Hazel's Halloween Hextravaganza (Open to all)

It was halloween night and all through the city, frights were abound and some masks not so pretty. Although on this particular hallow’s eve, there was a magical touch in the air, something delightfully mysterious, an allure that brought all beings great and small to one particular place. Although an air of mystery all practices this night would be safe, perhaps not child friendly, depending on where you went, but it would be a night to remember for sure.

The whole of Central Park had been transformed into a wonderland of ghouls and ghosties, a ferris wheel with a smiling pumpkin face of lights turned merrily, attracting people from afar, the usual jogger’s path was lined with stalls of all things mystical and delicious. String lights with little ghosts lit the path for visitors which took them around the park, along the stalls, splitting off into an adults section which had darker and scarier themes, a fear coaster that went up high then seemingly went right into the ground, although of course, this was all perfectly safe and just took the people to a cave area full of illusionary bats and other such creatures that would pop out and scare you. There would also be traditional halloween games such as apple bobbing and a portal that took people to a ghost tour around some of the most haunted areas of the world.

In the kiddies section there would be a more tamed theme, as to not make the little ones cry, there would be a small rollercoaster that just gently went up and down and made spooky noises with Dracula’s face painted on the front of the cart, as well as a little area to watch halloween themed kid’s films.

In between the kiddies and the adults would be a mixed ages area, this was where the big ferris wheel was as well as some more food stalls, a spinning teacup ride, and other such amusement park rides, behind the ferris wheel would be a pick your own pumpkin patch with a carving pumpkins lesson going on beside it which taught people how to carve the spookiest looking pumpkins. Behind that would be a big hedgerow maze, those who found the middle would get their fortune told for free by a mystical looking old woman sat in front of a crystal ball, of course, to add some challenge for the adults, monsters would occasionally appear from seemingly nowhere to chase them around

Hazel, being the creator of this wonderful idea watched her creation happily from above, stood on her broomstick while dressed in a more traditional witch’s black dress and hat, showing less cleavage than she normally would due to there being kiddies around as well as some purple and black striped knee socks and leather ankle high heel boots. Thanks to the help of her friends from school, her aunt and her grandmother, she was able to bring this wonderful idea to life.

After watching everything and it seemingly going well, she floated back down and walked over to one of the stalls to get a candy apple, talking to one of her friends tending the store as she watched passers by, of course, there would also be a few animal familiars acting as security guards, with the ability to detain and ban anyone who caused trouble to other people, there were plenty of dark areas beyond the fair where people could do whatever the heck they wanted as long as it didn’t hurt anyone.

Walking through the kiddies section was a seemily sibling duo in costumes, the towering, built sister was garbed in a royal toga of Julius Caesar while her smaller younger brother geared in Praetorian Guard armor clung to her arm as if he will be whisked away by goblins in the night. The sister smiled at his nervousness and chuckled at the picture of the finest soilder of the Imperial Roman Army cowering behind their Caesar, "Pray tell catlaster, what sinister force had shaken my fine champion to make him cower to his peer for protection. Is it tiny princesses or the Batman clones," She teased her Ward as she rubbed his exposed hair with her free hand. Solgaleo blushed from the teased and clung on tighter to Legate. "It's my first Halloween," he mumbled shyly into his sister figure who gave a small chuckle at his response. She will never understand child mentality especially for Solgaleo, getting shot and hit is fine but gets cold feet when around something childish, to her at least. "Come now pup, lets go see a movie together, and don't worry I'll protect you from the ghosties" Solgaleo whined at her continued teasing but nodded in agreement to go see what kid friendly movies they are playing.

When Hazel said she was going to put on an entertainment attraction, she really meant it. Kiara was impressed with how the Northerners celebrated their festivals. There was less dancing than she was used to. And the costumes had less colour too them. But the roller coaster had been exciting and she now knew how to carve a pumpkin. She'd added a tongue to hers, and gilded it with Mayan patterns. They still had it displayed when she left.

For her own costume, Kiara had replaced the decoration of her head-dress and now walked around with fronds topping her pulled-down frightening mask. She was wearing a crop-top and shorts, and anklets and neck chokers and all shorts of jewellery. Looking around this evening, she saw the revelries had done their job and driven off any lingering spectral entities. They were the ones scared here.

Benighted came to join a line for apple bobbing. She got the gist of the game just from watching and fancied she'd do fine. Assuming she was allowed to pull back her mask.

Hazel would be walking around and making sure everything was going smoothly, tossing the eaten candy apple into a nearby bin, her broomstick tied across her back. Sebastian scurried over to her and gave her the 2 hour status report, everything was going smoothly so far, perfect, Sebastian then vanished into the darkness again as a few fireworks went off into the sky, creating glittering spooky images in the night sky.

While walking around she would encounter the brother and sister and gave a smile to them, glad they seemed to be enjoying the festivities, she made her way to the apple bobbing where she recognised her friend Kiara, she would watch her friend as they allowed Kiara to pull back her mask.

Solgaleo and Bellona made their way towards the spot where the movies were playing. The former was still clinging to her arm like a security blanket but seem to have calmed down somewhat. The sound of fireworks caught his attention and he gazed upwards to see the bright flashes. The sight was a spectacle to behold and had eased his nerves somewhat. They passed a lady who they noticed her giving a smile, Solgaleo meekly waved why Bellona just simply smiled. As they got to the outside projection booths the duo looked at the available movies. The Roman was about to speak when Solgaleo beat her to it, "How about the 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown'?" He looked up to his sister figure face with puppy eyes who was looking down at him as well with an blank face. With a blink a smile broke her poker face as she patted Solgaleo head with her free hand. "All right fine, let's go see it" Solgaleo gave a smile at Bellona agreement on what movie to see. With that said they head to watch the movie.

Toji had heard about a amazing Halloween themed event appearing in the Central Park,and had come to check it out. He was in civvie mode, and clad in yellow pants and a Pikachu hoodie, which had a pair of ears sewn onto the hood,and a tail sewn into the hem. Bright blue,spiky looking bangs stuck out from the hood, and a happy looking smile dancing across his face as he looked around with wide, shining eyes. This was awesome...He could tell he was gonna have lots of fun. Hearing the whistle of fireworks, the boy glanced upward, giving a impressed laugh at the images they made. Pausing by a food stall, he snagged a spooky snack, and nommed on it as he continued walking. What to do first...

Meanwhile,another boy had entered this place as well. Purple eyes peered out from behind a cheap, horned skull mask made out of thin plastic, the hood of a worn coat shades the rest of his features from view,excepting the red tufts of hair poking out.He wandered around for a bit,and wound up at the apple bobbing spot. Stepping pass a witch,Imp placed himself at the end of the line and waited for his turn.

Kiara readied herself for the challenge ahead. She clasped her hands behind her back and leaned over the water basin. She went for the closest apple and imagine biting in quick. Of course in practice she only succeeded in dunking her face, allowing the fruit to float off. She tried again and again, each attempt becoming more desperate as she came to recognise a task she was not good at. It was only when her latest effort left her blowing bubbles in the font that the event supervisor called time.

The Belizean pushed the damp of her fringe out of her face and began to wring out her pigtail. It was then that she recognised Hazel and grimaced, "The apple didn't want me."
