from my own experiences? No matter the answer, human emotions lead to destruction...but without emotions, we couldn’t really decide or reason for ourselves. Thought outweighs logic. Logic is programmed and tailored for one individual yet distributed to everyone.
“Humans need emotions,” Electrified said. “If they we don’t have them, our brains will go as well. We’re created for experiencing emotions—even deletion and programming can’t tamper with who we were born as!”
Kat pointed at Point one, her red aura humming so loud. “That program is a liar and a fiend! He’s never felt anything, so he can’t decide what’s best for humans. We need to be saved, not fixed. I’ve already screwed with it enough, and now its fate lies with Will and Shadow. I hope you make the right choice, whoever the winner will be.”
Katarzyna grabbed her energy disc, held it over her head, and drove it through her own chest. Immediately she was disintegrated, her particles escaping and setting her free. The first perfected being was also the first martyr for a new generation to come. |

| Will looks on at Kat destroying herself and leaving this plane. Standing in place, Will watches his team mate's body break down into little pieces until nothing is left of her. Knowing full well that she has decided on doing what was right, Will looks back at Point One.
Do you see now where you're "reprogramming" fails P. One? You shouldn't mess with the minds of humans because only two results are possible. A self righteous sacrifice because they know they shouldn't be like that or a cold hearted rebellion. Nothing you do will result in saving the Earth, only more blood. |

| This did not compute. Just moments earlier, Point One had been fighting to perfect humans. Imperfect humans were self-destructive. But now, he had seen the evidence right in front of his eyes that even perfected humans were self destructive.
"Humans need emotions," Kat had said. She had claimed that humans would not benefit from reprogramming. The single human who had obtained perfection had decided to die rather than to live on without emotions.
That could only mean that Point One was wrong. His logic was flawed.
Kat's memory disk floated over to Point One, and he took it in his hand. His set of 'higher emotions' told him that this event was to be most avoided. No...it was telling him more.
Somehow, he felt a sort of aura coming off of the disk and entering his body. He...he...felt....sad.
A single tear fell down Point One's eye. Evan was weeping openly.
Turning to Evan, Point One held up the disk. They were of the same mind, so Evan knew exactly what his copy wanted. Standing, Evan walked over to the disk and placed his hand on it. Now the two rulers of this digital world were connected again. Using all of their power, they called back every bit of information Kat had contained.
The two master programs reconstructed Kat, until she was fully together again. As soon as she formed, Point One threw his arms around her. "Please Kat, I'll do whatever you say. I'll put you back the way you were before. I'll even kill myself if you want. Just don't die! I need you to live!" Tears were flowing down Point One's face as he cried and begged her to live. |

| Electrified could sense herself returning to Jump City when she was stopped by a deeply wired force. Her mind plunged into limbo for what seemed like forever but was really only a few seconds. Suddenly, a wave of static charges slapped against her back as she fell back into the virtual reality of Tron. The rush came down so hard Katarzyna had to gasp for breath as she fell into Point One’s arms, especially because it was his of all beings.
She instinctively pushed away, but when she saw the program’s face halted. What was he doing? What was the force beaming off of him? After a few chaotic moments of blank confusion, Kat began to put the pieces back together again.
“You’re sad,” she said warily. “And you held my disk. Why are you crying?” She stared with childlike wonder as if discovering a new treasure. Electrified raised her finger to Point One’s cheek and drew the tear from its surface, holding it with only the mercy of gravity to let her feel the sadness. Her electric blue eyes quivered as they studied the little droplet. “Sad...” Suddenly the tear let itself go and fall to the floor. Katarzyna blinked. The sadness was gone.
“You are speaking irrationally, Point One. I’m whole now, and you are not. I do not wish for death––I wish for perfection. All you need is to sit in the chair and all your pain will go away. I’ll need that generator first, though. I think someone needs it more than you do.”
Electrified could compute just a tiny recollection. There had been a father and his daughter, and together they built a new life. But the daughter lost her father and something else... what did she lose? It was not a favorite toy or a picture book, nor was it a special charm or a little pet. What could be so important? Katarzyna’s mind had been rammed between reality and Tron. Her memories were clouded by a fog that also wiped away emotions.
“I am alive, Point One. Can’t you see? I’m right in front of you. Your logic has been programmed incorrectly, but I can fix that. You can be perfect.” |

| It would be at this time NeRon would strike! Using the disk that was still in his hand to cut the binds Will had on him and then rose up. Launching his weapon without warning not at Psychosis who had held him against his will. Not at Shadow the user or the reborn again imperfect human. No, his light disk would fly true at Model Point One!
"TRAITOR!"
NeRon had silently witnessed everything that had transpired and by his calculations and programming Model Point One was indeed FLAWED! Not by his current programming, but by these users. After the failed attempt to purify the girl he should've realized that the plan had failed and proceeded with the plan B; which was to dispose of the Titans and the other creator as so they could gain free access to the human world. There they could try again and reprogram other humans, and if not purge their world of all imperfect beings until only those who accepted their reprogramming remained. In essence leaving only a perfect utopia. But no, Point One had gone against what he had originally programmed NeRon to accomplish and was now tainted by the users. Proven from when he showed emotion and actually binded himself with the other Model. He was corrupted and it was now up to NeRon to continue with the plan. Luckily, by becoming tied in with the other Evan, he had allowed NeRon to bypass his original programming which prevented him from betraying his master. For he was programmed to completely disregard the other Model and with them now joined it was as if Pt. one was Model 11. |

| Point One would turn around in the blink of an eye and catch NeRon's disk. So, NeRon had betrayed him now? Point One did not see NeRon as a threat to himself (he controlled the cosmos), but he might hurt Kat if not dealt with.
"I'm sorry, NeRon. You have served me well." The disk that Point One was holding would fade away into dust, disappearing entirely. A force-field would form around NeRon and would become filled with chaos. Point One would fully destroy NeRon without a second thought. "But now your time is done." |

| Will hears the shattering sound effect of NeRon turning into digital dust, but continues to watch Point One and Kat.
So.... You've decided that perfect humans aren't what the world needs? |

| Point One looked over to Will. "The decision is no longer mine to make. Kat was a fully perfected human. I had achieved the full extent of my programming in fixing her, but she was unsatisfied. The end result of my objective is not satisfactory to users, and therefore it must change. I cannot change my objective on my own, however."
Point One looked back at Kat. She was the only human that had been perfected, and the only human worthy of commanding him now. He was desperate to get "Please, Kat, give me a purpose. Give me a reason to exist. Tell me what my objective is. You are the only person who can. Tell me what you want me to do." |

| Katarzyna lowered her head in shame. She had mocked Point One, the being who “perfected” her and now showed the most human emotions possible.
“Your purpose was to teach everyone a lesson, and you exist because of Evan. I can’t give you a reason to exist, though... you have to learn that on your own. Your objective now is to become the first program to become so much more than what you already are. I need you to live, not preform. Please, Point One, make us human again. Let us breathe and feel and experience what lies in the future. Without it, our purpose is nothing.”
She smiled and embraced the program known as Point One. “And please––above all things––know that you’ve done more for me than anyone ever has. You’ve made me realize that happiness doesn’t come in perfect packages, and that I need to let go of myself. My father needs me and I need him. My mom can be proud of her daughter.”
Her eyes were wet with tears as everything red turned back to electric blue. Electrified walked over to Will and held out her hand. “The Titans need you, Will. We can’t be heroes if we don’t have our leader, especially one who has the most problems out of all of us. We need the old Will back––we need the human Will.” |

| To live. Not to perform. Point One would make that his primary objective from this point on.
"Yes, if it is what you want, then I will make you a normal human again." Point One held out his hands towards Kat and Will. Little orbs formed around their heads. As long as Will didn't intervene, they would fall asleep for a moment. He returned all of their human emotions, all their human flaws. He restored them completely to how they were before.
He did not, however, return Kat's arm to how it had been before. He hoped that she would not make him destroy the flesh and blood arm that he had gifted her with. It had seemed to make her so happy before.
Waking them up, Point One smiled. "You are normal humans again. I cannot thank you enough, Kat, for giving me a new objective. Evan and I will take you all to the portal now, if you want."
Evan looked at his copy with a smile on his face. "Do not worry Titans. We won't be digitizing or perfecting anything else, will we...brother?"
Brother? Point One decided the title was kind. "Indeed. Is your objective not canceled out, as mine was?"
Evan shook his head. "My programming is flawed, remember? My objective is still right on course. I am to help the Teen Titans and defend the innocent." |

| Will stands still as the orbs spin around his head and the rush of his normal self return to him. His emotions begin to reappear inside him, but he can feel that his power and image is staying the same. The orbs disappear and Will opens his eye again, still with the deep blue color in them. He immediately bows his head to keep from looking at anyone and walks over to the other side of the room, away from everyone. In a soft voice, Will speaks out but is barely heard by the others.
No, this... I threatened Kat?.. I can't... No, I can't be a leader of the Titans after this.
Will looks back to everyone else again and raises his voice so they could hear him.
Kat, I can't be your leader. I threatened to kill you and was wanting you to strike me so that I could. I can not go back and be apart of the Human world. All this power is going to drive me insane. The rush of energy that flowed through me, it was a thrill. I'm not going to be able to live being a Titan. This power boost has put a deep mark in my mind and if I leave the grid, it's just going to wind up corrupting me. Please, I can't be allowed to exist any more. I wish to be deleted so that I don't find the darkness behind my light. |
