It's all wrong [Kale]

The door opened so suddenly because Teen Titan, Brave had opened it. The mage hadn't been waiting by the entrance, expected Tim to come, or even seen him on a monitor. Kale only came to the door because he sensed the approach of great magic. Kale had been reassured his hunch was correct upon seeing how Tim stopped himself from falling face first. "Hey there!" Kale said grinning, as he grabbed Tim by the back of his collar and pulled him right up with a firm tug. "Don't think I've ever sensed you around here?" The pink haired teen adjusted his scarf and looked over the newcomer. "Nope, definitely not a dragon, but still you have a lot of magic power. More than most humans anyway. What can you do?"

Energy Warrior? Kale recalled that mantle belonged to Paige and frowned as a chibi thought bubble formed over his head of this guy and Paige holding hands with dozens of enemies scattered around them. An inflated heart floating just above their heads. Then Tim inquired if Kale was a wizard. Finally, a term in this Earth realm that he was familiar with and could correct. "Close. I am a Dragon Mage, a close cousin of yours."

Tim smiled as he entered the structure and showed off his power to Kale. His original hunch about how much power this teen held was correct. That little arc of energy contained enough malice to rival a dragon's rage. Tim also stated he was a master combatant. In response Kale punched his fist into his open palm and spoke brazenly to their guest. "Ah. That makes my blood boil!" Brave said in an interested tone, barely able to contain his growing smirk.

"You must be very confident in your skills and magic to just come in here and talk of your abilities so boastfully. If you really are a mage of skill, how about you test me in a match?" Kale said, thinking of this guy and Paige together still. "Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with you, but it's rare I see any humans that possess magical qualities and I rather show you what I can really do than tell you."

"I don't fight to kill humans. I vowed not to when I came to this realm, because I don't belong here and don't wish to tamper with things too much. But you can feel free to use whatever magic or weaponry you want." Kale eyed the weapon and could tell this man was a warrior. Brave would enjoy this battle. "Just give me a chance to eat first."

Later in the simulation chamber, both men sat staring at eachother. This was a showdown between mages and therefore they would fight eachother at the fullpower of their magic and gathered themselves accordingly. Kale sat cross-legged with his hands clamped together in a foreign hand seal, and spoke in a dragonic tongue, which sounded like growling mixed with an ancient language and a bit of squealing. Afterwards he rose and punched one fist into his other open palm and threw off his shirt to not tatter his clothes, but kept his scarf. "I hope you're ready, I am Kale Salem of Endor. The Brave Titan, Dragon mage, and the son of the Al Mother Aishera and the Grand Wizard Voromir. Show me all you've got."

Kale stared unmoving as the Wizard Slayer drew near and then arced down his strike at Kale. The Dragon mage immediately threw up his hands to clasp the sheath, but Tim switched the degree and ended up hitting the Titan's shoulder, causing Kale to drop to one knee.

However, Kale was still able to clap his hands across the sheathe in time before impact and shave off some of it's force. Brave began to rise in a test of strength between the two men as they pushed back against one another. Kale started to snort and growl as he rose back up and then smiled. He had his secret weapon already prepared.



During their struggle the scenery began to flip back and forward around them like rolling dice. First they were on the moon, the the rim of a volcano, the ant-arctic tundra, sub-tropic jungle until finally settling on a flowing grassy green meadow atop a hill.

The pink haired teen suddenly took a deep breath and fumed smoke from his nostrils as embers burst from the sides of his mouth. "Roar of the Rising Phoenix!" Kale told this human not to hold back and neither would he. The Titan unleashed a rush of flames from his mouth, which he expected to wash over Tim and end this skirmish early on.

Kale expected to hear the Wizard's screams, but was surprised when he saw Tim's mouth filling with his own flames. Then as his foe emerged from the fire stream he rammed his sheathe into Kale's throat, causing the teen to skid backwards while choking on his own fire. Kale attempted to block this strike as predicted, but Tim held steady at first and then jabbed under Kale's hand. Kale rolled backwards and attempted to speak, but found his windpipe was injured.

Instead he just snarled at his target and charged towards Tim with flaming jets propelling the mage from his feet and his fist ignited in fire. The speedy rush would add extra force to Kale's blow even if blocked, which would in turn knock Tim back or deal heavy burn damage if left unblocked.
