A Simple Job (open)

JaK regaining his composure steadily, would watch the animal drop to the floor after being kicked into the side of the building. If it wasn't dead, every bone in it's body was broken. Then seeing Dar running towards the man, he would rip the door off the hinges of the police car he was next to and within one movement JaK flings it like a frisbee at Dar's hip; hoping to either trip him up nail him in the kidneys.

"Oh no you don't!"

The car door hit Dar on the hip, making him stumble for a moment as he regained his ballance. So, the kid was up again. Dar picked up the car door and threw it at the last policeman, who was able to duck under it to avoid injury.

Which one to kill first? The punk seemed like more fun, so Dar decided to kill the last officer quickly. Realizing that he was standing right next to the disabled and terrified officer Connor, Dar picked the man up with both hands and ran at the last cop. He lifted Connor above his shoulder and then swung him down like a club at the last cop. Both men screamed as they collided at break-neck speed.

Looking up from the bloody mess, Dar smiled at the punk. "Your turn."

JaK's facial expression would change from confident to a bit of worry, this guy was a bit more than he interpretted from the beginning. He was EXTREMELY durable! Sage was no slouch either, there's a reason why he was leader of Titan's East, but he could recognize when he was outmatched. His strength depended on habitat and right now, his habitat consited of wooden planks and squad cars that this guy was ripping apart like lawn chairs. After presing the distres beacon on his communicator, JaK would turn back to his foe. Now all he had to do was hold out and that seemed like a much easier task than trying to win. As Dar approached, JaK reached inside each of the now abandoned police cruisers and grabbed two shot guns; cocking them with each arm. For a normal man the kick from the gun would dislocate thier shoudler if they tried to use it with one hand, but with JaK's metallic finish; the kick wouldn't feel like much of anything to him.

"You want me, come and get me!"

JaK would then back away from Dar as he apporoached, unleashing load after load of fire on Dar's knee caps. The idea wasn't to hurt him, JaK knew he could do that, but to slow him down and the kick from a shot gun shell to the leg would keep this dude at bay; at the very least.

Dar winced as the shotgun rounds hit him continuously in the knees. At this close range, they were very powerful, and he felt the muscles in his thighs strain against the pounding force of impact. He was afraid that his knee might break.

He jumped behind one of the cars for cover, then picked it up and used it as a shield. He kept it only a few inches off the ground. With all the hurt cops around, Dar doubted the punk would try to blow up the car, as it would probably kill some of those weaklings.

The downside was that he couldn't see the kid, only hear the shotguns going off.

After emptying the shot gun's of their ammunition, JaK would released his metallic covering. It was dented and haggered anyway, not to mention it had missing pieces as from which he could be attacked. No, he needed to armor up again and he knew exactly what to use. As he reached into the police cruiser again, he would pop the trunks of the cars and search until he found what he was looking for.

"Bingo, ammunition."

Not just any live rounds mind you, JaK was looking for sniper rifle shell casings. He knew these officers practiced at the shooting range and might have the newest models of weaponry on them. Even if they weren't aloud to use them on the job. One of the cops was packing a snipe, who's casings could pierce through a bullet proof vest, glass, and put a precision deep dent in tank armor. An assassin's DREAM, these were the same rounds that Gotham's Deadshot used on his victims. Sage would then toss one shell up into into the air and absorb it's properties, now he was durable enough break through tank armor after clocking it a few times and was definitely able to withstand a single blow from this guy without being afraid of ya know...Dieing. Though, like a regular human, a good shot to any vital area would still take him down. Like the chin for example, especially now that JaK's injured. So it'd probably still be best to keep away from direct hits as much as possible and by as much as posible, that means NOT AT ALL.

"Ok buddy, now it's go time! Gimmie ALL you got!"

Probably not the best choice of words...

With the shotguns down, Dar peeked to the side of the car long enough to see the kid cover himself in a new substance. The kid taunted him, and Dar responded by throwing the car at him.

With JaK's strength now enhanced, he catches the said vehicle; but is unable to stop it's momentum as he goes sliding back. Though, after a few seconds he would come to a squealing halt as the metallic soles of his feet scraped across the wooden platform and put down the cruiser. After which time, he would hop into the car through the window, seeing the key was in the ignition and stomp on the gas pedal; veering down the dock towards Dar at high speeds.

Dar saw the car driving towards him at high speed. That could hurt...

Dar jumped in the air as the car got close, kicking the window in with both feet and catching the kid in the chest.

As just as Dar grabbed onto JaK and was about to slug his head off. Sage grabbed the pistol laying in the passenger seat next to him and opened fire on Dar's face. Aiming for his eye sockets, this of course wouldn't hurt Dar; but at the same time it didn't really matter, for soon the speeding vehicle was about to crash into the side of a warehouse where they fixed boats that came in to dock.

Raven was flying overhead towards another promising lead. Supposedly more of the herbs he was looking for were in the eastern part of the continent, some were essential to complete the portal home. In his cloak, he glimpsed the flash of red from his brooch flashing as he picked up a distress signal from a titan. Raven guessed in this dimension the signal the titans used for their communicators were the same as in his dimension. That's why he could still receive the same signals. Looking down, he saw what had activated it.

A police car was zooming down the pier towards the side of a warehouse, containing a boy with a gun and a man standing on the hood of the car with his foot digging into the boy's torso. Through the gaping hole where the windshiled had once been, Raven saw a large hole on the boy's chest. He was covered in some silvery substance, but the hole revealed his black coat and a nasty tear that was exhibiting a bloody wound.
The boy looked close to unconscious, far too damaged to send the signal out himself, perhaps the man had kicked his communicator and activated it accidentally.

He couldn't be sure which of the two were the bad guy, so instead of immediately attacking one, he held out his hands.

"Azaroth Metrion ZYNTHOS"

A black rectangle flashed on the concrete ground stretching out before the dock, and then exploded upward to block the speeding car. The airbags went off and stopped the man in the car from suffering any more damage, the man on the hood of the car however, flew off of the car as it deccelerated immediately. Raven grabbed him with his powers and dropped him to the ground. One was winded, the other close to unconscious, lovely.
Raven landed on top of the rectangle, surveying the broken mangled bodies of police officers, and the wreckage of other cars. Whoever the villain was, he had to be stopped.

"Alright, who's to blame?" He said, glaring between the two.

Inside the car, the boy sat up, clutching his chest and wincing. He picked up a piece of the shattered silver coating and popped the airbag with it.

On the other side of the wall, the man in the armor just grinned maniacally.

JaK would open the car door and roll out of it, as he did so bits and pieces of his shattered armor would fall from his body. How tough was this guy, jeez!?! No arrmor seemed strong enough to fully take blows from him...Though the fractured area was small and was only about the size of where his shoes heel had connected, while the rest was just cracked. The fact remianed, Sage was mismatched here. Though, if his ribs were aching him and his lower bowls weren't internally bleeding; his fight training could've made up for the one sidedness of the battle at the moment and who was this new perosn who had just saved him from flying out the window? Did he respond to the titans alert?

"Umph, hold on...I can't see your face. I'm Sage of the Teen Titans."

As Sage's vision came back to him, he would see Dar was behind the boy approaching with malice written all over his face.

Dar walked back towards where the car had stopped, only to hear the punk call himself Sage, of the Teen Titans. So that was why he was so tough. Dar guessed that the new arrival was also a Titan. If the Titans started arriving in mass, then Dar's defeat was a sure thing.

Dar stopped approaching the car and started backing away.

"I'm sure you will want to get these cops to a hospital. Some of them may survive, assuming that you get them help right away." Dar started running away as fast as he could, aiming for the shadowy streets nearby. "It was a good fight, Sage. We should have another one someday."

OOC: Just realized, we both speak in purple.... problematic..

Raven held out his hands again and muttered: "Azaroth Metrion Zynthos"

The girders were pulled off the roof of the nearest warehouse and wrapped around the large man, who sagged only slightly under their weight.

"You can stay here while we get these cops over to the hospital. and don't worry, I'll be able to find you now."
Raven said to him. "You." He called, turning towards the man by the car. "Can you walk?"

The man stood slowly, leaning against the car for support.
"gahh, not really" he grunted and a look of pain spread across his face. Raven felt much more sympathetic for this man, he was only trying to stop the villain and he had gotten the worse end of the bargain.

Raven walked over to him and helped him into the least damaged police cruiser, turning to levitate the other police officers on slabs of concrete towards the car. He glanced quickly at the man who had caused all this, and saw him bending the girder off himself, a furious look on his face.

OT: Actually Canace if you heard what he just said, he said we needed to get the cops to a hospital. It's kind of UN-heroic if you have your char keep fighting when there's injured civillians everywhere.
