Kuro walked into the Danger Room, looking behind him. It didn't sound like anyone was in the halls. He nodded slightly to himself. Lately he had been training late at night. He was fully supportive of practices with the team, but he also felt he needed improvement in his own areas. He wandered into the middle of the room, and took a seat.
He sat with his legs crossed, seeming almost in meditation. Then he spoke. "Computer. Load simulation tsuna 04539." The computer complied, and then loaded up a rural area with the geographical nature of Japan. He sat in his equipment and gear, adjusting his mask slightly to tighten it, and then laying his swords in his lap.
He waited in a bamboo thicket, remaining still and keeping his eyes forward.
Nothing happened for a long while.
He caught something out of the corner of his eyes, looking deep into the thicket around him. It had looked like something was moving...but even with his eyes, he couldn't see anything. His imagination? He felt an old feeling rising. Apprehension. He saw it again, but again turned to look at it too late. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes.
A dark green shape came zooming out of the thicket to him, swinging an arm at him. He snapped his eyes open and moved out of the way, lunging to the side and rolling to his feet. Before he could stand, the man was before him, bringing a knee into his face. He grunted, freeing one of his blades to strike him roughly in the stomach with the pommel, causing the man to grunt as well. He grabbed him and shocked him, causing him to violently convulse before dropping to the ground. Numerous shapes came rushing out of the forest at him. He threw his blades up into the air, spinning under a kick and bringing his elbow roughly into a man's ribs. He extended his fingers into points, jabbing points and disabling the men nearby and causing them to collapse as the other men came in.
