Three years, she could hardly believe it's been three whole years since she'd been....home. The coffee skinned woman opened her mouth and spoke, as the bus rolled lazily behind traffic far and wide. "Three years, and I'm home...." She rolled the words off her tongue with a little slur as she stared out the window before looking down at her small tote bag, packed with bandages and smiled.

Jump city looked as wonderful as ever, so peaceful, so serene, yet still managed to sustain it's own disgusting underbelly of crime. The likes of which the spunky woman could scarcely fathom as she exhaled a small plume of gray smoke and ash down towards her feet as she looked over at a woman and her son and smiled. Family was nice, she'd lost her only family back in Brazil, then lost a friend in an old burly ship captain thirty miles off the coast of Jump city and it was at that point, she vowed that she'd never hurt someone that didn't deserve it.

And a lot of people in Jump city deserved to be hurt. They deserved to be hurt, real good.

"oi lá, you take care of your mamãe, family's important," the two she spoke to stared at her for several minutes in confusion as Libby's gaze turned to the front of the bus. "You only got one set in the world, it's..not fun losing famil-" Her eyes widened as the front of the bus vanished in a plume of flame and smoke, vaporized by a series of high explosives as the ball of flame expanded and engulfed the interior, burning and charring everything it touched....

The culprit dropped the rocket propelled grenade launcher and smirked as the effect of one single explosion cascaded, spilled outward like a disease through the rows of cars. People panicked and swerved this way and that, flipping their vehicles, flying off the bridge and being ejected through the windshields like rag dolls of screaming flesh and blood.

All of this chaos and hell, all of it caused to stop a convoy transporting a group of criminals out of Jump city and to someplace more secure than the cities prison which arguably did not have the proper facilities to contain them for a long enough period of time and so they were put into cryostasis and transported off towards Belle Reve, a maximum security prison for metahumans, located in Louisiana.

More people joined the single man, the lone man, as they made their way towards the boxed in cars, weapons at the ready. They moved with incredible grace and precision, so much so that no amount of pretenses and falsities could disguise their nature as former special forces, turned mercenary group as they dropped the guards like flies, the soft snap of suppressed rifles, a soft din against the panicked screams and blaring car horns as they reached their goal and began to slice through the reinforced steel doors of the massive armored trucks, all to free their payday located within.

So many people were dead, injured, wounded, suffering as Libby came back to her senses, flesh black as oil, platelets of iron hard bone covering her body as her eyes snapped open and she inhaled flames and oily smoke and burning ash. She had saved two lives, the little boy and the mother; both unconscious, as she slowly dragged them out and towards safety. Dazed and confused, perhaps a little sore the reptilian looking woman stared towards the main scene of carnage, looked at the...lucky two she saved and stared off towards the trucks, flames wrapping around her body like a cape. "You babacas! Eu vou matar você!"

No doubt with an incident this large, others would flock to the scene. But for now, Libby had to face down a large group of heavily armed men, and possibly the three enhanced humans being brought out of cold sleep as well.

Kane was in his hero outfit of a hoody that covered his face, a mask, jeans that allowed for manoeuvrability and a bulletproof vest with protective plates under his shirt. He was usually never prepared for an emergency, he would always have to go into an alleyway where he couldn't be seen and dress into his clothes. So it was a good thing that he was already patrolling the streets when a huge explosion was heard from the bridge

He stopped his jump, standing in mid-air as he looked in the direction of the bridge, some people saw him and stared at him, asking him how he did that. Normally, Kane would have said something witty or funny, but instead he started running in mid-air in the direction of the explosion, before kicking off against the air and jumping forward at super speed, kicking off again whenever he was starting to lose speed.

He soon arrived at the scene, seeing a bunch of mercenary's, three meta human criminals, and a girl on fire. He hesitated a few seconds, thinking of something clever to say, but then just forgetting about it So... what's going on here? The mercenaries fired at him, he dodged all the bullets, then kicked the air multiple times, once for each mercenary. The winds generated from the kicks sent all the mercenaries flying, those that weren't knocked out were weakened.

Those that were left all pointed their guns, only to find out the true purpose of all those air kicks, which was to disarm all of them, all of their guns were destroyed. They all drew backup guns and aimed ...didn't think about that they all shot at him and he dodged them all. He growled in anger that his badass entrance had been ruined.

"I'm going to take over this battle." A voice rang out as someone leapt up on a car hood and stared at all the foes. It was someone in odd wizard like clothing, but his shoulder was visible and displayed a tattoo of the T symbol. It was Teen Titan Brave. "You have the choice of coming at me all at once or getting defeated one after the other." Kale said baring his fangs and reached for a scroll in each hand. "You two humans. If you can't fight run now, but if you can," Kale suddenly smiled. "You can have whatever's left." The dragon mage said, preparing to defend from whatever attack.

There was a bellowing screech, anger, hatred that burned hot, as the air around Libby became to shimmer. The rising temperature around her body causing steam and fog to form as it met the cool bay air and gave her an almost mythical appearance as she charged and leaped, springing off the roof of a car and kicked; once, twice, three times, as several fireballs tore off through the air like glowing yellow will-o-wisps that, despite their small size, struck the mercenaries with explosive force, the ones that didn't dodge getting blown through the air, smoldering, singed and very much half-dead. As she took off from car roof to car roof, a trail of steam and fog following in her wake, the heat around her body was like being in the hot Saharan Desert in summer as she charged forward. "Saia do meu caminho!" she yelled, shouted and barked as she leaped into the midst of the mercenaries.

The way she moved was angry and fierce, as she skidded and spun with the momentum, foot coming up high and around, to catch a man in the jaw as a burst of fire tore into the man, heat and intense pressure launching him into through the air to crash into the door of a car, crushing it, and very likely killing the man. "You'll pay for this! Eu vou matar você!"

With the lizard girl distracted, now it was all a matter of the hired guns to give each of the meta criminals a cocktail injection of adrenaline as each one, barely responsive before, twitched and shot upright. Technical was the first one to speak, voice mechanically synthesized by the suit so generously grafted to his body as he took stock of the situation outside. "Hhn, rescue and a show. Okay, you two," he pointed at no one in particular and then looked to one of the armored trucks. "Get that thing started up, keep it safe. Though I doubt those kids have the punch to put a hole in 7 inches of reinforced steel plating. I'll be running interference, while the other two finish waking up."

With that said and done, Technical waltzed out from behind cover and collected a few...toys from the dead officers. A pair of baton's and a nice, compact carbine as he took his time and instead of firing into the air, pressed the stock to his shoulder and fired three times, the distinct crack snap of the gun firing, echoed out as each round tore off towards kane, one just above his head, one to the right of him, and one aimed for the dead center of his chest. "Let's test the waters a little.'

Kane turned his head when he saw a pink haired hero enter the scene, the hero had fangs and a T tattooed onto his shoulder, he recognised him as Brave, a Teen Titan. His eyes travelled back to the battle to see a girl kill one of the mercenaries Hey!

He was so angered by this display of brutality that when the bullets came flying at him, he almost didn't dodge to the left to avoid the bullets, he glared at the girl, but for now had to pay attention to the battle. He looked at the man in the techno suit Who are you!?!

After shooting at Kane from over the Technical's head a looming shadow could be seen growing larger as it approached. "I told you," Kale could be seen soaring through the air off the hood of a vehicle with armor scales all over his body. He had seen the girl hit the man, but was too busy fighting to care much about saving his adversaries. What he had seen was this individual shoot at the human he had instructed to escape, he would protect him. "your fight is with me!"

The teen titan took a deep breath during his decent and exhaled a wave of metal shrapnel at his foe from the bullets he had eaten just moments earlier when the men unloaded on him. "ROAR OF THE IRONREAVER!" The shrapnel would lodge into the floor of the bridge, lining it like a pin cushion.

Technical checked the magazine to see how many rounds were left, half remained and he shook his head when he saw just what they loaded these things with. [i]Hah! Non-lethal chemical pacification rounds. Tranqs, do they even know who they were dealing with?[i] The man stifled a chuckle as he flicked the weapon to it's fully automatic setting, dancing and pirouetting through the blades of lead, copper and steel with practiced skill as he returned fire, spewing forth the dart shaped rounds at Brave as a shimmering field of energy glistened across his suit.

He had to give the kid props, mostly because he was brave, not exactly smart in a tactical sense, as Technical moved back and discarded the rifle behind him. The criminal drew the batons he had appropriated previously, flicking a small switch at each weapons base as a jolt of energy ran along the surface, causing him to audible swoon in awe as he pulled a pair of glowing green cables from the suit's oily black surface and jacked them in. "Alright kid, time for a crash course in survival," he mumbled out as the electricity flashed green, standing his ground and waited for the young'un to come to him.

After all, brave people liked to come to their targets and while Technical was as brave a man as any, he wasn't stupid.

The silver scorpion was slowly coming to her senses, the bulky tendrils attached to her shoulder blades twitching, shivering and spasming as the world came into focus once again. Her words croaked from her lips with a whimper as she stirred and saw the carnage before her and it all made sense, perfect, crystal clear sense as she began to giggle, chortle and snort before standing up and making her way out onto the field. "Not fair that you get all the fun Tech! Lemme have some too, before loner ruins it when he wakes up~"

Libby however was sating herself with the mercenaries, the people responsible for killing dozens, if not hundreds of people. It was time for some good old fashioned street borne justice, no survivors, as she ducked under a round house, twirling low to the ground as she peeked between her legs and dropped to one leg, momentum continuing forward as she made for a sweep, watching the man leap up and over as she kicked up off her rear leg, body twisting clockwise as her supporting foot came forward and drilled into the man's chest, launching him back and over the edge of the bridge with that same explosive brutality that claimed several of his murdering friends lives as she turned towards the scorpion and cracked her neck once, then twice. You're dead you lunati-"

Salamander didn't even see the blow coming as she was bounced off the ground, pavement cracking, as she choked and spat out a thick wad of blood. Silver blinked a few times as she wandered over and tilted her head from side to side, tendrils picking Libby up by the arms as she hummed and poked the unconscious form with a finger and shrugged. "Dead already? Huh, what a pity, oh, Technical can I help youuuu~" She threw the limp form off to the side like a ragdoll as Libby bounced and skipped and slammed into a car with enough force to nearly rock it onto it's side as she turned towards Brave and made towards them with a grin as she tore a car from it's resting spot and hurled it at the airborne titan with startling ease, as if she were throwing a pebble high into the air.

It seemed like they were all ignoring Kane, going for the Titan, Brave, or the salamander girl, they would soon realise that it would be a huge mistake. The salamander girl killed several of the mercenaries, this made him angry, he was just about to go at her, but then she was defeated by a woman with metal tendrils.

Kane looked at the limp girl, who just a second ago he was about to attack, then looked to her attacker, he forgot about the girl and decided to take on the tendril woman. She threw a car at the titan, but whether or not he could avoid it would never be found out, because a figure that would appear to be nothing but a blur would intercept it in mid-air and kicked it out of the sky, making it land right next to the woman who threw it.

Kane stood where he was in mid-air, looking down at the woman Nice tendrils, very creepy. They really complete the insane psychopath look you've got going on After his taunt he would kick off against the air, dashing towards the girl and would spin in mid-air, sending an axe kick towards her head with enough force to knock out a normal human without dealing permanent damage, she would clearly be able to tell that he was holding back.

The rounds bounced off Kale's hide as he formed his skin into metal. He saw a car fly from his peripheral vision, but was struck by his other companion in this fight. However, the other girl had seemingly perished.

The Titan stopped before charging his opponent, landing just four feet ahead of him.. This outcome upset him greatly and caused a brief hesitation. He had attacked instead of protecting the human and now she was dead for it. He promised to protect them all - all the earthlings. Kale gritted his fangs. "You bastards..." Kale said as he his face contorted to something resembling any feral land predator. "When did you start throwing away the lives of your kin like trash!" Kale howled as he ran and lunged over his opponent, with one arm clutched at his side and his other hand pressed over it. "Shearing Clutch!" Kale's back arm contorted to a metal claw and swiftly elongated at the opponent, on impact it would punch into the bridge creating a two foot deep pothole.

"When did w- huh, guess you're new around these parts. While I'm definitely upset that someone with that amount of potential is dead, if only because her offensive capabilities are top notch and, Raven industries would have loved to hire her." Technical began to speak as he watched the young man close the gap pretty quickly, a soft chuckle leaving his lips as he watched the tranq darts bounce off that shiny metal hide, leaving nary a scratch to show for it. "Guess I'm gonna have my work cut out for me with tanning your hide. Boy."

The older man's plan slowly began to come through as shapeless blobs of purple energy seeped up through the pavement like ghosts. If someone could see the face behind the mask, Wally was nothing but one big grin, as he snapped his fingers. "Psycho grenade," two simple words coming together as the constructs shimmered and flickered with an unstable incandescence, corona's of light flying from the surface as the compressed psychic energy burst forth; a combination of concussive kinetic energy and telepathic energies. It was a two fold deal that blew parked cars about, flipping them like ragdolls right into kale's path, putting a wall of steel between them both. The orbs had one more interesting effect, in that anything with a sentient mind, would if struck, experience powerful hallucinations, so much so, that getting struck by one would trigger the bodies pain response. And kale had about two or three of those things blowing up right beside him. "But hey, silver lining, if she is dead we can just bring her back, we have the tech. Not that hard to clone someone these days."

Blanche oh the other hand, was actually having a ball with the kick boy. "Aww, gee thanks, I was actually going for something a little more carte blanche," Scorpion was a chipper woman, pretty happy go lucky and absolutely out of her mind as she watched her car go sailing through the air only to have it slam into the ground next to her, with nary a look of shock or surprise. Just that ever present grin on her face as she watched him descend upon her, and with surprising speed, launched the two claw tipped tendrils at him, as soon as his kick landed against her head with a shuddering crack. The finger tips shimmering and dripping with a crimson scarlet red fluid. Her own blood. "You know, I wish I could hold back like that. But it's not really all that fun toying with people, oh well," she spoke in a sing-song tone of voice, wondering what he'd do next. That was the fun part, trying to figure out what someone would do next.

And Silv certainly liked to think, she was good at figuring out what someone was going to do next. "Shame I don't have my scorpio suit~ Gonna have to get that back."

Kane felt his kick strike the woman with a satisfying sound, but it was not without price, as the clawed tendrils of the woman pierced his body, he let out a gasp of pain but he was not seriously injured. He pulled away from the woman and landed a few metres away, the woman seemed to be wondering what he was going to do next, he was happy to show her.

Kane noticed that his ally also seemed enraged by the death of the girl on fire, then he turned his hand into a metal claw and attacked his foe. This guy, whoever he was, was impressive. Kane noticed that, towards that direction, purple blobs of energy rose from the ground and exploded, sending cars everywhere. Kane deflected one with a kick and avoided another, before kicking a third towards the girl.

Bio entered the scene, amazed at what he had watched on his smartphone. The armored skater pressed on the speed and drew his gun reaching the bridge. He saw quite the battle unfold with a Titan and the same superlegs guy he had met in this very same area. He jumped high into the air as he built momentum and launched himself off the hood of a car aiming to land at Pika's side.


"Oohh---ohhh---OOHHHHH!"

He actually landed on his feet, truly stunned at his own skill.

"Did you see that?! Did you see that?!" He said pointing at Kane and his opponent. He then turned to Kane.

"Need any help dude? You remember me, Bioshock right?"

Kale's extended arm met with a well placed soaring vehicle, the explosions simultaneously were happening all around him. His eyes darted from side to side as he witnessed the orbs, but had no time to react in mid-air. If only he could fly.  

Kale roared in agony, loud enough to be heard all around the bridge/battlefield, as the psycho grenades went off around him. Soon after the boy laid on the ground, flat on his stomach, motionless. His body was covered in metal scales however, although patches of them had been blown off. The body was intact, but the other effects were still taking their toll on him.  

First a finger twitched, creeping back to life along with the rest of the body following suit as the Titan rose to his feet breathing quite heavily. He was unprotected at the moment, and in more pain than he had to deal with since leaving his homeland, but he was the Bravest Titan to exist and would not go down this easily. "Is that your best?" Kale said as he hunched over. "Because you haven't killed me yet, eh human?" Kale was having a hard time balancing, he was in a bad way, but he knew not to show his enemy weakness.

The man was impressed, a literal font of pride and shame that someone had survived, for the first time, his psycho grenades. Tech gave a hearty applause as he stared at the shaky teen, masked visage, hidden as it was, was all grin as he clapped his hands together. "Congratulations are in order then boy, you are the first person to survive the initial physical trauma of those bombs of telepathic and kinetic energy. Now on to phase two," the man spoke softly, fascination plaguing his voice, making the older man seem like a child with a new toy as he spun the batons in each hand and pointed one at kale.

Within moments, hallucinations would begin to plague him, like a bad trip except the demons, the monsters they could cause some more pain because while it was all in kale's head, it would feel real and indeed when kale ever got struck by the things he was seeing the damage would become real. "Hmm ja, this gives me time to examine the full effects of my ability, so carry on breathing and if you can beat this, you will have impressed me.

Whereas silv was occupied with batting some cars away the leggy one had redirected her way. She lashed out, tendrils striking with enough force to embed the two ton vehicles into the ground as cracks spiderwebbed out from the impacts. She was all smiles to boot, as the unstable woman gave a delightfully melodic chirp towards Kane, her lips opened and she spoke. Feeling tired? Perhaps you feel like your body weighs a ton, hmm? Wouldn't a nap feel good right about now?" The way she inquired about him, spoke of an understanding, something she did when she struck him perhaps, drew sweet sanguine from his veins and now she sat back and waited. Waited to see what would happen next.


(So I am giving posting on a phone a go, might stick with i and I might not we'll see in a few weeks.)

As the other fight went on in the background, Kane looked to his foe and he was starting to feel weaker, Kane shook his head to try and focus on the battle. Out of the corner of his eye he saw someone new enter the scene, he turned to see who it was and saw a hero whom he vaguely recognised from some time on a bridge Uh, yeah, I remember you he groaned and held a hand to his head.

He focused his attention back to his opponent, just as the tendril came flying at him, he kicked off against the ground to get away from the tendril, but he only barely dodged something he should have easily dodged, something was wrong with him. As he was coming to realise this, the girl started talking about how he is feeling tired. Kane grunted and then stood on a spare car part that had fallen off, he crushed it just by applying pressure I don't need to be at full health to beat you!

But he had to act fast, or he was toast. He walked up the air as if there was a staircase there, before kicking off against the air and dashing towards her at 67MPH, not even close to his fastest, even though he was trying to go as fast as he could. He would attempt to redirect himself in the air to try to avoid any counter attacks, but there was no guarantee he would be fast enough in this state, before swinging his leg at the side of her head with enough force that it wouldn't knock her out, but it would still hurt alot.
