Suit Up (Open/Lone)

‘Growing up i wondered what the world outside would be like, smell like, sound like, look like. The others dreamed about how amazing it would be, where they would be accepted understood and held closely rather than being trapped in the hell hole we grew up in. I knew better though, I listened to the guards too much to think otherwise. So while everyone worked on getting out and that was it, i worked on planning on how to survive the break out, and how i would take care of myself after. I knew better to rely on others.’

‘And do to this i was one of the few who managed to make it to the outside world to learn that i was right, the world didn’t care about us, it was just us on our own here. Of course i wish this wasn't the case but, there's no helping it, so i might as well just focus on survival and making sure i don't get recaptured so i came to america. From what i hear, they are too prideful to let Russia just barge in with all their troops to just find someone who could only help Russia in the long run and be possibly turned against them. I hope the others were smart enough to figure that out too.’

A girl with blue green loose curly hair closed her eyes and mouthed out some numbers as she thought for a moment before opening them and kitted a series of numbers into the back door of a store. The light on it turned green and she then picked the lock to the back door before walking inside. She walked over to the winter clothes and tossed her raggy and falling apart jaket boots and hat off to the side and started to pull on some new ones that were on the racks and yanked the price tags off.

She grabbed some spare clothes of whatever she could grab and stuffed them into her backpack before looking through the boots they had and held the soles up to the bottom of her feet until she found the right size. She passed by the cashregister and grabbed some handfuls of candy and gum before stuffing them in her pocket and put some gum into her mouth before sitting down on the side of the counter and began to pull her boots on and tie them silently.

Ghost had been trailing on leads from his connections in the info networks about a mysterious girl from russia sighing to himself as he just finished up another "cleansing" of the local drug lords he thought to himself 'its by far a large coincidence that the girl might be one like me' breaking him from his thoughts he say a lone girl open a backdoor to a store from his ally using his stealth tactics he entered from were she went in from then spoke in russian on a hunch "children should not take without asking, i'm 003 who are you?" he closed the door behind him and sat on a counter before lighting a cigarette in the store lucky for him the store owner must be a serious cheap skate since there's no alarm nor any form of fire safety alarm  taking a small bundle from his side pouch he holds it out inside is a hot breakfast sandwich "here i won't bite kid" he waits there for as long as possible not trying to be intimidating which really isn't his strong suit. 'god im really not good at this sort of thing hope im not scaring her

The girl jumped the moment she heard someone speak in Russian to her. They couldn’t have found her yet, she was too careful! SHe finished tying her books and jumped back grabbing a ring pop a she did so and ripped it out of its packaging as she got ready to fight as she eyed him a bit. 003… he could be lying… or trying to lure her in… She though looked to the food he held out she looking like she was ready to throw the candy ring at him as she backed up a little before snapping her fingers and pointed to the ground to tell him to put it on the ground she wanting him to kick it over to her.

Once or if he did she would slowly without looking from him grab it and sniff it a bit before putting it in her backpack and put the ring pop between her teeth before she started to sign with her hands. ‘They called me 0029, are you with them?’ She signed before hovering her hand over he candy in her mouth to be ready to throw it. If the man knew anything about who she may be, it was very likely that he knew that her group was genetically altered to be born without vocal chords to make sure that if they in the future were on the field couldn’t actually speak out any of their secrets.

The secondary hope was to see if they could better avoid the projects from working together for their own benefits. This part would be common knowledge to anyone who did know about them. Less common would be the fact that one of the projects snuck out of their area one day to one of the lab workers offices and found a book on sign language and taught the others the language. And only she and the others would know that that one project was her, and she had been put into solitary for 3 months for it.

putting the food on the ground he could only make out a few things she signed 0029 and are you with them. he shook his head "no kid i'm not with the lab and judging by the way things are going you must be one of the later projects that were made off of similar gene splicing since im what you could call a prototype dont worry im not going to turn you into them but if there's anyone left of you guys still waiting to get out i would try to get them out or die trying no one needs to live the life we did" his fist clench and unclench
"i'm sorry i let them keep doing what they did if only i would have stayed a bit longer i could have gotten the others out there may even have been time to save my freinds" a lone tear fell from his eye to the floor below. looking back to her he tosses a flash drive near the food "take this its info to my network a group of shadow brokers and clients who will buy info if your interested in it that is i would like to partner up with you make sure you dont suffer the same fate as Ghosts 4-12"

She listened carefully to him and eyed his body language too… he seemed to be telling the truth… this was good… she started to sign again then. ‘We were one of their most recent ones yes. And my group all left at once… only a few of us made it out and we all went separate ways. I don’t know what's up with them though. I haven’t looked into them though so i wouldn't get any eyes on me that i don’t need.’ she sighed with a near straight face most of her emotion was uncertainty caused by her not sure how to feel about the man still yet though.

Based on his reaction he had been a bit more close to his co projects unlike her. It’s not that she didn’t care about them, she did, she just wasn't as attached to them so if they died like they did end up doing she wouldn't be hurt as bad due to their loss… though that way of thinking was what the lab people wanted.. To most that would be seen as them winning but to 29 it was more her surviving and thinking smart rather than them winning. They were evil, but not wrong on all parts of their survival tactics.

She looked to the flash drive before signing. ‘I don't own a device that can use that’ SHe signed, it was true but she could easily just try and get one the same way she got her clothes, she though wanted to see his reaction to it. ‘Thanks i’ll take it but no offence but i don't know what your group was like but mine was just kids like me. There were 30 of us to start with, 20 of us didn't die from meta gene complications, out of those 20 16 of them made partnerships with the wrong people and when we went to escape only 4 of us including me made it out because we were smarter.

So forgive me if i don’t fully trust someone i just met.’ She signed with a serious face before pocketing the flash drive ‘I’ve stayed alive for the past year without issues so i'm not too motivated to rush into the first person who wants to help me out. That and tactically speaking i have no true data on you that i have read or seen in a factual manner to deem you as safe nor enough knowledge of the outside world to how if you're just doing what some kids say over here which is blowing **** out of your ass.’ she honestly didn't know if that was the right saying or not but it felt like it.

Ghost nods and signs back "you fine kiddo, but i got a question for you was your hair color always that color or was it black?" he asked in a slightly hoping tone mainly by a strange chance that shes the person hes been wondering still exists walking over to the store window peering threw it to make sure no ones noticed the break in yet then returned to 29 and put a house key on the floor as well "this is a copy of the key to a building were me and a group of people i help lives if you ever need a place to stay or lay low your more than welcome to stop by" he sat on the edge of the counter lost in his thought wondering if his hopes to his question would be answered

29’s eyes narrow a bit at his question she getting a bit more cautious about him now. What was with such a weird question? If he was who he said he was why would her hair color matter to him? Was there something going on that she didn’t know about. The flash drive would likely prove to her if he was to be trusted or not due to him telling the truth, but up until then she had absolutely no reason to take what he was saying as true. And with all that imma be the savior of everyone from that lab **** he said before he didn't really seem to bad an eye about the fact that she just told him that 26 children died in the making of them being here.

That and despite what she had just told him about her trusting him or having troubles doing so he still tried to give her more things. Even a key to apparently where he had been staying. Did he have that made before hand for her or was it his current key? Was he just trying to hope she was like any other kid he rage? Gullible? Over trusting? Just trying to look edgy but was a big ball of fluff under it all? She gave a scoff that only made sound due to the sudden release of air shaking her head. SHe wasn’t any of that.

And her instincts told her to just throw the key and flash drive at him at this point, he was way too suspicious and for all she knew the flash drive or key would have a tracking device for the moment she put the flashdrive in a computer it could send off a hey look guys she's over here signal. Or the key could lead her just to a trap. Running into a guy like him was just far too convenient let alone one so willing to help. She took out the flashdrive and tossed it by the key and signed ‘If you are who you say you are i think you’ll get why i have true reason to believe that you're just blowing **** out of your ass.’

‘Why i can't just trust you on your word alone or in the first few meetings. But my hair was black before it was blue green yeah, when my powers activated my hair changed this color.’ She signed before looking over to see some people eyeing them from afar calling likely the police. ‘And now you got me where i can’t get more supplies cause i have to leave now due to people calling up the police about a little girl in the store with a guy wearing” she motioned to all of him ‘that.’ she signed before slowly backing up towards the door keeping her eyes on him her hand holding the ring pop at the ready just in case.
