Steven Universe Main Thread (AU)

Serpentine seemed to have other problems at the moment and Tanazanite would usually take this window to head back to the temple, but she was worried. Not only were there now three new gems, but two were homeworld, they had mentioned Yellow Diamond, and they are looking for something as well. Tanzanite had a history with homeworld gems and knew when they wanted something it would usually end up harming others.
Before she even counted down, Obsidian and Daimond went to destroy the wall, making Tanzanite chuckle. Even in times like these she always seemed level headed.

The tall gem would look up at Serpentine and shake her head. "I'm sorry, but we can't let you leave, we can't repeat history." Tanazanite told them, putting her hand out. "You can come willingly though." She said calmly.

At this, DragonOpal dropped down from Serpentine's shoulders and glared at the tall gem. She began to laugh incredibly hard and looked up at Serpentine. "These guys are jokes!!! Pleaseeeeee can I at least set the tall one on fire!?!" DragonOpal asked Serpentine, not being able to believe how stupid these gems were.

It seemed like everyone was a bit eager to fight, a little to eager. She never resulted to violence, even in times like these it wasn't a clear option. But could she risk them escaping only to tell more homeworld gems about what they know? They had already mentioned Yellow Diamond, and that terrified Tanzanite.
The calm gem looked at her loyal companion and Dai, weighing the outcome. She took a deep breath and looked at Serpentine.

"No. Violence shouldn't be our first mode of action. You haven't proven to be a real threat, just an unwelcome reminder." She said calmly, placing her hand on her gem absent mindlessly. Maybe it was worth the risk to see what they were doing, then to take action without a thorough reason.

Meanwhile, DragonOpal stuck out her tongue, pulling her flamethrower from her gem. She eagerly pointed it at the other gems, awaiting Serpentine's orders.
She'd roll her eyes at the short one who laughed way too long. "And people say I'm annoying..."

Bump!

Tanzanite watched as they went and turned back to the other two gems. "Thank you both for understanding." She told them kindly, watching as the homeworld gems left. "You are fine Obsidian. You did nothing wrong." Tanzanite reassured thinking of their next move. She didn't want to fight, but they needed to find out what they were doing and why they were here. Homeworld gems do not come here simply for Holiday, they come when they need or want something. Tanzanite knew she would have to figure out what it is.
"Diamond. I need you to do us a favor, you do not have to if you do not wish to." She began, looking behind herself real quick. "I need for you to track them down and follow them, without getting caught." She asked, hoping he would follow. "Obsidian and I would be back at the temple waiting for you." When she finished, she'd wait for his response before heading back to the temple.

Dragon Opal would lead Serpentine up to a point and turn around. "Alright, Yellow Diamond told me they had another project growing to see if they could grow gems out of trees. Earth stuff." She told him, leading the way to the next warp pad. "They only tried one, so this one might be a bit scrawny." Dragon explained as they got onto the warp pad and warped over to a land filled with trees.
She'd twist and turn until they got to an opening that had one giant tree in the center. Everything was sticky from the sap that was... well.. everywhere. There was also some really old gem tech lying around. Dragon Opal would make her way over to a control center and attempt to turn it on.

"This blasted old gem technology! How do I turn it on!" She yelled out angrily.
