| That nose felt real, and for some reason his reaction to it made her blush very slightly. But only for a moment as she settled back into her little hammock. Adriana still didn't understand why he needed to thank her, it felt weird for more reason then just the obvious one. She'd watch him enjoy his nachos for a moment before she munched on her own BBQ potato chips. This was new to her, actually having someone to eat snacks with. Which was made more strange by the fact it was with a mythical being. She vaguely remembered, something about tails but couldn't fully remember. Probably wasn't that important right now. But now she was definitely more curious then she had been earlier. | |

| Fox was making quick work of the tray of nachos, having just discovered junk food for the first time in his life. Before he knew it he'd eaten all of the nachos and was busy licking the plastic tray clean with his tongue. Surprisingly, despite his apparently voracious appetite, he didn't have any cheese on his clothes or fur. What few crumbs he had stuck to his face were quickly dealt with with one large sweep of his tongue as he licked his chops.
"Modern food is so weird, but tasty!" Fox declared as he pulled some more snacks from his pockets, laying it all out for both of them to see. He picked up one of the bottles of water and opened it up, a quick gulp let him know that at least water was still the same... though with how chilled it was it was certainly a bit of a treat to him still.
"And this water is cold enough that it might as well have come from a snow melt from a mountain, but it was just sitting there in that place! Hehehe!"

| Modern food? That was an odd thing to call them. What did he mean by that? "We have all kinds of modern conveniences. Cold water to drink for example," she remarked, actually finishing her bag of potato chips before picking out a bottle of water from the pile. There would probably be no way they'd finish all of this in one night. Well, she wouldn't atleast. "You wouldn't have been sent here from the past by a wizard would you?" She questioned seriously, even if what she said was quite absurd if a boy younger then her had the exact same thought. Adriana never thought she'd be considering the possible existence of wizards. But Fox was a Kitsune, it was time to question everything she thought she knew. | |

| Fox popped open a bag of chips and crunched away as Weaver spoke. He was finding these crunchy, salty, and somewhat tangy, little things to be an absolute delight! Before she finished asking her question he was done with a whole bag, making it the perfect time for him to reply before popping open a new bag.
"Well... not exactly. There were these ninjas, and then these monks... and well..." Fox seemed reluctant to go on, the memory being quite painful and still rather fresh for him. After a few moments of awkward silence he took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he steeled his nerves.
"I was stuck inside a little jade statue... sealed, for at least a thousand years. I couldn't see anything, move about, eat, drink, smell the air... nothing. The only thing I could do was listen to what was going on around the statue I was stuck inside. It was very dark, and lonely." Fox had pulled his legs up toward his chest now, wrapping his arms around himself as if to shield himself from the world. Even his tails had slid out from under his robe, laying limp on the floor behind him.
"It's one thing to be trapped... but it's so much worse to just be forgotten." He said in a very quiet tone.

| That explained a lot. But a thousand years? He was probably that old? And he still acted like a child? Adriana was quiet as she seemed to find a sore spot, feeling sorry for Fox now. She couldn't even imagine how that must feel. And it did make her feel guilty about earlier. "I didn't mean to bring up bad memories," she apologized, moving over slightly in her hammock."But you're free now, and now you have nothing but time to live," she added more brightly, moved over enough for Fox to hop into the hammock with if if he so chose. | |

| Fox looked up at Weaver and watched as she scooted over a bit to make room for him. A soft smile crept onto his face and he hopped up and instantly nuzzled against Weaver. It just felt nice to know that he wasn't alone, that it wasn't too late for him to still make friends and enjoy life.
"Not your fault... you didn't do anything to me." Fox said as she apologized for dredging up some painful memories. He rested his head against her shoulder, seemingly taking comfort from just having some simple human contact.

| Weaver tensed as he immediately nuzzled her, feeling uncomfortable about it. But after his saying he had been trapped for so long, she didn't have the heart to say as much. And it wasn't like she hated it. But it was just new and strange to her. Plus he was so fuzzy, no one would fault her! Her face was also slightly red for a moment again. "Anyway, I'm going to sleep now. We have things we need to talk about in the morning," she said as she weaved what looked like a blanket using her threads. | |

| "Can... can I stay next to you?" Fox asked, giving Weaver his best 'cute puppy dog eyes' look that he could. Now that they'd talked about his past he was feeling emotionally drained a bit tired himself. He really didn't want to be alone, and she had just made room for him on the hammock. A nice little nap with someone he felt safe around would probably work wonders on him. | |

| "Sure. Can't have you sleeping on the floor after doing such a good job~" she replied with a small yawn, wrapping the blanket around them. | |
