Akari blinks as the little boy telelports away.She then smiles briefly at Netic." It was nice meeting you.I'd like to work together sometime....Um, I'm going to go now...I have to prepare, and theres still work nedding doing.Bye, and thanks for being so nice." She blurs away. Was she endangering herself? Yah. But that was her job..her duty...
Later that day, a few hours from the appointed time, the half demon girl stands in front of the mirror, examining the way she's dressed.She was clad in a sleeveless, long enough to be dress like, pale white tunic, wearing a pair of bike shorts underneath that, and had her tanto in a pouch on her belt, along with her communicator. She may have to dressup, but she didn't have to be unready for a fight.Akari briefly touches the marks on her throaght, then grabs a scarf, wrapping it around her neck, walking out the door of her room and beaming when she spots Ruin." Hey, Pack brother!How do I look?"She grins, giving a twirl, making the tunic hem flow around her knees." I look good, right?"The big smile fades a little, and she  nervously adjusts the bangle on her wrist." Um....I'm a bit worried....I have to go on this date, but....well, this is my first date, and I don't want to hurt the kidsvfeelings...Anyways, do you think you could maybe go with, and set out a stake out, just in case I need help?" She really was worried, and besides, Ruin made her feel safe....That was the only reason, yep...

After a while Ruin rolled out of the bush and slowly walked home with his head hung low. When he got back home he saw Akari and blushed heavily when seeing her in a dress. She looked  stunning and just so amazing there were were real words to describe how amazing she looked. When she asked though he cleared his throat and tried to act cool. "You looked amazing Akari though you probably could pull any look off."

He said giving a timid smile. She then asked him to go with her to watch her from a far to keep her safe. He then nodded "Y-yeah... I'll make sure your date goes all right and that your'e safe..." he wanted to wish that he was able to make himself wish that her date went horrible to make sure she didn't fall for the guy but knew that was mean and horrible. Someone who would wish for that wasn't the kind of guy she deserved. so for now he would be a great friend an help her out while wishing he had the guts to say that he liked her.

he then thought about what jimmy said then grabbed Akari's shoulders looking at her seriously. "Akari please don't go on this date, i heard the guy talking to himself. He's clearly crazy! that and he's planning on making it a trap. If you still want to go i'll follow and protect you but please don't go I dont want you getting hurt!" he said in a pleading voice.

OOC: Forgive me for posting out of turn, but I feel like Nano Donna needs something to do. I'm also going to change my spot in the posting order. From now on, it will go HB, Energy, me, and then Nano.

Akari and Jimmy left Nathen standing alone, fixing his leg. But a few moments later, a new figure approached the cyborg.

"Funny things, these mortal bodies. They just keep falling apart, and we have to keep fixing them. Unfortunately, they never seem to go back quite right." A tall, white haired woman walked up to Nathen. "Then again, perhaps you're happy for that. Your prosthetics give you powers, don't they? You probably wouldn't want your original arm or leg back. Am I right? Isn't it better to be more than a mere human?"

The young woman smiled. She wasn't trying to sound smug, but lost limbs were often a touchy subject.

Netic looked up at the woman as h put her screwdriver away, when the woman said, 'You probably wouldn't want your original arm and leg back.' he gave her a quire look, "On the contrary ma'ma, I would much rather have gotten a broken arm and leg from my accident instead of disconnected ones." he said fixing the glove one his left hand, "If that had happened I wouldn't have been taken out of basketball for *air quotes* 'Having an advantage'." Netic held out his hand, being the kind person that he is, to greet the woman, "I'm Netic, by the way, what's your name?" he asked.

Akari reddens, grinning happily as Ruin compliments her.*Yes!He thinks I looks amazing!!*She tucksva stray bit of hair behind her ear, smiling." Thanks...and thanks also for agreeing to watch out for me.....I'm...glad...youre willing to look over me like that..." Then, he warns her." What....?" She breathes in, thinking.".I......I don't have a choice. If its as you say, hell just come after me, or go after a girl that isn't as powerful... I need to go...But thanks...Thank you for being worried about me...." She stands on her tip toes, giving him a kiss on the cheek.Akari, looking into his eyes and seeing the worry, de ides to relieve it with some teasing. One corner of her mouth quirks up, and she pokes him lightly in the chest, her eyes gleaming mischievously." So, you were already watching, huh?Practicing ninja techniques?" She giggles, giving him a hug." Don't worry....I'll be fine, especially with you watching out for me,okay,?Now, we gotta go..."
Later, they 'pull up' on Lightning Fang, stopping outside the door of the Silver Spoon, and Akari hops off, clutching her pendant and thinking at her wolf.*Please, keep him safe, will you?* :I will, my cub. You be safe too..: The halfling girl nods, turning and looking at Ruin.*Go ahead, tell him!!* "I.......I'm really glad you're a member of my pack.. If I don't make it back, tell them I said goodbye, alright?" *I'll tell him if I get out of this...honest...* She breathes in, bracing herself and looking for her date at as she walks through the door.

He blushed hard when she kissed him on the cheek and held his cheek then blushed more as he was caught spying on her. "Well one can't be too careful and never have too many friends looking out for them right?" he scratched the back of his head laughing nervously thinking 'Moron! You so didn't just friend zone yourself!'

He then blinked then though when hugged and smiled a bit hugging her back "Right..." on the way there he gave himself a pep talk to tell her his feelings he had to before the date just in case. when she talked he looked worried but then took a deep breath and closed his eyes and spoke.

"Im sorry I know this is bad timing but i have to tell you this now! I love you! I have ever since we met and I saved you! You've made me nothing but happy since we met! Please me my mate!" After a long silence her opened his eyes afraid she took it poorly but saw an old woman blushing holding her cheeks.

"Oh well I'm sorry child but I'm far too old for you and married" An old man then sent a flying kick to Ruins face kicking hi off the wolf and picked up the old woman bridal style "lets go babe!" "oh Johnathan!" he then slowly walked away hunched over. Ruin rubbed his face where he had been hit and sighed. "Of course the one time i say it to her its to the wrong girl and shes not there to hear." He then climbed back on the wolf.

The white-haired woman shook Netic's hand. "I'm Dara. I have something to offer you. Something you want. I can give you your arm and leg back. Real flesh and blood, as good as new. I don't want to trick you, but of course I'd like something in return. I won't sugar-coat it, either. My favor is going to hurt, possibly a lot. But at the end of it, you will still be alive, and I will heal all your injuries, which will include regenerating your lost limbs."

Dara paused, allowing both the mystery of the task and the awe of the reward to intermix. Hopefully, in Netic's mind, he would assume the worst, that this was some sort of deal with the devil. That would make the actual request seem better by comparison.

"You will not need to hurt anyone. Not seriously, anyway. I want you to fake an attack on Akari Okami, the Lightning Wolf. We both know you know where she will be tonight at 7. The Silver Spoon. Of course, Akari is no weakling, which is why you will have help. You will make it seem like you intend to physically harm Akari. Your true mission, however...is to be defeated by Shivering Jimmy of the Shallow Brigade, the...'boy' that she will be dining with. Jimmy must 'save' Akari from you. That is what I wish to accomplish. Of course, there is risk involved. Jimmy is not part of this plan. He might hurt you. He might hurt you a lot. But you will survive, because I can heal you."

Dara grinned. "Well?"

Later, at the Silver Spoon, a waiter escorted Akari to the table where a man sat waiting for her. Shivering Jimmy seemed to have grown up about 14 years since they had spoken earlier that day. He was now a dashing young man, thin but well-built. Still, it was undeniably him. He even had a red balloon tied to each of their chairs. The waiter didn't seem to care. He'd been given his tip in advance.

"My dear, thank you for coming." Jimmy stood when she arrived, and sat again only when she did. "Please, take your time with your order. They have quite a wide selection of fine food. Don't take too long, though. It's so good you won't want to wait." A slightly creepy look appeared in his eyes as he said that last sentence. "I don't know about you, but I'm just..." his eyes got a little creepier, his grin a little too wide. "Starving."

His face quickly reverted back to that of a normal, charming person. "So tell me, if crime disappeared and the earth was completely safe, what would you do with all your time?"

After Dara introduced herself then gave her first statment Netic crossed his arms and thought, 'What, do I have be her slave for all eternity, or something?' When he heard that all he had to do was fight with both Lightning Wolf and Jimmy his face showed a bit of interest, "Will I still have my robotics for the fight?" he said, "Because if I don't their will be no point in me doing this at all."

Akari blinks when seeing Jimmys new form."........was that earlier form a illusion, or or are you a shape shifter?" She 
smiles, sitting down.*alright, girl, let's be careful. Who knows what he's got planned?* The half demon girl smiles." Thank you for this." She looks at the menu, missing the creepyness, lucky for Jimmy. Akari orders a octopus, crab, and Swai medley platter, and looks at Jimmy, answering his question." Well...I'm not sure...I'd probably just continue fighting evil elsewhere, but I might go into music." She laughs sheepishly, her face reddening in embarrassment." Uhm...people tell me I have a good voice..."

Katie Landy was suffering another day at school, she absolutely hated it there, it was bad enough that she had no friends, what was worse was that she had so many enemies. Well, enemies was a strong term, that would suggest that she had done anything to deserve the antagonistic way which most of the popular clique girls treated her.

That was what was going through her mind as she handed her lunch money over to a girl who had thrown her lunch all over Katie's shirt, the money was for the girl to get a new lunch, probably just to throw at another girl, if not at Katie again.

If she were to fight back against this treatment, she most definitely would win; even without taking her powers into consideration, she was still a foot taller than the other girl. But because of her nature, she didn't do anything, she just handed over the lunch money. The girl sneered and turned around sharply so that her bag hit Katie before walking off. Katie sighed and started cleaning her shirt.


A few hours later, she did the finishing touches on her homework before putting it away, then she sneaked out of her room and kept on walking, keeping to shadowy alleyways so that no one could see her. When she was a good mile away from her neighbourhood, she stopped in one of the alleyways she was useing to sneak away and swapped her clothes for a pair of jeans that were good for fighting in, a bulletproof vest and a hoodie.

She placed a mask on her face before bringing up the hood of the hoodie so that alot of her face was obscured; the hoodie had a big 'K' on it. Katie then jumped out of the alleyway onto the roof of the building. She then smiled, taking on the persona of Kicker as she started her patrol around the restaurant area, where the Silver Spoon was.

Dara grinned at Netic. "Of course. You have to earn your payment, after all. You will need your robotics. It will be one last, glorious fight, and you have nothing to fear. Our goal is to lose. How can we fail?"

Hours later, at the Silver Spoon, Jimmy laughed. "Hmmm, let's see. Illusions or shape-shifting?" Technically, both were true. Even Jimmy's current form could be considered an illusion, although a physical one. Jimmy could change his appearance somewhat at will, so it might be correct to call him a shape-shifter as well. "I suppose it's something like that," he said at length, keeping the answer vague. "I'm magic. That's really all there is to it."

Akari ordered a bunch of food, which was expected. Half-demons were notorious for having an insatiable hunger. That was fine. Jimmy could make gold out of dirt. Money wasn't an issue.

Jimmy's eyes widened when he heard she liked to sing, and that people thought she was good. "You should sing for me, then. Why don't you do it now?" The awkwardness of the request was lost on Jimmy.

"I'm afraid she'll be otherwise occupied," a deep, manly voice said. Two red-haired men stood behind Akari. One of them was Nathan. The other man, the one who had spoken, wore a formal suit and wielded a longsword. It was Priscus, the Knight of Pride, and servant of Dara. "She is of demon blood, and must be slain at once. But do not worry, she will sing to you from the afterlife."

There was a flash of steel as the longsword slashed at Akari.

(K, guys. Its been awhile since Banks been on, so iguess I'll skip her. I'm sorry, Nano. And so long as Es Charrie isn't referenced or referred to, she's also fine with being skipped.^^)

Akari blinks as Jimmy requests she sing, and reddens." Here?! But..uhm...right now?" The girl thinks about it, only to be interrupted as a sword streaks along her back,cutting the back of her tunic dress open. She gasps, standing up and jumping, flipping in air and landing in a crouch as she pulls her tanto. Blinking in surprise at Netic, she shakes her head." You? I....I thought you were a hero..." Then she looks at the the knight." Bigot! I may be of demon blood,but you're the one swinging swords at people just because of what runs through their veins!"She's suddenly knocked back by a attack from Netic(Im assuming energy blast) and sent crashing into a wall, hitting it hard enough to stun her. She lowly gwets back up,groaning.

Meanwhile, a dark form stares down at the city streets with golden eyes. Fate weaver knew she didn't know this city that well yet, but she would learn...Spotting a form, she jumps,using trap thread to slow her fall and landing quietly behind kicker, straightening her tunic."Are you hero, or villain?"

Katie, or Kicker as she was much more better known as, dashed through the air using her powers, actually kicking off against the air to perform several consecutive jumps which resulted in her moving very fast through the air. She kept on doing that, looking out at all the points in her patrol as she moved along. While she stopped to take a break, someone approached her from behind and asked if she was a hero or a villain, Katie just laughed Wow, you must not read newspapers or watch the news or anything, the names Kicker and I'm a hero, of course if I was a villain I could just as easily lie about being a hero to get your guard down she heard some kind of commotion and zoomed over to go look at it.
