| The whole 'hiding behind vehicles' shtick was getting old to Dennis at this point. It was far from his style to be hiding from a scuffle, and he was sick of it. Sliding over the hood akin to one of the Duke boys, he clanked his gauntlets together and began his way to the store until he saw someone who looked like he was covered in tiles fly out of the entrance, and another person dragging a lady out.
These things should have made Dennis stop, but he continued to make his way to the store in time to see Kicker trying to escape the blast of the gas canister. He then felt a massive force push him backwards, falling near the same area Ace was.
His ears were ringing, and his head felt as though it was going to cave in on itself. His body ached, but he was used to handling the pain. Getting himself upright, he surveyed the scene. Looking back at the van, he saw a good sized dent with one of the hero boys clearly KO'ed. Not far from him were the tile guy and the one who was dragging the lady out. He didn't look like he was going to be conscious much longer, though. He rubbed his sore elbow while he began to plot if he should begin to flee or not. Even if he had no part in this, if it could get pinned on him (without him getting incarcerated) it would look nice on his resume. Maybe not good, but better than nothing, he had to make some lemonade out of lemons. Otherwise this whole thing would be a bust. So, he decided to play hurt long enough to see who would get up and who was staying down.

| ( sorry for 2 week wait - got held up with site stuff. )
JaK rose after being ejected from the premises. His armor dispelled itself and he cracked his back. That kid kicked hard, but it looked like he had saved him or did something that required him to be saved. JaK's eyes grew wide as he saw the scene - everyone had been saved, even the crazy armored dude, but what he really cared about was the girl. He flipped her over...She was alive. Thank God.
JaK then went around checking everyone's vitals; Kicker was out - maybe that was a good thing - registered hero and all, everyone was out except for the henchmen that had freed themselves, but they had fled. All that was left was the card dude, who JaK was tryign to help to his feet...and Dennis. "Of course, I'm left picking up limp bodies in this s#%ty rain." JaK couldn't get Ace to his feet, he would check Denis then go back to him. Little did the boy know, when he checked Dennis - he would of course find he had no issues. JaK was the only one not too injured at the moment and he was approaching the faker in a hurry. |

Ace sighed with relief as JaK attended to the store clerk, noticing that she was still breathing. "Alright...score one for the heroes." he muttered. As the teen came over to help him, Ace couldn't help but smile at his remark. "Well, what can I say. When you don't have enhanced durability, huge explosions tend to do some damage." he replied, once again unable to get to his feet. He watched as JaK walked over to another person, one Ace hadn't noticed before. Where'd he come from? Was he trying to help as well?

| Jak was pretty spry for someone who had just been kicked like a soccer ball. He his presence was growing ever closer to Dennis and he had no real plan. He wanted this pinned on him. But he didn't want to get caught. The other two heroes were down for the count, and Jak was the last true obstacle. He was getting soaked in this rain and growing impatient.
He slowly slid his hands over shards of glass to re open the previous wound. Re-opening his old wounds successfully, he took a breath and waited watched Jak's movements. He was going to go for a quick knockout before he had a chance to make himself all tile-y. After that he'd make sure the girl he saved remembered his name and he was run like a bat out of hell before the cops arrived.
Under he breath he apologized to Jak, deep down he wanted to have a fairer fight, but there wasn't time, it was raining, and... It was raining.
When Jak was finally close enough, Dennis's fists were encased in his own crystallized blood. He sprang to his feet and used the momentum to deliver an left uppercut to Jak's chin and right hook to his chin for good measure. Assuming each attack hit its mark, he'd begin his exit strategy.

| (( I apologize )) As JaK approached he didn't realize a thing until he started to check the boy's body for injury. Aw would you look at that, his hand was bleeding? JaK attempted to kneel down to take a look at how bad it was when suddenly it crystallized and was thrown towards Sage in the form of a fist. JaK would have to thank his perceptive nature for noticing this early on but kick himself for caring too much for his fellow man. The blow was narrowly blocked by JaK moving his hand in the space between the first and his face. However the hit itself couldn't be stopped by brute strength from the angle JaK was in. His hand and the boys fist plowed into his jawline dazing him and then then follow up blow sent the surprised teen rolling across the floor after a forceful impact. It was a direct hit the second time and probably could have knocked Sage unconscious if his skin wasn't as tough as Kevlar and he hadn't blocked the original knock out blow. However, he was in a bad way still...The surprise attack in general had JaK seeing stars, sheep, and all manner if bedtime remedies. He tried to stagger up but fell to the floor as the rain drops crashed all around him like small explosions. His equilibrium was thrown off entirely. He looked with blurred vision at the boy, still dazed an confused, and tried to crawl but was virtually defenseless in his current state. |

| (OOC: sorry for the delay)
Ace watched as the hero walked over to the new person, only to get sucker punched twice in a row. Ace flinched at seeing this and attempted to get up and chase the other teen, failing once again. Even though he was clearly in no shape to take on another threat, the card-launching hero did he what he would normally do in a situation like this. "Hey!" he called out, his voice slightly weaker than normal. "That's quite the low blow you dished out there. What's the matter, afraid you can't take him on in a fair fight?" Ace knew that what he was doing was borderline insane, but hopefully he would only have to keep the apparent villain's attention for a little while before the police showed up.

| ((Sorry about the delay!!) The young pugilist allowed his sanguine gauntlets to fall apart into tiny shards on the wet pavement. Under normal circumstances, landing a two hit punch so beautifully would make Dennis giddy as a schoolgirl. But it wasn't a fair punch. He didn't know JaK's full potential, but for him to block his punch, even if it did fail, was admirable.
Then his breathing became heavy as he imagined a real fight between the two. Of course Dennis would have won, but it would have been a good one for sure. The type of brawl that ends with broken bones and tons of collateral damage. He couldn't help but smile to himself.
But he had to put those thoughts on the back burner. He had to finish what he intended to do from the beginning. The police would have their sirens blaring as they sped to the scene soon enough, so he needed to wrap things up.
With the rain finally starting to let up just a bit, he made a b-line to Jak. He knelt down and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry Tile-Boy. I owe you a fight."
Then it was Ace's turn. He heard his remarks whilst daydreaming and wanted to ignore them. But he had to make sure this was pinned on himself and no one else. That and not get caught or it would defeat the purpose. He made his way to Ace and knelt down to to look him in the eye. He then re-opened the wound on his hand and let his blood run over his palm. The he applied his bloody hand to Ace's face. Then another to his back to leave a handprint. This would be his signature. At least for now.
"You're gonna do me solid for not caving in your face for saying stupid crap. Call me Red Hand. All this was me. All of it. From the goons to you being on the ground like a sorry hero-boy worm. All. Me. Make sure all your hero friends know. Let 'em all know Red Hand's the reason you're hurting so bad right now. We clear? Good." he flashed a sarcastic smile and patted Ace on the cheek. He stood back up, then proceeded to take any jewels that were in immediate eyesight and sprinted away from the crime scene just as the sirens could be heard.

| JaK heard every word said by the boy, he registered the words "Red Hand" in his mind for future reference. This guy said he orchestrated this!? He nearly got this girl killed and now he was grabbing jewels? The bastard had straight made Sage angry now. He was lucky JaK couldn't figure out which of the blurry images of Red hand was the real one or right now or he would be in for it.
When the sirens blared in the distance JaK could only assume the explosion had alerted the police of the thwarted heist not to mention the silent alarm but that went off once every four minutes in this city. In any case, JaK had an issue - he wasn't registered. He needed to go, NOW!
JaK staggered to his feet but fell over, he rose again, fueled on pure willpower and crawled towards a dumpster where he slipped inside. Not the most heroic or chivalrous exit but better than jail time. |

| Kane got too his feet with a groan, he had regained consciousness early enough to hear what the read hand had said and done, this angered Kane greatly, but he was in no condition to do anything about it. Kane saw the hero staggering away, but didn't go after him, he had saved lives today, the fact that he was breaking the law to save those lives didn't justify letting the police capture him.
He looked to where Ace was lying before, if he wasn't strong enough to get away on his own, Kane would walk towards him, crouch down and pick him up. He would then jump off against the ground, cracking the pavement underneath him and go several meters into the air, but this notably hurt him Where to, blackjack? he would then take Ace to wherever he asked Kane to take him.

| Ace watched as Dennis approached him, pulling away as the teen placed a bloody hand on his face. Red Hand, huh? Oh, I'll spread the word all right, and you will regret this. Ace thought as the villain took off. The sound of sirens brought him back to the matter at hand. Right, time to get away. Moving is still an issue, but I should be able to... His thoughts were interrupted by someone picking him up and jumping up, landing on...the air?
Turning to look, Ace saw that Kicker had picked him up and was now asking where to go. "Um...just down there." he said, pointing at a roof not too far away. Once Kicker brought him there, Ace would pull out another deck of cards, forming a platform that he would roll onto, facing the hero for a couple of seconds before speaking. "So why'd you help me? It would've been a lot easier to let the cops take me away."
