Mal seemed to have an eye for mistrust, as he sniped out Greed's doubts without the Sin even voicing them. Greed prided himself on a decent poker face, but it seemed that by mere fluke or out skill it had failed.

"That would do a lot to prove the truth to me. To be honest, I suspected this to be a useless shiny rock." He admitted aloud, putting his hands in his pockets, the sphere with them. Despite suspecting it to be useless it was clear the Sin would refuse to give it back.

"If you give me those memories, you'll have my loyalty."

A light pressure touched the sin slowly spreading over Greed's body. The strange pressure soon enveloped his whole body as Mal drew closer reaching out for his head. His fingertips touched Greed's temples and suddenly he wasn't looking at Malan'tai any more. He felt strange in his body like it wasn't his own. The ruby was sitting before him, he simply knew it to be a ruby now as if remembering it.

His hands reached out suddenly wearing Mal's clothes before lifting the gem from the desk. He held it at eye level and felt himself thinking. 'Greed will probably want to see this memory anyway.' His mouth opened and a light trail of gray smoke extended, Greed felt a part of him being torn away a tiny part as wails filled the office. It took only about ten seconds before the smoke swirled under the surface of the ruby then went back to being crystal clear.

An intercom suddenly rang out. "Greed is nearing the maze exit." He grabbed the ruby and started out of the office. Then abruptly he was back to looking at Malan'tai whose hands were leaving his head. "Well that reassure you?"

Greed had never had other memories implanted in his head. The feeling was new, and strange. He saw and felt everything as if he was Mal. It was a little disorientating for a moment, but then he had his bearings again. He remembered the memory as if it were his own, and found himself inclined to believe Mal for the moment.

"That's reassuring indeed." He announced, crossing his arms. "I'm sure that you'll have no trouble getting in contact with me when you need something. Is there anything that you have for me now, or should I head to my area and wait for a call?"
