===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: Shoulder length brown hair with black died tips
Eye Color: Sky blue
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 157 lbs
Other Traits: Jay has two large wings that protrude from her shoulders that are blue with black and white specks near the bottom and on the undersides are brown, similar to those of a blue jay. Her wings are about 14 feet across wing tip to wing tip.

===POWERS===

Powers:
Flight- Jay of course has the ability of flight.
-Endurance- Jay can go for long distances with out stopping in flight.
-Speed- Jay has practiced speed flying often, being able to fly as fast as 60 miles per hours though this does take from her endurance to how long she can fly.
Fire Bird- Jay has the ability to control fire with her wings. Her wings change as she wills them and they change to a red and orange color before she can use her ability. The feathers shuffle as if a breeze is blowing through them and change starting from her shoulder blades to the wing tips.
-Fire shield- Jay can use her fiery wings as a shield from projectiles, usually burning them up before they actually injure her to much, though they will still hurt her if they can not be burned up. Though for hand to hand fights its very useful since most do not want to have their hands burned up.
-Fire balls- Jay can fling fire balls at her enemies by flicking her wings forward quickly. Usually creating 2 to 4 fire balls that fly straight at her target. They range in size from a tennis ball to a basketball.
Sharp Senses- Jay has sharp hearing and sight. Able to see and hear things that are (look up hawks
-Jay has a sharp sense of sight, being able to see things far below her as she flies over the city. Her line of clear sight can see things below her up to 150 feet down.
-Jay also has a sharp sense of hearing. It is just about as strong as an owls, being able to clearly hear conversations several feet away.

Skills:

She's a fast flier with sharp vision, making her some one who can sweep an area easily and quickly. She also has sharp hearing and is able to remember details pretty well. Also can get hyper over a spoon full of sugar... that's a skill right?

Weaknesses:
Flight-When Jay's wings are soaked she is unable to fly and it usually takes about a half hour to an hour for them to fully dry out again. She is also unable to swim as soggy wings drag her down.
Fire Bird- Though she can use the heat of her red wings to dry her feathers it takes time, like a hair dryer, and she is unable to start a flame while her wings are soaked.
-If he wings are only slightly wet like a light rain or something she can still fly, but if she was caught in a huge storm or was to fall in a lake, she would be unable to fly or start a flame.
Sugar craze-Jay is a bit of a sugar addict and so she is a bit nutty at times, often bouncy, overly hyper, cheerful and energetic like an over grown humming bird. She is just a bit addicted to sugar. She isn't fat from it, usually burning it off in her hyper bouncy-ness after eating a few spoonfuls.
Sharp senses- Jay has sharp hearing and sight. (Similar to that of a hawks and an owls) and loud noises, and bright lights that suddenly go off or turn on tend to annoy her and give her headaches. Such noises include gunshots, car alarms, and pans dropping. Bright lights that are suddenly turned on can temporarily blind her, such as flashlights suddenly being pointed in her face or some one turning the lights on suddenly in a dark room when she is used to the lack of light. Usually she will be blinded for a matter of seconds but in a fight its enough, or when flying its a distraction to fly into a building or tree.

Equipment: Jay doesn't carry much equipment with her besides her pack that she carries her needed supplies and a sketch book and pencils. She also has a white and black jacket that has two large holes ripped into the back of it for her wings. She also carries a pipe that she found on the streets that's about two feet long and an inch thick. She keeps it around in case she ever gets into a fight that she can't use her wing abilities.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality: Jay is a happy person and is usually very cheerful. She is also usually very sugar high. She isn't very shy about talking to new people. She isn't a fan of fighting though she will if she has to. She is easy going and pretty much a go with the flow kind of person.

Strengths: Jay is usually very optimistic and cheerful, making the mood light around her. She also is very energetic and usually doesn't tire out easily. Jay is an agile flyer, like a humming bird, able to hover, twist, turn and fly upside down as needed to fight in the air. Jay also has strong hearing skills and sight, able to see things far below her when flying above the city or hear things blocks away.

Interests/Habits:
Jay has an interest in drawing, eating sugar and just relaxing. She also enjoys flying around over the city for no reason at all or sitting in a tree at the park and people watch.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family Members: None, her family died when she was young.
Place of Origin: Arizona
Current City: Jump City
History: Her parents claimed that despite her wings that she was indeed their child and they never minded her wings, though they constantly tried to keep them secret from every one else. They decided one night that she was old enough to be left home alone and went out for a night and were killed in an accident. When Jay was taken to the orphanage the children soon learned about her wings and mocked her for them. This is the reason she hates being called Birdie so much, because the children would rip at her feathers and call her a bird freak. She soon decided she hated it there and took to the streets. She tries to only take what she needs by thieving and then attempting to make it up to the owners of the store by catching the other thieves. If she can she will pay for what she needs, but that is rare.

Sample RP
Jay popped another piece of popcorn into her mouth as she watched tv. Smiling as the cartoons chased and beat up each other with bats, anvils, bear traps, and all sorts of other things. It was well past her bedtime, but she figured that since her parents weren't suppose to be home for some time, she could stay awake a little longer and watch this last cartoon. She didn't want to waste the last of her popcorn after all, throwing it out and going to bed.

She let out a laugh as the mouse out witted the cat again and slammed a door right in its face and then jumped when a knock came at the door. Her parents shouldn't be home, and no one should be coming around at 10 at night. She thought about whether or not she should open the door then got up off the couch. She walked over to the door and opened it a crack and let out a scream.

In front of her was her parents, but her dad's head was split by a large peace of glass, her mom's head hung at an odd angle, obviously broken. She shook and screamed again. She jolted awake suddenly, pushing herself up and looking around quickly, her feathery wings fluffed up like a spooked cat's poofed tail. She shivered and pulled her wings back around herself and tucked her jacket under her head again. "Only a nightmare," she told herself, "only a very freaky nightmare...." She let out a sigh and tried to sleep again.

Yay! Just a couple things that need your immediate attention and one that you can think on and, personally, I would keep an open word document for it...

The two things!

Really simple actually... In your weaknesses, please state how long it takes for her wings to be dry enough to fly after having been completely soaked.

Two, please fill in the Interests/Habits.

The one thing!

Try and think about her history some more. Flesh it out. Get detailed! It's so much more fun to read everything that happened to shape a character rather than a summary... But I do understand that it takes time and thought, so just keep it in the back of your mind please~ I know you can do it!

k so I updated the weaknesses and also did her habits things. working on a longer history but its a bit more difficult.

I need to know how hot this fire is, you mention it can burn away projectiles. However most of those will only melt at 550 degrees. And only evaporates or "Burns away" at around 3180 degrees F. That would be well beyond allowable limits and I'll need to get more specifics on this.

Also I still don't see a time for how long it takes to dry out her wings (referring to firebird, mentioned like a hair dryer) in her weaknesses. Please state this.

Burning away projectiles:
Metalic projectiles such as bullets and arrows, throwing knives and shurikins- will not be burnt to a crisp and blown away. May be slightly altered in their path due to the heated air in the throwing knives or shurikin case but metal bullets yeah, Jay should just get out of the way or hurry up and launch some fire balls before being fired at.
Wooden or rudder projectiles or weapons like staffs or rubber bullets may become burnt up or at least burn a bit to where they would be weaker at the time they impact.
Hand to hand combat would be the best use of this since I doubt any one would want to punch a firey opponent and burn themselves

As for the firey wings being used as a hairdryer to quickdry her soaking wings. I would say it depends on the amount of water in her wings but a truly soaked and water logged Jay would take maybe an hour to sit and dry while muttering to herself. And thats if she was dropped into a lake and left to soak and didnt drown first.
