Brian remained silent throughout Kyte's explanation of the list. He scanned through the names, he saw some he recognized, and some that he didn't. Looking at the ones he recognized he could see that they would be quite easy to 'persuade' the ones he didn't wouldn't. Though he hated to do this he had a feeling he would need a bit more information, and who else to get that info than from the common scum of Jump. In fact, normally he wouldn't do this... but the money TALON paid wasn't chump change. So Brian was willing to owe a favor or two.
Brian waited for Blake to say her piece and for Eric to ask his question and get his answer. While that was done, Brian would stare at the list and try to go through and figure out who he could get to and how fast he could get to them. Then he wondered what it would cost him. He needed to evaluate the net gain from doing this, so far depending on the people he was going to be working with it looked like Brian was going to be operating at a net loss. That was never good.
"Well depending on the contracts you got, I can get at least 45% of the guys here by sundown if they are complete trash. If you got a few gems that number goes up by at least another 20%. My only question is how do you prefer their status? Of course you prefer them alive but how much do you care about broken bones and such?" Brian asked calmly his eyes narrowed.
