The Grid=Tron Cross-Over (Alternate Universe)

Electrified’s whips erupted red lightning as her hair and eyes turned the same shade crimson. She scoffed, disgust and repugnance towards Will brewing in her core. Jurisdiction wasn’t a factor anymore.

“Oh, it is mockery, thou almighty and powerful Psychosis,” she sneered. “Just remember that if you blow this place to hell, you’re going down right beside us. I don’t care who you are or who you think you are, I’ll kill you without hesitation. Better to die a pawn than die a traitor, wouldn’t you say?”

Suddenly Kat charged at Will, stopping only a few feet in front of him before kicking off the ground, spinning her whips like a helicopter’s wings, and tumble-diving into a defensive stance opposite Psychosis. Her lightning was surging through the whole floor now, erupting through the cracks of random panels as it infiltrated the Grid’s system.

“You’re move, pawn. Come and try to kill the Queen.”

Evan and Point One worked in unison to try to disarm the orbs around Will. They also created an invisible shield that should protect everyone in the room from such an explosion.

Will lets out a small sigh while watching Kat's little whip dance. After hitting the ground and ordering him to make his move, Kat looks on at Will who stares right back when the orbs around him fire off to barrage Kat in a blinding light.

The sounds of muffled scream can be heard coming from Kat. Looking through the light, Will can see that she has been trapped in ice and electricity is bouncing through the structure, hitting Kat endlessly from every angle.

Your whips are being used against you, Kat. You might want to turn your power off if you want the pain to end. I warned you about what would happen, but you wouldn't listen so now that future has occured just even faster.

Electrified screamed in agony from her icy tomb as her own power ricocheted off her suit and into her system. She couldn’t do anything to help herself except try to clam her nerves, but that was completely impossible. Red had started to leech all the electricity in the room, growing even more stronger as Katarzyna’s anger did, too.

Her shrieks only made the lightning scramble more frantically, faster and faster as Will’s power started to rip her apart. It was only minutes now...

Point One couldn't stand the sight of Kat in pain, holding out a hand, he dissolved the ice into nothingness.

"I thought that you didn't want to hurt anyone, Will." He turned his head to look Will in the eye. "If death is truly what you seek, then do not cause it in those you love."

Suddenly, Evan had an idea. Forming a new program up from the ground, he fashioned it into the exact likeness of Will. "With your powers, Will, I'm sure that you can control an avatar such as this. Your mind can stay here in the Grid, but if you allow this body to leave under your control, you will still exist in the world. It is unable to contain all of your power, as I assume your power is connected to your soul. Trust me, Avatars are most beneficial."

'Kat!'

Shadow cried out as she saw her friend hurt. Shocked and still angry, she turned back to Will. There was a look in his eyes that hadn't been there before; something the winged girl had refused to notice until now. There was pain in her eyes as she finally realized why he had wanted to be deleted.

'Evan, wait. Will's right. He can't go back to Jump and he can't stay here, either. The power's not the problem.'

Shadow moved closer to Will, trying to find a trace of the boy she used to know in him, something to prove her wrong. She found nothing. Her eyes closed with a mixture of sadness and frustration as she saw the truth; his power had tainted his mind and removing it would do nothing. He was human, after all, not a simple piece of data. He couldn't be backed up or restored to an earlier version.

'Will... Do you still think you need to be killed here?'

Hearing Shadow's voice, Will begins to calm down a bit as he still carries all of his feelings for her inside of him. Will drops the magical energy around him and allows Suraya to approach him.

Yes, I know you wish my answer was different but I need to keep myself from hurting people. I need to be taken care of before my magic explodes again like it just did on Electrified.

A tear trembled on the edge of Shadow's eye, as hard as she tried to keep it back. She was so tempted to let it go, try anything to get things back to the way they used to be, but at the same time she knew that if she did she'd never forgive herself.

'W-well, then...'

Shadow stared up at him, memorizing his familiar, yet changed face. A tendril of darkness rose up behind her. She tried hard not to think of it as an execution weapon.

Will takes a breath in as he waits for Shadow to make her move. He knows he won't be able to keep his magic down for long and struggles to keep it from attacking Shadow. Electrified had insulted him so he gave her a small taste of what he could do with his abilities. Will's body stands stiff with the thoughts of Shadow and Electrified running through his head. Raising his left arm, Psychosis takes Shadow's hand into his and pulls her even closer to him. Will hears the beat of her heart defeaning the sounds of everything else around. All the thoughts in his head begin drowning out as Will suddenly makes his head meet Suraya's and swiftly touches his lips to hers. Inside the minds of the two, Will tells Suraya that he will watch over her and make sure to keep her from harm.

Electrified gasped for breath as she landed on the floor, her face strained with sweat and her whips flickering like a short-circuited lightbulb. Her breathing was shortened and stifled, but her furious hatred of Will remained as strong as the power he made turn against herself. The task of simply coming to her knees was draining and staying alive were looking more futile with every move. And yet, the Titan rose to her feet with unfaltering strength and proud angst. Beneath her jet black eyeliner, blazing red sparks danced inside the deep pools of Katarzyna’s blood-charged irises. She walked over to Point One’s side, sliding two black handles down her sleeves and locking her eyes on Will. She pressed the square, black buttons at the tip of her handles. A steady flow of red lightning slithered out, quickly followed by a sharpened metal cord.

“We’re not going to let you go the easy way, Will. Not after what you’ve done. This isn’t a storybook ending where the hero gets to fade away into a place any better than this one. Your little angel is only gonna fall if she has to saddle the pitiful, helpless, undignified little brat along the way.” She turned her head ever-so-slightly to acknowledge Point One, then continued. “I’ve given Point One a purpose and now it’s time for him to return the favor. You’re only going to screw everything up whether you’re deleted, left to rot, or killed by your loving sweetheart, Will. The Titans do need you, but not in this imperfect state. The only way I’ll not have your head is after we need to do what we already started. Point One, reprogram him now or I’ll kill both you and him alike! Do it, Point One! This is your purpose!”

"Understood." It felt good to have a new, concrete purpose in life.

Hoping that Will's defenses were down, Point One summoned Will's memory disk away from the Titan's back. Instantly absorbing all the information Will possessed, Point One searched for insight into the magical realm. It was almost too much for him to understand. He was already experiencing errors in his functionality, but he should still be able to complete his objective.

Turning Will's own power against him, Point One directed a portion of Will's magic to destroy the barrier around Will's mind. The program would put all of his power into attempting to reprogram Will's very soul. Using a combination of magic and code, Point One hoped to restore Will to his original self without any rampaging powers.

Evan was unsure about how to react, so he did nothing.

ooc: Well, Crazy Moon just messaged me to tell he's quitting, and to just control Will. I'd really like to finish this roleplay, but I think it would be kind of hard without him. :/
