Shady confused by the black magic didnt waste time. He caught the street lamp and sent it flying at the creature hovering above. Shady looked around and thought "Theres no way im wasting more time" Just then he heard sirens in the back ground. He repeatedly punch the ground in front of him causing a cloud of dust to surround him and break the line of sight. He picked up the money and quietly went down the sewer grate a mere 5 feet away. He continued to run as fast as he could, for as long as he could. sure he had escaped.

Pix texted back, 'U just want an understudy. Stay back. Ur band mate can handle herself. Dont even think about it. If u can follow crim back to house. Need ID 2 recruit.' He hadn't really turned his mind to the intricacies of hiring new personnel yet. But he supposed he did need someone to fill the powerhouse role that had been left by Livewire and Dar's departure. Right now only Gilda could throw a decent body blow. And she wasn't nearly as muscle-headed as he'd hoped.

One thing Haruhi knew was to never take your eyes off your opponent, her attention was glued on him, even as he threw the chunk of wall over her head. But at that same second he began to fire, Haruhi was already in stance ready to duck and roll but didn't need to as a black shield of magic appeared in front of her, taking the shots. This caused Haruhi to look up as debris and rubble rained down from the chunk Kyte had just shattered into nothing. Haruhi then saw him throw a street lamp down with aim right at Shady, which shady just grabbed and threw back. He then began punching the ground and dust formed causing Haruhi to shield her eyes and cough. "Hey!" She yelled as she knew he was trying to make his escape with the money. She lowered her arms from her face and made an irritated look. "Yeah I'm fine. Thanks by the way." She told Kyte as he called down to her. She wondered if she should have gone after him, but the guy was strong and durable, it was clear she couldn't take him on by herself, to which annoyed her.

Kyte's lips curled into a smirk as the guy simply caught it. That was an impressive feat, being able to take 10,000 pounds of brute force at such a velocity. Perhaps he had enhanced strength himself? He threw the pole right back at Kyte, but Kyte didn't worry about it, simply dropping a meter towards Haruhi as it flew past him overhead. Then he started creating a cover by punching the ground.

He has quite a head on his shoulders...he could be a problem. But he doesn't even take part in idle banter! What kind of villain does that?! he joked to himself.

Kyte dropped down next to Haruhi, waiting for him to attack, but it never came. Instead, the dust settled down, and there was a hole going to the sewers. Kyte could have attacked him perfectly in the cloud cover, but that would have killed him. Being a so-called "hero" was difficult. Haruhi said she was fine, thanking him.

"It's no problem. Attacking a civilian like that is cowardly." He looked at her. "But you handled yourself quite well...for a civilian."

Kyte's voice had an odd tone to it. He was implying that if she didn't have a license, it would be better not to tell him...though he would let her go even if she didn't have a license. There were no rules prohibiting you from protecting yourself. He decided to tell her as such.

"Even if you don't have a license, you're not in trouble. He was attacking you, right?

I also hope I wasn't stealing your thunder. I know how it can feel to have your prey snatched out from under you."

It was possible Shady got away with some, but in the amount of time it would take to escape, he could only have grabbed a little money. Kyte didn't like the prospect of letting his prey get away with murder, but he would track him later.

Kris read the text and began to follow Shady home, he had to ID him, learn about him, then bring the information back to HIVE, then they would begin their votes. It was simple really, Kris was a professional, this new guy was amateur at best, but he was also a tank, and they needed a tank.
