Floor 11 (SAO)

Raistlin smiled and looked down to Bow since she was quite a bit shorter than him. "I'm glad you think so, I believe you are as well Bow. Hmmm... what are your favorite things in this world? For me its all about the scenery, though honestly I love combat."

Bow had to look up at him for the exact same reason and smiled also. As she listened to him, she also thought. What was it that she liked about this world? The actual answer was quite longer than she had expected it to be and when she started talking, she teared up a bit as well. "I hate combat, honestly, but I do love the landscape, and animals, and people here... Everyone here is working to reach the same objective and doing it through different and innovative ways... Relationships here... I think they transpire into the real world too... I have someone here that I couldn't bare to lose. Ever." As she thought about him, it made a tear slip down her cheek.

Raistlin shrugged and said. "I've yet to meet anyone I can stand for more than a few hours, excluding yourself, I've not had time to decide with you. But as far as combat I can cover you in that regard for now. My weapon gets thirsty you know what I mean?" he finished off with a wink belying his love for bloodshed.

Bow blinked and slowly shook her head, giggling to try and shake off the weird feeling she got from him when he said that. "I can honestly say my weapon has never been thirsty for blood... M-maybe it was your blacksmith who did something to it?" She tried to smile sweetly at him, ignoring the possibility it may be he who was bloodthirsty.

Raistlin shrugged and said. "Must have been." He pulled the naginata from his back and tossed it into the sand before falling backward just laying there. He smirked and said. "Oh your not some player killer who lured me out here to be off guard are you?

Bow looked shocked. "Of course not! I don't even have my weapon out! It's in my inventory!!" She then calmed down and laid down beside him, looking up at the stars. "I love this star scheme setting... So tranquil... And bright... Which is nice when you're planning on travelling at night..." *giggle* It didn't even cross her mind that he could be a player killer.

Raistlin smiled looking up at them and said. "To be honest. I've never really looked at them.. I have but I've never really focused on it you know what I mean? My life is just so... different now..."

Bow just nodded and stared up at them. Memories started flooding back to her. Of her time here and back in the real world. Her time with JaK, that first night under his roof that he had covered in stars. Her time in the real world under the canopy of stars all by herself. She sighed and smiled adoringly. "I understand, to an extent... Though, the stars are always something I've found refuge in because they're always there... Unlike everything else..."

Raistlin grabbed a knife from his belt and cut his hand slightly. He squeezed his hand letting the blood drip onto him. "See this is what I think of when I need something that's always there. The only things that have stuck with me are blood and pain. They aren't pleasant but they've been with me all my life..."

Bow gasped and sat up as the blood turned to pixels and burst on his body. She teared up and started looking through her inventory to see if she had any minor healing potions left, but of course she had already given them all away. She looked up and saw his health bar had only gone down to 97%. She closed her inventory and sighed in relief. Then, though, she looked up at him as if mad. "Please don't do that again... I-I can't stand to see a player hurt... Especially a new friend..." She takes his hand in both of hers to keep pressure on the cut, a few tears falling down her cheeks.

Raistlin shook her off and said. "I have plenty of potions. I was just going for a dramatic effect." He got in his inventory and took a potion causing the wound to heal and his health to return. "Trust me I have plenty..."

Bow sat back on her butt and watched him, nodding. "O-okay... I'm just a worry wort, sorry..."

Raistlin grinned and said. "Hey that's fine with me. Most of the time I need someone looking out for me. You don't seem like you have anyone who does that for you though..." He looked like he was a bit saddened by this but the look in his eyes said he might be offering.

Bow blinked and pulled her knees into her chest. She wanted to say JaK was always there for her, but she hadn't seen him in three floors and even though she was part of the guild, she was the leader of a group. It was her that had to look out for everyone else. No one was there to make sure she stayed safe. She shrugged, trying to stay strong. "I-It's not like I'm alone or anything... I'm actually a part of a guild... The main one actually... The Knights of the Blood Oath..." Never did she say anything about being protected though.

Raistlin smirked and said. "Be that as it may, your currently alone. You don't like combat. So guess what happens now Bow" He was flipped up to his feet and grabbed his weapon putting it on his back.
