Aladdin Lied to Me ):< (Thr33, Nina, ask)

As he roamed the streets with Seras, Majid was shocked at the state of the world. They were in the center of a gigantic city. Pavement and metal had covered the Earth almost entirely and he found little signs that were really on the same world that he had known in the past. It disgusted him, the blight that seemed to be spreading with humanity.

They eventually arrived at a shop that seemed to be a friend of Seras'. If bringing a new person in would help Seras with her decision, Majid was fine with taking a stop. He needed to be freed from his bondage, from this nation. He still had so many questions. Where had his people gone and what was left of their nation? They were in the wrong part of the world to find out, though, it seemed.

"If it's what you desire...certainly, we can stop here." Majid spoke with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Seras was doing a good job of being bearable, so far, but Majid was becoming impatient. His last 'master' wasted away his wishes almost immediately like a fool. Although Majid wished Seras made a similar mistake, he understood her precautions, recognizing the opportunity.

Majid was curious to see who someone like Seras might befriend, if she was as abnormal as she claimed to be.

The ancient djinn furled his brow at Seras' vernacular. Usually he could understand most references, but it seemed that his disappearance was proving to leave him at a disadvantage. Majid folded his arms, not really looking to compromise his initial impressions as that of an ignorant foreigner, but finally conceding to his seemingly inevitable fate.

Showing his respectful lineage, Majid stuck his arm, after a flourish, into his torso, leaning forward into an appropriate bow a step in front of the new girl. "A pleasure Nina Vulpes. I am known as Majid, the magnificent! The marvelous! The lost son of the lost kingdom of old! At your service, or, rather, at Seras' service."

The djinn arose from his greeting and turned to his master. "I'm afraid I am not familiar with the kitsune. Are the Eastern provinces far from here? Is our next stop to see the kingdom of the kitsunes?"

In Majid's time, there weren't nations other than his own so figuring out their relation to anything else was pointless. Although he knew what cardinal directions were, he definitely had no real idea how large the world really was at this point.

Majid nodded as he listened. The world was a lot bigger since his time, it seemed. Surely there would have been relics of his age uncovered somewhere. He needed to find his home, but he was bound for now.

An excited smile began spreading across Majid's face as the notion of finally granting a wish came up. The djinn folded his arms slowly as he stood in front of the two girls. "Two or three wishes you say? Your wish is my command Seras. Simply speak it, and it will be."

He paused and peered around as there were a few customers still browsing around. Majid straightened his trench coat for a moment before he spoke again. "If we're going to put any of this into action, is there somewhere more private where I could work? I'd prefer to avoid any unneeded attention."

Oddly enough, Nina, the individual that had been called a 'kitsune' created a sort of reflection of herself to hold their spots as she guided Majid and Seras into a more private area, just as he asked. With such power, Majid grew curious. Seras hadn't exactly displayed her abilities for him yet so seeing such miracles was a real treat. It would be interesting to see her full capabilities.

Majid's attention was recaptured as Seras made her wish. The djinn nodded slowly, closing his eyes and remaining silent. As he held lowered his head, a low humming would emit in the room from no definite source. A bright light flashed in the girls' faces, probably blinding them for a moment. The world outside of the room changed as the old building across the street morphed and shifted to perfectly match Seras' schematics.

He then teleported the three of them into a similar private room in the brand new cafe. To people outside of the three of them, the cafe had been open for a few weeks already and they had built a solid clientele, becoming fairly successful already. Once the girls came to, Majid gave a slight bow and popped open the door, revealing his work.

"I trust everything is in order."

Majid wore a stoic face as Seras and Nina checked out his work. Silently he took note to himself. That's one wish down, two till freedom. He nodded slowly as Seras looked to him. He didn't understand the style or architecture that had become popular in modern society. Nothing was practical and everything was accentuated with processed materials. No gold or silver to show their standings in society anymore.

The djinn shadowed Seras as she inspected the area. She seemed happy with everything, she should be after all, it was exactly as she had asked. However, he thought he should be sure. "Perhaps you should try opening the shop and running it to make sure everything's in order. I trust that it is just as you've desired."
