| A powerful signal reached televisions everywhere, bringing the image of a bright eyed child to the screens. The girl smiled, revealing teeth nearly as yellow as her hair.
"Attention Earth, I, Shivering Jemmy, the Lord of Chaos, hereby announce the first ever Chaos Games. We will be playing a wide variety of sports, following the rules with one exception: all superpowers are allowed. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend: humans, meta-humans, aliens, robots, whatever. Come show us your true potential. If you have a secret identity, you are welcome to wear a disguise. We don't care who you are. You don't even have to tell us your powers. The Chaos Games will be the ultimate expression of freedom. Like I said, everyone is welcome, no matter who you are. All those who attend will be under my personal protection. Besides, who in their right mind would dare attack a gathering of meta-humans, especially one this large? The games begin at High Noon tomorrow, at the Jump City Football Stadium. I'll see you there."
The next day...
Jemmy sat on top of the open roof to the Titans Stadium, a wide grin on her face. A large crowd of meta-humans had shown up, along with a larger crowd of spectators. Combined, they were almost filling up this stadium. There were even people selling concessions that had simply shown up. They must have expected the crowd.
She kept her eyes open for anyone she might know, especially for Hope, who had helped inspire and plan this event.
The games would be starting soon. Jemmy wondered who was going to show up. |

| That night, Hope was finishing up her homework while she was home alone. She turned on the TV to some home improvement show when a familiar face popped up. Hope grinned when she saw Jemmy announcing their lovely idea. Even though being an athlete was Hope's most beloved passion, she had a bad feeling about these games.
The next day Hope threw her backpack strap over her shoulder and ran out the door. She then jogged to the stadium and when she got their, she simply laughed. The whole stadium was almost filled to the brim, this was crazy!? Hope took a deep breath and looked around for the familiar blonde girl. Even though Jemmy didn't tell Hope about having to speak in front of this large stadium, she expected last night she would do so. So currently, Hope wasn't nervous about anything, everything was good in the world.

| "Huh?"
Bio was flipping through channels really quickly bored and procrastinating on homework as hard as he could. He caught sight of a rather young girl smiling at the camera and watched the recording of her advertisement. It was already 11AM!
"Mom! I'm done with my homework!"
His mother sighed,
"No you're not. You better finish when you're done with the hero thing or no dinner."
Bio winced. He loved and needed lots of food way too much to fib any further.
"I'll have it done when I get back home?"
His mother gained no answer, but there was no way Bio was going to miss this. He donned his armor and skated out. When he reached there, the stadium was completely stuffed with people. Walking into the field, he sat down cross-legged and waved to the people gawking at his suited up and rather artistic appearance. He overheard a few recognize him but most were yelling "Who is that guy?!". He had only stopped a few major crimes so far but he spent a lot of time skating around Jump City so he was a well known stranger.

| Itazura blinked in surprise as the television show he was watching was interrupted by a small girl appearing on the screen. He listened closely as the girl described her new game, adding in that everyone attending would be protected. "Right...'cause 'The Chaos Games' sounds totally safe." he muttered to himself, not entirely convinced that there wouldn't be more to the games than what was being announced. "Still, this could be a good opportunity to get my name out in the open, and if anything does go wrong I'll be able to help the most if I'm already there..." the teen continued, having made up his mind.
When the next day rolled around, Scorch walked in through the entrance to the arena, his orange mask covering the lower half of his face. He quickly began to scan the faces of the participants with his mechanical eye, snapping a picture if any of the faces came up unrecognized. Upon reaching the group of meta-humans, he stood confidently and looked around the arena. "Well, looks like quite the crowd turned up for this. I suppose we'd better give them a show, huh?" he asked to no one in particular.

| It was noon. Jemmy teleported to the control room. An announcement boomed over the loudspeakers in her voice. "Welcome to the first ever Chaos Games! Thank you everyone for coming. We have a lot of fun in store today, but remember that we are playing with all super powers allowed. With that in mind, we will all need to be extra good sports. I don't want any fights breaking out today, but I will end any that start."
"With that out of the way, let the games begin. We will start with a game of American football." A few teenagers that Jemmy had paid way too much ran out on the field, carrying armored pads in a wide variety of sizes, along with red and blue jerseys. One of the helpers had a bowl with equal parts red and blue papers inside. "If you wish to participate in this game, get on the field, get your armor, and get on a team."
Jemmy teleported to the field, leaving another paid teenager to make any additional necessary announcements. She turned her red balloon into a plastic ring and slid it on her finger. "Stay safe, little guy," she whispered to it. After putting on her child-sized padded armor, she drew a red paper from the bowl. She smiled, hoping that someone she knew would end up on her team. She donned a red jersey and walked over to one side of the field, bouncing energetically.
A new announcement came from the man Jemmy had left in charge of the control room. "This game will be shortened to two 15 minute halves, with a 15 minute half-time in the middle. This is to allow time for other games later on." |

| Hope looked around the arena and smiled at everyone. So many people actually showed up! Before anything started, Hope ran to the stands and got a front row seat next to three guys around her age that were obviously Meta's. She sighed and watched as Jemmy came out to announce the first game, American Football. This wasn't really Hope's sport, so she decided not to do this one, but she was sure that many men would love to play this particular game! On que. The obnoxious teens next to her ran out to the field and got ready to show off their muscular self along with the meat they call a brain. Hope leaned back in her chair and began to watch to see how her little Jemmy would turn out in the game. | |

| (Flipped a coin)
"Yes Yes! Thank you thank you!"
Bio got up finished waving and bowed to the applause. Most weren't really cheering for him but he liked believing it. He eenie miney moe'd the jerseys and got a blue one.
"That's the spirit!"
he said to Ita's comment.
He then noticed the girl donning a red jersey and pointed at her.
"Are you pumped?! I'm pumped! Sun's out guns out! USA! USA! USA!"
He waved both of his arms for the crowd to get up and then began to mingle with the meatheads. He wasn't really a jock but he loved acting like one. And eating like them too.

| Scorch listened as the announcement was made, sighing as football was called out as the first game. Of course it would be football. Why wouldn't it? Everybody likes watching people get concussions. Despite his misgivings, the teen walked over to the bowl, pulling out a blue paper and grabbing his gear. Worst comes to worst, I just stand to the side and let everyone else do the work. How bad could it possibly be? His question was answered by the rather energetic response of one of his teammates, who then proceeded to, in Itazura's opinion, make a complete fool out of himself. ...What have I gotten myself into... he thought, standing away from the more 'athletically-inclined' individuals on his team. | |

| The game started. Jemmy was disappointed to see that neither Hope nor Shomei had joined in the game. Well, American football wasn't for everybody. It was easy to get hurt in a game like this. Most of the players on both teams looked like they could take a hit, they were built like tanks. Jemmy certainly stuck out, since she had the body of a little girl. However, she wasn't worried about getting hurt.
Before the game started, a boy asked if she was ready in a loud voice. Jemmy shouted a "yeah!" at him before jumping against the teen. The little girl bounced off of him, probably not even throwing Bio off balance. Jemmy decided it would probably be best if she was a receiver, instead of someone on the front line.
The game started, and Jemmy used a spell to fly, her feet hanging two inches off the ground. Her flight gave her extra mobility, allowing her to easily move around the fat guy who was supposed to guard her. Jemmy was open. Scorch and Bio were closest to her, but they were far enough away that the quarterback threw the ball in Jemmy's direction, a little high. Jemmy rose higher, her feet reaching 10 feet above the ground by the time she caught the ball. She fell back down to two inches, and continued to strafe across the field without ever touching the ground. A wide smile stretched over her face as some players on the other team caught up to her. |

| Bio got into the sprint section as a line backer. He really hoped this game would work out so there could actually be a metahuman sports league. He wasn't much of a fan of the world's strongest, it just seemed too dangerous and unpredictable, but sports was right up his alley.
He figured it would be time to demonstrate his powers, and he only really had one that he could use that was in the spirit of football. With a smile, he launched off towards Jemmy using his power to give him the athleticism of a linebacker. He knew that whoever this girl was, she must have been fine with getting tackled.
"Check this move out!" he yelled as he charged in.
The moment he launched himself towards Jemmy for the grounding tackle, his weight and size suddenly spiked as he turned himself into a much bigger guy from the defense. This would give him a higher chance of tackling due to his enhanced bulk even if he was going to miss before. This was also the first time Bio had used his shapeshifting power to such an extent. He knew he could do it when he made himself fat in front of a mirror for laughs, but this was ... definitely a strange feeling. It's a good thing his armor covered up the bulging veins of blood pressure that showed when he transformed or the girl would probably freak out.

| (Sorry for the delay)
As the game began, Scorch took up a position slightly behind the defensive line to be ready in case a player broke through. Sure enough, a girl from the other team maneuvered around her blocker, apparently hovering over the ground. Itazura took off towards her as the quarterback threw the ball and watched as Jemmy flew up to catch it. Well, that's going to make this game interesting... he thought as he continued his pursuit.
A loud shout distracted the teen as he ran, and glancing over his shoulder, he saw one of his teammates transform into a larger guy and charge towards the girl with the ball. "Well, if everyone else is showing off their powers, I might as well use mine." he muttered to himself, launching two fire bolts towards Jemmy's hands. Best case scenario, she would fumble the ball. Worst case scenario, he would miss and accidentally set the field on fire. Hopefully I can put it out if that happens...

| Jemmy was so excited that she didn't see either of the guys from the other team coming. The fire bolts burned her hands off. She was more surprised than anything. It wasn't like losing her hands actually hurt. The ball dropped to the ground. An instant later, Jemmy's hands regrew entirely and she reached down to pick up the dropped ball.
That was when the giant guy landed on top of her. Jemmy was flattened against the ground, leaving the ball open for someone else to pick up. Nobody from Jemmy's team was close, so the ball was turned over to the Blue's.
When Bio finally got off of Jemmy, the girl would smirk at him, then at the boy who had shot fire at her. "Oh, so we're playing that way, huh?" Jemmy got lined up for defense. This time, it was their turn to act, and her turn to react. At four foot nothing, she didn't look like she'd be able to stop anyone on the field, but Jemmy had quite a few cards up her sleeve. |
