Hear ye, hear ye! Under decree of the royal administration of the lands of Teen Titans, Legacy, the canon characters of yesteryear are finally returning!*ahem* Erm...what he means to say, is, canon characters are back.
Who can play a canon character?Simply put, anyone can play a canon character. More complexly, there are a few requirements. For a canon, unless you have proved to be
exceedingly well at roleplaying, the minimum requirement would be 1,000 posts.
Which brings up the question of slots. 750 posts is a considerable benchmark. It requires commitment, and most of all it requires time. Therefore, you have a
free slot for a canon character.
To be clear, as of 750 posts, you now have:
-
three characters to do whatever you want with
-
one low powered character for either b-team or HIVE
-and
one slot for a canon character,
or another character
Furthermore, there are requirements to play a canon character in the first place. This is a little different. You will use the normal template for a character, but what we really need are the powers, equipment, and personality of the character. This doesn't mean you skip everything else. But those are most important. Don't come complaining to us later when your character has a piece of tech they want to use but you forgot to list it there.
Above all of these requirements is a play test. You will submit a roleplay scenario of you using that character. We will be analyzing to the best of our abilities the personality of that character. If you aren't able to play the part, then you're not getting the character. That doesn't mean you get them permanently either.
Here's the really important rule.
You are constantly being evaluated as a canon character. Hey, this is a roleplaying site. Playing a small variation of the character is to be expected. But if you're pulling some completely irrelevant bullcrap with the character in terms of their personality, it's gonna get taken.

- I think the ideal way to handle it is for them to reappear with no leads, so there's no silly plot that the site get's involved in that only really effects a few people while it still gives the cannon/returning OC a chance to rp finding out about the things they missed and whatnot. Winners all around.
