Busses are Expensive (B-Team)

Reese was shouldered into the room with a look of absolute dread on her face. It was of the meetings for kids who already had their powers relatively figured out, and now here she was. Skateboard in hand, not a scratch on her, but an absolutely destroyed bus outside. As far as anyone could tell, she'd been skating around when a bus lost the breaks and rammed her into a street light. She was completely fine, and thus her durability was exposed to the school. It kinda sucked, actually.

After all this time of trying to keep it on the down low, Reese was now stuck in the B-101 class. At least, until they got this whole thing sorted out. And boy oh boy, she just couldn't wait to be the new bullet sponge for the team. She sat herself in a seat toward the back and crossed her arms, her board leaning against the desk.

Titus was beginning to drift off,sleepier then usual. He'd been spending his  nights staying up so he could help Hus sister if she needed it. To be honest, he was really worried about her...The boy was thinking of accompanying her when she goes out.But for now, a nap....Startling as someone comes in, he looks up, waving shyly at the girl that came in.

Bump

Another new girl walked in after the blue haired skater. She had seen the bus in the parking lot and was staring at Reese with wide, awe stricken eyes as they walked to the same class. The class for the special cases. If there were people like her in this class, then what was Kyoshi supposed to do? All she could do was transform into a useless weapon. Unless there was someone in here that needed a sword or something, she was practically worthless.

The girl sighed and went to the back of the room as well, pulling out her 3DS to start playing Mario Kart on. She was staring down at her screen with absolute concentration, her tongue sticking through her lips just slightly. The red head growled lightly as she fell behind and then gasped and looked determined as she caught up. Though she may not have said anything, her expressions said every word that needed to be spoke.

Reese was in the front of the room, not paying any attention to most people passing her by. Instead she reached into her hoodie and pulled out her own DS. Lets see, Phoenix Wright...Fire Emblem is fun...meh, Mario Kart seems good. She ended up joining a local race, seeing as kids in this school played their DS a ton during their classes. Unlike most however, Reese didn't even bother to turn down the volume. "WAAAAAALUIGI!"

She smirked and tossed a blue shell that she'd picked up, blowing past Kyoshi for the second time in the same race.

Kyoshi pouted as she was passed by the same person again and growled to herself. She brought her knees up and leaned back in her chair, staring at her screen with a fiery determination in her eyes. She used a Super star to kick herself into gear and grinned as she caught up with this Luigi character. Then something clicked. That girl's 3ds in front of her was matching exactly how the Waluigi's screen should be sounding. The red head smiled softly, knowing that there was someone else in her class that was playing with her, even if she didn't realize it.

Just as they were about to cross the finish line, Kyoshi leaned a little too far in her chair and toppled over completely. Reese would see Princess Peach veer off the course complete as a squeal came from behind her. Kyoshi had bumped her head pretty hard against the wall and started to tear up, sucking on her bottom lip. She had been biting it while playing and when she hit her head, she bit almost all the way through it. Now there was blood pouring, but she didn't want to draw attention to herself still. So she got up and ran out the door, a trail of blood following her down the hall to the nearest girl's restroom.

Reese blinked as the strange series of events unfolded. "...The hell?" She got up slowly and followed the trail of blood on her skateboard. Either A someone was insanely hurt, or B someone was having the worst period ever. She was definitely going with option A.

She walked in and looked around for whoever was in pain. "Hey, you okay in here?" She asked, rolling around and looking for the girl. "I saw you run out, are you alright? Did you crack your head or something?"

Kyoshi was in the bathroom in front of the mirror, spitting up blood. She saw Reese and blushed brightly, trying to wave her off. Though, she did give her a thumb's up to let her know she was okay. She then blinked, realizing that this girl was the one that played Waluigi and smiled to her the best she could with her busted lip. She tried to think of how to say that she was playing too, and that she was Princess Peach, but she had left her DS in the classroom. She spit up a little more blood and thought.

The girl used her hands like she was playing Mario Kart and then pointed to herself, mouthing the words 'Princess Peach' and giggled. Kyoshi bit her lip, and then winced, growling at her stupidity. She rubbed her arm and didn't know how to proceed after that. Hopefully the girl would understand what she was trying to say.

Reese stared at her in confusion. She didn't get off her board, she didn't really move much at all. She just raised her eybrow. "Alright, charades. Got it." She got into a mock ready stance. "One word...racecar...Nascar...Pontiac..." Evidently she had no idea what the girl was trying to do, and she silenced her when she mouthed the name of the character.

"No no no, you're breaking the rules of charades. None of that." She scratched her chin. "THE BATMOBILE!"

Kyoshi sighed and just shook her head. She went back to rinsing out the blood in her mouth, looking at her bottom lip to make sure she didn't need stitched. This girl may have been awesome at getting hit, but it seemed that those knock outs made a screw loose in her brain. The smaller girl just smiled to her and gave her a thumbs up as if she had gotten it right.

Just then the bell for first class rang and she blinked, looking one last time at her lip before exiting the restroom. She went back to the class and sat in the back again.

Reese nodded, crossing her arms like she was a genius and knew all along. "So obviously you were hit by the Batmobile and your only injury is the cut on your lip. I'm a god d*mned mastermind." She chuckled and followed her, riding on her board. "So, I'm Reese, what's your name?" And...no answer. She just went back to the back of the room.

Reese shrugged and sat back in her seat from before, kicking her feet up and passing out quickly for the entire class.

Kyoshi just bit her lip, wincing, when she asked what her name was. As they got back to the class, Kyoshi picked up her DS off the ground and sighed, looking up to the front of the class where Reese was. The girl was already asleep. Kyoshi sighed and just took notes... for the both of them. She didn't want to see a fellow classmate fall behind. Maybe she had a long last night. Who was she to judge?

When class was over for lunch, the small red head walked up to Reese and tugged her shirt gently. On the top of the notes it read, -Hi, I'm Kyoshi. I think we played Mario Kart before school today. I was Princess Peach.- She smiled sweetly as she handed it to her, hoping it may do some good. She didn't want to be without any friends.

Reese almost fell out of her chair when she woke up. She rubbed her eyes and looked at the pile of notes...wait, someone gave a crap about her? She looked through it all, then at the note on the top. That explained quite a bit, honestly. Made a lot more sense.

As she stood up and hopped on her board, she started to roll out of the room, hearing someone yell at her to get off the board...so obviously she flipped em the bird and rode faster. She rode around thinking for quite a while, maybe she was hurt and couldn't talk? Probably that darned Batmobile, had to have been. She stopped in the cafeteria and found Kyoshi on her own. She rode over and stopped at her table, holding the notes still. "So...why'd you do these for me?" She asked, tilting her head.

Kyoshi was indeed sitting by herself at the end of one of the long tables, doodling something on a piece of paper. When Reese came over, she smiled up to her softly, blinking when she asked why she did them. The quiet girl looked down and wrote something on the piece of paper she was drawing on. -Because I thought you might need them.-

Reese stood dumbfounded, reading the paper she was writing on. "So what...do you just not talk at all?" She wasn't trying to be rude...that's just kinda how she was. She finally got off her board and stepped on the end closest to her, flipping it up and against the table as she sat down. "I uh...I'm Reese."
