Call them what you will.....Ghosts, demons, spirits, youkai, the Fey....There's certain beings in this world that pass unseen by all but those who are blessed, or cursed, with certain abilities, be they granted by training or at birth. These people are called Guardians. They watch over the not so dead, giving them a place to live, and making sure they don't cause trouble, sometimes hiring out to stop darkened spirits from harming innocents....Their home is called.....Ghost Mansions!!!!!Welcome to a ghostly adventure!!!!

Name: Lykos "Wolf" Makhaira
Age:16(at death)
Abilities:Most common ghost abilities, such as being invisible to normal people, flying, floating through solid walls, and being invincible to standard weaponry. He also can summon his favorite sword to strike down other spirits, and he gains wolfish aspects when angered.Also, since he's a spirit, he can deform his body(often for giggles)He's highly skilled with both his bare hands and his sword, and though he can't cut humans with his sword, a strike from it cuases a intense burning sensation.
Equipment:His summonable sword:Lykos dónti zó̱ou He also, strangely, wears modern clothing, unless he's angered. In which case he switches back to the armor he wore so long ago.
Personality:He's very impudent, often cracking jokes at the expense of others. However, he's loyal to his friends, no question. Confronted with true evil, he becomes deadly serious, putting his warrior training to full use.He enjoys pranks, and scaring others.(he is a ghost, after all)And, despite the fact he can't eat, he loves the smell of seafood.
History:A young Greek Warrior died on the shore of a strange land. A family found his battered remains, and did him the honor of putting him among the deceased relatives of that family. As time went on, he became known as a Guardian Spirit, watching over the young and helpless of that family. But, generations later, the family is slaughtered by a demon, and Lykos takes to randomly roaming, searching for the monster that robbed him of his purpose.......

Name: Solomon Grey

Age: 26

Abilities:
-Honed Reflexes- Solomon reacts to danger far faster than a normal human. He can even dodge bullets from a single source, with a great effort.
-True Sight- Solomon can see invisible things.
-Ghost Killer- Any weapon Solomon holds gains the ability to harm ghosts and other intangible creatures. The weapon only keeps this quality as long as he is holding it. This applies to bullets fired from a gun. If things get really desperate, this also applies to his fists.

Equipment:
-Vintage 6-shooter Revolver
-Plenty of ammunition
-Dagger (sharp, don't touch)
-Black Victorian apparel, coat, and top hat

Personality: Dry as a cracker and just as humorless. Solomon is a serious man. He remains focused on the task at hand, and will remind others to do the same. He will consider and voice concerns about potential threats, even those that might seem absurd.

History: His family was killed by ghosts when he was a child, and he has spent the rest of his life learning how to destroy the creatures. It was not an easy education. In fact, his obsession with ghosts almost placed him in a mental hospital, but he was able to talk his way out of it. Eventually, he found the journal of a ghost hunter who lived during the Victorian age. Solomon has made every effort to replicate the man's techniques, going so far as to even dress like him. Along his journey, he has had to deal with several other kinds of creatures. He has usually done so by putting bullets in their heads.

Name: Jasmine Johnson

Age: (at time of death) 17

Abilities: As a ghost, she has all the standard abilities of a ghost. These include intangibility to anything in the living realm (except for things designed for the purpose of harming ghosts), invisibility (She can turn visible if she chooses to, but is unlikely to do so without good reason) and she can change shape, but this is only good for intimidation.

Equipment: None

Personality: Jasmine was happy in life, but after her death she went into a huge depression, she's recovered somewhat, but her personality has still been changed so that she is much sadder than in life. She does not interact with people and generally tries to avoid them.

History: Jasmine was going home from a party with her friends, when a drunk driver accidentally drove into them. The group of girls were hospitalised, but Jasmine was injured the worst and didn't make it. At first, she didn't actually realise that she was a ghost, so she tried to talk to people but they didn't see her. She didn't realise this until she saw all her friends at her own funeral, where she broke down into tears, for hours after the funeral, anyone who came close enough could hear her tears if they listened closely enough.

Name: Hope

Age:16 Human Years = 84 Cat Years [At Death]

-  Normal ghost abilities such as walking through walls, flying, being invisible to normal humans, and the like.

- Being a young Hellcat, Hope is able to manipulate Ice-Fire to a low degree. He can spew out flames of freezing temperatures, which would be capable of freezing the target with ice burns that are more severe than normal burns. The range of this however is twelve feet.

- Because of his feline form his ghostly senses is greatly increases, making him more aware of anything around him. This helps him move swift and becomes more agile to the point of dodging a bullet from a signal source.

Equipment: Wears a old cat collar that was given by his late owners.

Personality:

Hope, the biggest defining trait about this ghastly feline. That all will be well for him. Even in the throes of death hope never left his heart. Hope is an empathic creature, always reassuring others that all will be well. Loyal, kind, and with a happy outlook Hope is the cat you would want in your darkest hours.

History:
in the beginning of his life, he was born in a box left alongside the road. He was cold and hungry. But he had Hope that someone would find him, give him a warm home and a lot of love.

Someone did come, however he was brought to a cold place with a lot of noise and placed into a cage. Many weeks passed but as always he had Hope that he would find a forever home. When someone did finally come he was happy for only a little while. For when his owner brought him home, there was a break in that night by an theif. He spent several days with the still bodies of his owner until the police came and brought him back to a different pound.

A year pass in that cold environment with the only company being hissing cats. All will be well he thought. That he would be loved and be given a lot of treats. His hopes were answered, one day a family adopted him. The future had looked bright for Hope, until a house fire brought him back to the unforgiving cage. Despite this he still have hope in his heart.

A few years pass, Hope have been relocated to many pounds across the country. Several families have attempted to adopt him only to end in him returning to the pound as if his existence was bad luck.

Until one day something changed. Two teenagers came in and adopted him. He was put in a box in the back of a pickup truck. They drove a bit along a dusty road till they stop for a bit. The teens both got outside and both began to drink beer. Hope was still in the box happy, hoping that he would finally have a forever home.

Suddenly he felt the box falling over, resulting him to tumble about. When his bearing he poke his head out to see the truck driving away. Hope assumed they must have forgotten the box falling off. So they will come back to find him so Hope waited.

His Hope had never waver for nine years, that his owners will come back and give him a lot of love. Even in his final breaths he had hope that he would be loved, warm, and be told that all will be well. So as if some sort of poetic fate, he would die on the side on the road cold and alone just like when he was born. This time he passed away from the world with a smile on his face.

If one would come across this road, they might catch a glimpse of an ghostly cat just sitting there, waiting for the day for someone to take him to his forever home.

Name: Tsuchimikado Ruri
Age: 14

Abilities: Ruri is an onmyouji. She can use paper talismans to make purification barriers/spells and protective wards. They are especially effective against evil spirits and other malicious beings. When things get tough, she can use paper dolls to summon her shikigami: a pair of Komainu. It goes without saying that she has a talent for seeing and detecting spiritual phenomena. She is also knowledgeable in rituals that enable restless spirits to pass on.
Equipment: Paper talismans, paper dolls

Personality: Ruri has the personality of a naive child that was suddenly given a harsh reality check on how the world works. She is very thrifty and hates wasting money on anything besides food. She lives by the motto: "People who don't work, don't eat!". Unfortunately, her kindness sometimes gets the best of her and she occasionally ends up doing work for free.

History: Ruri comes from an onmyouji family and was sent to the big city for training with nothing but a train ticket and pocket change. While she is a talented exorcist, she found that work in that field doesn't come by so often. Not to mention, few would trust a kid with such things so she is usually sent away before she can even prove she is capable. As a result, she normally resorts to doing a variety of odd jobs just to get by. It is not uncommon to see her walking around with a grumbling stomach.

Name: Akira Shiryoku
Age: 17
Abilities:
Spiritual Sensitivity - Akira is spiritually sensitive, and has the ability to see and sense the presence of all forms of spiritual creatures. She can also distinguish an evil spirit and a neutral/good one.

High Spiritual Presence - This ability takes the form of an ever present spiritual aura that intensifies when Akira engages herself with or opens herself up to spiritual contact. It will draw the attention of any spirits nearby.

Paranormal Incantations - Akira knows a few incantations to either exorcise and cleanse evil spirits or soothe and put to rest neutral spirits:

-> "Animæquior esto, fili spirit." (Be at peace, mortal spirit.): Akira will utter this phrase when she encounters a neutral/good spirit. It is meant to calm the spirit and relieve it of any irritability, and also serves as a way to greet them.

-> "Requiem aeternam dona mortalium animi." (Rest in peace, mortal spirit.): Akira utters this phrase when she attempts to permanently detach the neutral/good spirit from their spiritual limbo in hopes to send them to the afterlife. Depending on how attached the spirit is to the physical world, it may take several utterances of this incantation along with the previous incantation to succeed in the process.

-> "Obmutesce, malo spiritu." (Be still, evil spirit.): This is a minor exorcism incantation. It is meant to paralyze the opposing evil spirit and cause it slight pain.

-> "Autem effugare, malo spiritu." (Begone, evil spirit): This is a major exorcism incantation. It is meant to cause the evil spirit intense pain and it is an attempt to banish it from existence.

Equipment:
- Prayer Beads: Akira usually has these with her all the time, and will fidget with them if she is nervous, agitated or scared. She wears them as a bracelet on her right wrist.

Personality:
Akira is an introverted girl with a pure-heart and kind soul. She seems shy to people who don't really know her, and in the past she has kept few friends. Those who she is friends with however, she is more open with and is very loyal to. She has a courageous nature and will stand up and fight when needed. Despite this, she is slow to trust people.

History:
Ever since she was a little girl, Akira has always wanted to simply live a normal life. But when you have the ability to see what most others don't, no matter how hard you try, its difficult to push that ability aside and try to focus on the physical realm. This is exactly the struggle that Akira went through during her childhood and most of her teenage years. Ghosts of all kinds would attach themselves to her and follow her around, appearing in her dreams at night and spying on her during the day.

On the eve of her 16th birthday, Akira's phenomenal spiritual energy attracted the attention of a demonic spirit. The demon razed the Shiryoku house, killing Akira's younger sister and father, knocking out her older brother and putting her mother in a coma. The demon attempted to possess Akira for her spiritual energy, but Akira managed to exorcise the spirit out of her body and her house before finally banishing it with self-claimed incantations.

Three months later, her mother woke up from the coma, but was paralyzed from the waist down. Her brother had fully recovered from the incident and agreed to take care of their mother. It was after that event that Akira realized she couldn't run from her fate any longer. After graduating from high school and taking on a part time job, she started honing her skills, deciding to accept the duties of a paranormal investigator and exorcist.
