| It was late and it was raining pretty heavy. JaK was out in the thunder storm, carrying a paper-bag filled with groceries. As he walked through the galleria shops outside, one shop in particualr had a shady looking character enter it in a rain coat.
JaK stopped and looked on, a bad feeling hit the pit of his stomach, but it wasn't any of his business. So he pressed on. As he marched through pouring rain a rolling blackout occurred and all went dark in the area. "Ah #%$ great.."
That's when a male scream pierced through the background noise of pitter pattering rain drops. JaK stood for a moment. He was completely idle. Then a female scream and a loud SMACK was heard, which silenced her immediately.
JaK turned back, and took a deep sigh. A further investigation after back tracking revealed a man in the pitch black shop window wearing what appeared to be body armor and a gasoline tank on his back. Out front were two others in trench coats with mini-guns. Of course, it was a jewelry store and the female clerk was laying at his feet bloody and beaten. The male store manager was bleeding out on the floor after being shot in the ribs. The perpetrator had a rifle like firearm attached to the tank and JaK realized it was some kind of flamethrower.
The teen clenched his fist while lightning illuminated his face. He hadn't registered. He was no superhero, but when he saw the man with the flamethrower point his weapon at the female cleark who threatened to scream again, he could take no more! The bag JaK was carrying hit the floor almost simultaneously with the boy crashing through the front window. As the glass shards shattered across the floor, Sage plummeted his fist into the crook's face, knocking him down and then ran to a table containing expensive jewelry and flipped it over as he lunged over it allowing his new cover to take all of the incoming gun shots for him.
The two men in trench coats unloaded on the table and JaK sat behind it breathing heavily. He wouldn't have much more time until their weapons shredded through it. Suddenly the firing stopped and the man with the blow torch lit fire to the table just as Sage dashed from the table to a pillar. During the in in between space JaK snapped his fingers and grabbed a tennis ball out of his jacket pocket that he lunged at one of the shooters.
The criminal thought it was just a tennis ball and attempted to swat it away, however JaK had changed the density of the object and it broke his hand on impact causing the shooter to fall to the floor in agony. The other shooter cursed and fired an entire clip upon the pillar. Meanwhile, the blow torch man grabbed the female clerk by her hair and threatened to burn her if JaK didn't come out of hiding. |

| Oh great, this was just perfect, here Kane was, enjoying himself out on the town and having a good time, when he heard a scream. Without wasting any time he turned to see the source of the scream and saw a woman at the mercy of what appeared to be a man with a flamethrower, he cursed, even if he suited up he would not be in time to save the woman.
But then, a miracle appeared in the form of a would be-vigilante who started to fight the thugs, Kane silently thanked this man as he ran to an alleyway where he could change without being seen. Kane wore, on top of his usual attire, a bulletproof vest, a hoody that obscured his face, jeans and trainers designed specifically for combat. Finally, he placed mask on his face so that even if one saw his face his identity would not be revealed.
Kane ran out of the alley, then jumped into the air, standing on it for a second, before he dashed forwards, through the broken window and towards the flame thrower wielding man, swinging at him with his foot with enough force to send him flying and knock him out if he only had normal durability or he didn't have body armour.
Whatever the result, his momentum would keep him going and he would slide to a slow stop before addressing the civilians while keeping an eye on the other criminal Don't fret about the knock off Boba Fett! he grinned to himself before continuing Forgive my rhyming, but in all due seriousness everything's gonna be fine! he posed with a leg in the air I'm Kicker, don't worry, I'm registered | |

| The stormy weather matched Ace's rather uncharacteristic mood as he walked through the rain. Unbelievable. First we get a freaking dictator put in power, then he decides to turn this state into its own nation, and finally he makes it illegal to be a hero unless you sign up with his government. I get that this guy saved the world and all, but seriously, who does he think he is? The teen's thoughts were interrupted by a commotion coming from the store across the street. Looking across the street, he saw both the robbery going on and the heroes stepping in to prevent it. Any thoughts of the dictator and registration left his head as he dashed towards the store and pulled out a deck of cards.
At first, it appeared that the attempted rescue was going poorly, as the first hero to arrive was caught behind a pillar with a mini gun and flamethrower keeping him there. The second hero's arrival seemed to help the situation a bit by lessening the current danger coming from the man with the flamethrower, however he had also forgotten about the second gunman, who would almost surely attempt to mow him down after his entrance. Having chosen a target, Ace opened the deck in his hand and launched five cards at the gunman, one at a time. The first two would be aimed at each of his hands to prevent further use of the gun, while the remaining three would fly straight towards his back, followed by a tackle from Ace to knock him down. The teen would then quickly get to his feet, cards at the ready in case any of the robbers attempted to recover. "You guys picked a really bad day to rob a store." he said to the two gunners. | |

| Of course Dennis would pick the one jewelry store that was marked for a robbery. And of course he would pick the one jewelry store that was getting robbed with some low level mooks with flamethrowers. Who does a hold up with flamethrowers?! What were they trying to melt the goods? These goons were obviously amateurs. Or just nuts. Probably both. Dennis chose both. He couldn't notice any distinguishable regalia or tattoos from any organization he knew of. He had to assume they were working alone.
Dennis Miller, aka The Red Hand had been scoping out this particular shop for a few days now. It wasn't under his boss O'Malley's control and he was looking for a quick solo heist to up his reputation. He had been content with being a grunt for most of his criminal career, but with all of the recent global activities, he decided now would be a good time as any to up his profile. Especially since anyone who didn't register would essentially become a criminal, he couldn't be lumped together with the goodie two-shoes who didn't want to sign up.
So there he was in the rain, black umbrella protecting him from the torrent of water cascading down as he watching days of staking out the shop go down the gutter with the rainwater and the sewer rats. Anger was clearly visible on his face as his grip tightened around the handle of his parasol. He let his feet think for him as he made his way to the jewelry shop. He'd punch the mooks out, take care of the hero boy that was trying to save the day. Take the jewels and make a break for it.
But of course not one but TWO more hero boys came out of the woodwork to ruin that plan. He almost through his umbrella into the street in disgust. He wasn't that stupid as to just run into a six-on-one fight and expect to make it out in one piece. That was a lie, he was that stupid but he needed to live another day. So he made sure to keep a considerable enough distance away from the fray and wait until it blew over. He figured he'd wait until the hero boys got tired, knocked them out, take some jewels, and be on his way. Wasn't his favorite plan, but beating down a hero always looks good on a resume, doesn't really matter how. | |

| OT: Apologies for delay.
Kane kicked the assailant so hard he dented his armor and caused him to fly into the wall, which left an imprint. JaK peered around the pillar and saw the first hero come in, he was registered. Kicker - well known already. Then the second took down the last standing gunman with his card attack, JaK assumed this one wasn't registered since he didn't know him. Both boys had aided Sage and he was greatful.
JaK noticed the gunman who's hand he broke slowly reaching for his weapon to shoot the two. Sage clapped his hands together just as the gunman's palm reached the firearm and as he went to pull the trigger, the teen punched a large chunk of the pillar at him. The debris broke off easily and glided cleanly towards the crook, striking him in the head and knocking him out cold.
JaK came around the pole following his save. "No time for thanks guys, or any registration talk." He knelt down by the female clerk. "We gotta get her..---"
"Call in the back-up!" A voice rang out over JaK's. It was the armored man, he was conscious after all and had radioed for his getaway car, which pulled up in a black van and flung open the door. Inside the van were four masked men, with a gatling/rail gun pointing out of the van at the store. The group of thieves unloaded upon all three teens. Meanwhile, the armored man shot a burst of fire at the three teens from his angle. The first being JaK, who was knelt over by the girl and seemed to get completely engulfed by the fire.
The young heroes were definitely in a tight spot. |

| This had been going well, another hero had joined the fight, Kane hadn't actually forgotten about the other gunman, but it was nice to have insurance. But then the guy he kicked just HAD to have strong enough body armour to not be knocked out and the robbers HAD to have reinforcements who just HAD to have rail guns.
Kicker cursed and very quickly hid behind a column, he noticed however, that the unconscious gunman was in the line of fire. Kane dashed out, without thinking of his own safety and placed his foot under the criminals body and raised his foot sharply, flinging the man out of the line of fire. Saving the man's life had not been without sacrifice however, as by the time Kane went back into cover he had been shot numerous times. He slumped against the column, he hadn't had any vital organs pierced, but that was of little comfort seeing how Kane was still bleeding badly.
Was saving a criminals life worth exchanging his own in return? Maybe not, but it didn't matter, what mattered now was trying to deal with the back up. He himself had little in the options of long range attacks, especially not without exposing himself and getting shot more. He had noticed however, that the other hero who joined after him threw some cards, he seemed to be useful in this situation.
He looked around for the other hero, making sure he was still alive after the rail gun attacks, he highly doubted that he hadn't survived but he had to make sure. When he saw Ace he would yell at him Hey you! Can you take out the guys with the gattling guns? | |

| Ace jumped to the side as part of a pillar flew past him, knocking out the other gunman. "Well, that seems like a bit of overkill." he muttered as he walked into the store. The first hero on the seen came out from behind his pillar to help the injured civilians, only to be interrupted by the crook with the flamethrower. Ace turned back to the entrance just in time to see the door to the van slide open, revealing a rather nasty-looking gun. Ace dashed out of sight of the window, ending up behind the wall as metal fragments blasted past him into the store.
A quick look around his surroundings told him that the situation had just gone from bad to worse. While Kicker had originally gotten to safety, he had decided to try to rescue one of the unconscious thieves, receiving a plethora of bullet holes in return. The first hero wasn't faring much better, as the armored robber had the flamethrower firing at him full force. If he wasn't dead already, he would be soon.
Ace turned his attention back to Kicker as the hero called out to him. "Um...not sure. Give me a few seconds here." he replied, pulling his die out of his pocket. "If this works, we have thirty seconds. Take out the guy with the flamethrower, I'll try to deal with these wackos with the giant gun." Ace said before tossing the die on the ground in front of the door. As the die settled out, two dots landed face up. Seeing this, Ace dove out in front of the doorway as a wall came up in front of him, covering him from the bullets. Now, let's see what we can do about these guys. Taking out the deck of cards he had used earlier, Ace covered part of the wall with about twenty cards, holding them in place with his powers. Satisfied with his work, he moved back to his original position behind the store wall. Shortly thereafter, the wall would disappear and Ace would launch each of the cards in the general direction of the gunmen, assuming they weren't shredded by the gunfire first. | |

| "Screw this." The young thug's plan of waiting out the storm hit another snag when the cavalry arrived. Any valuables weren't worth looting at this point, they were destroyed in some fashion by now. There was only one way this day was going to get better for Dennis and that was for someone's face to meet his fists.
With nothing more than a bandanna and a pair of shades now covering his face and identity, he broke the metal frame from his umbrella and used it to puncture his hands, letting his blood cover them and forming his crimson crystal-like gauntlets. With a howl he began a mad dash towards the vehicle.
Since the van was in front of the store, he would be unable to see anything that was actually happening inside of the store. And the gunfire coupled with the flamethrower would drown out any sounds. But that didn't matter to him. All he cared about was messing someone's face up. And that someone would be the driver. Jumping onto the hood of the vehicle, he punched through the windshield and landed a right hook on the poor driver's jaw. Not satisfied he pushed the unconscious driver out of his seat and onto the road, ready to face the gunmen all by himself, then maybe the heroes afterwards. It was then he saw a wall that was slowly dissipating and what appeared to be cards ready to be shot at towards the van. Shouting a few expletives, he busted down the passenger side door with a few rapid punches and rolled to the opposite side of the oncoming barrage to wait out the attack. | |

| The flames danced along the floor until finally the armored assailant released the trigger, however what was left was not a burnt carcass, but the armored body of JaK and the female under his body. His entire physiological make up had the tile flooring that had once been under him coated around his body frame.
The armored assailant was shocked by this new development, which was fine. JaK would take this opening. The boy launched forward and in just three bounds had reached the assailant and struck him with his fist, denting his helmet and knocking him back. A roar emitted from JaK's mouth at the point of impact - people like this, people like this guy is what pissed him off about this world. This armored man was a tough individual though, his answer to JaK's punch was to spray him with the blowtorch again and then toe/front kick him backwards onto his back when the flames had impaired his vision.
-----
As for the flying bullets, they seemed be dealt with by the wall that Ace had created. The bullets riddled the surface of the blockade until they had to re-load. That's when Ace made his move and sent the cards flying at the gunmen. The gunmen yelled for the driver to move forward so they could avoid the onslaught, but of course the driver had already been done away with by Red-Hand. Screams were heard as the gunmen took cover, and the ones that were not assaulted by the deck of cards pulled regular pistols, ready to fire back as soon as their comrades signaled the onslaught had stopped with the end of their cries. |

| Well this was an unexpected development, the hero that was there originally, whom everyone had thought to be dead, was alive and well. Actually, he was better then well, he was made of floor tile and had even managed to save the life of the woman he was protecting in the first place. Not only this, but the other heroes tactics of firing cards at the enemies worked and a lot of them had been hit, plus they stopped firing.
Kane took this opportunity to help his tiled friend, who had been kicked over by the surprisingly tough individual, he dashed at the gunman and would attempt to strike him seemingly out of nowhere with a flying kick which would send him flying into the wall and hopefully take him out for good if it hit.
He looked down to his ally Need some help, concrete lad? at these words he would outstretch a hand towards the hero he had dubbed concrete lad to help him up, if he accepted the hand. | |

| Ace counted to five in his head quietly before sighing with relief. Apparently his attack had done the trick, as the assault from the van had stopped. Peeking around the corner at the van brought him new concern, as he saw that some men had withstood the onslaught and were readying pistols in response. Taking a quick glance around the room, he noticed that Kicker was working on taking down the armored man and helping the other teenage hero. Ace was surprised that both of them were hanging on despite the situations that they had just encountered, however he quickly regained focus as the first few gunshots rang out.
Assuming that these were the last men and recognizing that their weapons weren't firing nearly as rapidly as the gatling gun, Ace decided to make a bit of a risky move in an attempt to end the danger quickly. He dove out of his cover once again, although this time without anything else to protect him from the bullets. Taking little time to actually aim, Ace rapidly launched the remaining twenty-seven cards in his current deck at the attackers, hoping that the sheer number of cards that he launched would be enough to take them out. After completing his own onslaught, he would dash for the closest piece of cover he could find, hoping that he would be moving fast enough to avoid taking a bullet. | |

| Dennis waited out the first wave of cards that assaulted the van and the passengers inside. Hearing no more gunshots, he figured the coast was clear. He was unable to see what was happening on the other side of the van, so he relied on his other senses. Listening he could hear the familiar sound of pistols being cocked and readied to be fired again. As he robbers began shooting off their sidearms, he began to grin. A Gatling gun he could admit he would have trouble with. But a pistol? He could take a hit or two and crush a skull before noticing he got shot. If he got shot. They were probably all still shook up from the cards that were fired at them, causing their aim to be off. Or so he hoped.
He made his way to the front of the van, peeking up slightly to get a better view of the situation. Ideally he wanted a sneak attack, but this idea was ruined when he saw more cards being flung towards to van, cursing loudly, he ducked his head and again decided to wait out the attack, and contemplating how he was going to beat up the guy who had been slinging the stupid things to being with. | |

| The flying cards bristled through the wind as they traded off with a few gun shot pops, but the men were all hit or plastered to the van's inside by the cards sailing into their clothes. Now all the guys in the van were either downed, unable to fire their weapons due to them being knocked out of their hands or injured. However, the uninjured ones were trying to free themselves from their pinned clothing to give aid to the others. It was time to either escape or at least bum rush the two kids attacking their boss.
Meanwhile the kick sent the armored assailant backwards and into the wall, a huge dent punctured a hole into his gas tank and the kicked had knocked him so silly that he didn't take his finger off the nozzle trigger, which was still spewing flame.
Gas leak, tank, and fire - the situation should be obvious to all those in attendance. JaK hadn't noticed it however, since he had been knocked down by the armored man's kick. The dent was on the back of the tank, not visible from his vantage point. |

| It had worked, none of the men were a threat anymore, they were either unconscious or injured or disarmed. Kane was about to jump into the air to celebrate when he noticed a fatal miscalculation, the kick had made the gas tank leak, and the flame-thrower was still spewing fire! Kale kicked concrete lad, to him it would seem like a betrayal, but he kicked him away from the explosion that would take place.
Kale had to act fast, he used his powers to dash towards the man at his full speed of 100MPH and tore the man from his tank and his nozzle. He had enough time to kick the man away and go a few feet away before the inevitable explosion occured, sending him flying. He hit the truck that the guys with the rail gun had been with, putting a large dent in it before rolling off and hitting the ground painfully, his ears were ringing and he was in too much pain to move.
He groaned and looked up at concrete lad, who was most likely alive, and then to the armoured man, who was writhing on the floor, in pain but alive. Kane grinned, he had managed to save them, but his injuries from the explosion, plus his injuries he already had, caused him to pass out. | |

| As the gunfire stopped once again, Ace stopped for a moment to survey the room, his heart pounding from the adrenaline of the fight. Upon seeing the man and his leaking tank, Ace rushed towards the woman that had been protected from the flames by JaK, who appeared to have been launched out of the store by Kicker. While the registered hero was removing the man's weapon, Ace did his best to drag the clerk out of the store, barely clearing the threshold before the tanks exploded and the shock wave caught him, knocking him further by a few feet.
Struggling to remain conscious, Ace did his best to see where everyone was. Kicker was lying unconscious by the thieves' vehicle, which judging by the large dent he had been knocked into by the explosion. The other hero was not too far away, and the armored man was safe as well. The clerk was laying nearby, however Ace couldn't tell what kind of injuries she had received. The teen attempted to get up, however the pain from the explosion and exhaustion from the fight made currently made the task impossible. Hopefully I'll get my strength back soon...otherwise I'll probably end up arrested. | |
