Worth something more (Bloo)

Suzuki absorbed Garnet's words, feeling like a kid getting taught a new lesson at school. She found herself envying the gem's sense of peace in this world, and her wisdom. Tonight showed the teen that she still had a lot to learn about this world, especially her place in it. Suzuki would have to wait until she was older, wiser, then she'd understand more... idly, she wondered what her brother would do in her situation. He always was smarter than her. "Thank you, Garnet-san. For your wisdom."

She bowed low to the older Titan, not really seeing them as equals but more like a teach and a student. It was something she'd have to accept. Suzuki knew she was powerful, but power without age could easily be manipulated. Suzuki gave the city one last glance, having no idea the sea of troubles in front of her... but feeling more prepared to face them.

The night ended a lot better and Garnet was happy to see it end this way. She smiled at Suzuki, getting ready to head out and finish the night productively. "Just remember to keep an open mind and caring for others is okay. You'll do great Suzuki and I'm proud of you." Garnet told her, with a smile. She wiped her hand across her face and her glasses would return, covering her three eyes. "Oh, you probably shouldn't sleep out here tonight because you'll catch a cold." She told her, as if she knew she was planning to stay the night out here.

Suzuki smirked at Garnets words. She'd even gotten scolded on her plans to sleep outside, something she wasn't even sure she was gonna do! "You sound like a mom, Garnet-san." Suzuki said with a childish chuckle, much unlike her usual attitude. It felt like she was starting to drop her guard. "Does this make you my... square mom?"

Suzuki's response was quite humor-able, making Garnet actually laugh. "If I'm Square mom then you're Suzu." Was all she said, still smiling at her. "Goodnight Suzu." And with that, Garnet went down stairs and to her room, where'd she spend all night trying to do something productive. She didn't technically need sleep, so every night was usually boring for her if she didn't utilize it properly.

Suzuki smirked at Garnet using her nickname. It was childish, something only Yang ever really called her, but Suzuki genuinely enjoyed it. To be completely honest, having a moment of feeling childish was a breath of fresh air when everything around her was life or death. "Goodnight, Square Mom." Suzuki teased, letting Garnet get a head start down the stairs before following after. A cold did NOT sound like fun.
