Intruder (Pika)

Jump City on a Friday night usually consisted of petty crime, people taking advantage of the drunk party people and stealing their stuff easily. It was dark and over cast to top it all off, the only source of light came from the street lights, and those were sparse as you approached the trashier part of town, meaning it was more dangerous to walk alone. With this all being said, it wasn't unusual for a group of guys to be walking around in all black, almost perfectly blending in with the night to the common eye. They all seemed to have something on their mind because they moved to the same location without having to communicate.
All six of them approach a shop at the end of the street, ignoring the ground level layer and started walking down a set of steep stairs. The men would then follow this up by unlocking the door and pushing it open, quickly running inside. They had been spotting out this place for weeks now, watching this guy go in and out and observing his schedule ever so closely, he leaves almost every Friday night at 10pm and comes back Saturday morning at 6 am, so they have a huge window to get what they need.

Walking in, there would be tons of wig heads everywhere holding masks in all different sizes and materials. The men would silently start putting the expensive masks into a bag and headed to the back to get the actual material, these would sell very highly to the right buyer.
Meanwhile, Mercury tip toed down stairs to see his shop being rummaged through, he couldn't get a good look at who it was, but he knew how to stop them. Silently, the boy walked back upstairs to get his mask.

Mercury ruffled through his masks upstairs very slowly and quietly, if anyone walked in on him it would almost be like he didn't know people were downstairs taking everything. There was a very nonchalant air to him, that was his entire life summed up.
Meanwhile men downstairs were almost completely done going through his stuff were stopped by a Titan of all things. Quickly the three in the front all ran at Meta with batons that had nails sticking out of them. One of them went to bash his head, the other went to knock out is side, and the other tried to go for his legs. The other three guys were putting the rest of the supplies in their duffel bags and attempted to run out the back.

All of the thugs were thrown off to the side like they weighed nothing, Meta easily disarming them and ridding of them. Four of them lay unconscious as the one ran out with most of the supplies to the main road, deciding the alleyway could end poorly. The fifth man still in the house with Meta picked up one of the bats and went for his legs, attempting to dodge another attack Meta would throw only to use the baseball bat again. Of course he wasn't as nearly as skilled at Meta was, but he was definitely the best one out of the group.
Meanwhile the other thug had run out of the alleyway and was running down the street in complete darkness. However, Mercury was blankly staring in the mirror with the mask in hand, was it really worth it? He means... It was a lot of stuff... but that could end pretty messily and he didn't have the money to pay for hospital bills...

After knocking the fifth thug unconscious, Meta ran out to the street where the thug was running with the heavy duffel bag filled with expensive products. Being a meta human, the Titan would easily be able to catch up with this guy, especially since he was slowed down with the bag. Meanwhile Mercury finally decided that he needed to get his stuff back, walking downstairs while he thought. He looked around and saw several of the guys strewn about, meaning someone else had been here to stop them.. That was good.. He almost went back up stairs until he heard a yell from the man running away from Meta outside.
Taking this as he cue, Mercury secured the strap on the back of his head and jumped forward, turning into a full sized male lion. The lion would run out the front door and chase the two men down the street, there were a lot more of the guys than he originally thought, he better get that duffel bag before it was too late. With this in mind, the Lion would jump and attempt to tackle Meta, a claw going right for the back.

Just as easily as Meta caught up with the thief, Mercury caught up with Meta. The lion attempted to slash his back, but Meta skillfully dodged, which made the thief yell rather loudly. Being where they were, nobody came out to check what was going on, they didn't want to get involved. However, the Lion ran passed Meta, it's eyes on the bag that the thief was holding. He jumped over to him and slashed at his legs, cutting the tendons in his ankles completely. The thief let out a horrible scream and fell to the ground, unable to walk. Now with the bag safely away from the thief, the Lion laid eyes on Meta, the thief's accomplice. To Mercury it looked like the two of them had just broken into his house and was running away with all of his stuff, he had no idea who this guy was.
With that being said, the Lion growled at Meta and started circling around him.

Mercury kept on circling around him, growling as he did so, this guy stole his stuff and he should pay... but at the same time... why bother? He already got his stuff back, so there's that, why should he go out of the way to hurt this guy when it might just end poorly for Mercury.
With all of this in mind, the Lion began walking towards his bag and picked it up with his mouth, he thought about shifting back to his normal form, but he didn't want the thief to get any ideas. However, as soon as he was getting ready to head back home, one of the thieves from earlier stumbled out of his home and was growling angrily, this time a gun in his hand. "So much for keeping quiet!" He yelled, pointing his gun as Meta and firing it twice. Mercury, not looking at the thief, thought Meta yelled at him and fired the gun. This of course made the lion turn around and would attempt to tackle Meta, shoving his claws in his back.

The gunshots did nothing to the man, but he still dodged the lions attack as bullets began firing once again. Mercury quickly noticed that the bullets wasn't coming from the blonde guy, but instead someone who just exited his house. Angrily, the lion charged after the man, gun shots firing at the giant beast. One of the shots landed in the beasts shoulder, but by the time he got there the thief ran out of bullets. Not even hesitating, the lion jumped and drove his claw across his chest, blood splattering across the pavement as he did so.
Now with blood leaking out of its shoulder, the Lion turned to face Meta, he wasn't done just yet. It felt... good.. to take back what was his... it might just be the adrenaline in his body though, as soon as that wears off he's screwed. Nonetheless, the Lion charged after Meta and let out a vicious roar to scare him, he was planning to attack him head on.

The man decided to stop running and dodging, and stood head strong as the lion charged. He must be a lot stronger than his allies if he was going to take the lion on like this, however Mercury didn't put too much thought into it, the adrenaline in his veins just told him to attack and get what was his. That's it. So, that's what he did.
Mercury leaped towards Meta and stretched his claws, going to rip his thighs open. His plan was simply to demobilize him, he didn't want to harm him more than that. The police could just find them all like this and deal with them later.
