A New Gang (Open)

Kane had intended to create an opening for himself I'm just gonna make an opening... he jumped into the air slightly and kicked off against the air as if there was a wall behind him, dashing through the air at him.

He didn't see Kris get hit by the rock, so he must have avoided it, not that it mattered, that was why he was following the rock from behind, he struck the rock with his foot, sending pieces flying everywhere. Without thinking to see if it had hit anything, he dashed towards the closest human shape and struck it!

The statue that he thought was kris broke to pieces ...aaannnnnd he's gone. Kane was not stupid, he jumped into the air, expecting some kind of sneak attack, he hopped to the side occasionally and that was what saved him, when the bullet penetrated him he was moving quite fast, so it only barely missed his spine, entering out his back.

Kane grunted in pain and for a second was down on one knee, kneeling on the air as if there was a floor beneath him, before getting back on his feet and getting further away from Kris, but he wasn't stupid enough to go too far away, that way Kris would easily get away.

Kris fired a few more times after Kane was wounded, this was exciting, this is how battles normally ended, one guy getting a really good hit on the other. Kris was used to the circumstances, being in more than his share of combat scenarios. It was a beautiful things, civilians killed, police officers killed, and maybe a hero? Oh, how wonderful! Kris wouldn't be the kid who was stepped all over, he was a force to be reckoned with. Kris kept firing, as well as some of the other gang members fired.

Kane knew that he would be getting shot at some more by the gangster, so he dodged from side to side on the air using his powers. The thugs didn't really matter, it would take an extremely skilled marksman to hit him from this distance, even if he was staying still, but Kris was good, he had to dodge not to get mowed down.

This was not good, Kane was on the ropes, he needed a miracle or this was not going to end well.
