Affiliation: Chaotic Evil.


Powers: The full extent of what this cult is capable of is currently unknown. However, of the few agents of this group we have witnessed so far are any indication they possess the means to commit the art of necromancy, as well as create musical devices that can drive standard humans who hear their tune completely insane. The cult seems to use both abilities to help recruit its members.  

Weaknesses:
Currently unknown. We do not know the full extent of what this cult is capable of, nor do we have a clear understanding of its social structure. However, upon examining the bodies of several of the cults members we discovered a vast number of known addictive drugs in their system, as well as several compounds we have never seen before. While the short term effects seem to boost the bodies abilities and senses, testing and isolation ward footage of the few cult members taken alive so far suggests that withdrawal is both quick to set in and often deadly. Long term usage also seems to do serious damage to the human body and it seems that only the vast amount of drugs in their system was keeping them from feeling the effects.  

Skills/Strengths:
Chaotic Insanity: While this would often be treated as a weakness in the case of a criminal organization, the fact that this cult's one and only goal is to cause chaos, insanity and death wherever and whenever it likes forces us to treat this as a strength. Because of the random nature of which these insane bastards cultists select and assault their targets, it is impossible to predict the site of their next 'Party'.

Indoctrination and Zealot Loyalty: Getting undercover agents into the cult has been an impossible nightmare. We are not sure of the process itself, but anyone who joins the cult is swayed by them rather quickly. Of the nine cult members we have encountered so far, we have only been able to take one alive: The other eight either died during the battle with law enforcement or took their own lives when it became clear they were going to be captured.

Possibly a byproduct of their indoctrination, cult members are fanatically loyal to each other and the cult. Considering how all members become murderous sociopaths, this is highly surprising.

To set up a morbid, festive atmosphere.

Law Enforcement, 'Agents of Order', people who stand in the way of their 'Fun'.

Various from cultist to cultist. Regardless, there will always been a 'festive' if morbid twist to their gear.

Habits/Quirks:
Cult members seem to view their killing sprees as 'Parties', going so far as to bring party hats, birthday decorations, wrapped presents and dress and act festively during the slaughter. It is a common if disturbing sight when coming across a 'cult party' to find that they have completely set the site of their slaughter up as a birthday party, with tables for presents, food and party games and decorations spread out over the area. Cultists will take breaks in the middle of murdering innocent people in order to open presents, have cake and play party games, often times forcing their half dead victims to join in as well.      

Personality: While it various from cultist to cultist, there are a few factors the seem universal. All members are sociopath killers with no regard for life what so ever, regardless of if it belongs to other people or their own. Their almost always seen to be smiling or in good spirits, regardless of circumstance. When they go on their killing sprees, they go about it with a festive, party going passion. When questioned, cultists in custody tend to evade questions with a child like manner of taunting, regardless of threat or punishment for such actions. However, two solid facts have been dragged out of them. 1. The cult views the Joker as an early, unsanctioned Prophet of the cult; Not a leader or even a member, but his actions serve to inspire them. 2. The deity of the cult is called 'The Laughing Mare'. No further details are currently known.

Place of Origin: Unknown, but the cult's actions seem to be focused on Jump City for the time being.

Known History: Very little is known about the cult itself and even less is known about its history. There are two lines of thought in this regard: Either the cult is completely brand new and has only formed recently, or the cult has been around for a while but the members have avoided throwing their 'parties' in a public fashion in order to build up their numbers and arsenal. Everyone is kind of hoping for the former while grimly preparing for the latter.

Several murders have been linked to the cult, but the biggest, most organized 'Party' to date is the infamous 'Birthday on Super Street' in the rural outskirts of Jump City. Having received a phone call from eight year old 'Sophie' (Currently relocated by witness protection) after her mother was abducted and forced to go to a neighbors house by a strange woman wearing a strange clown costume who was carrying a really big knife (Sophie and her mother had been playing 'Hide and Seek' at the time, with Sophie already in a hiding place when her mother was 'invited') Police arrived on the scene within minutes to discover the begins of a horrifying situation.

The family of four who had been living at the house of choice had been hung up from the ceiling as decorations (Two adult males and their adopted children, one boy and girl, all of them dead by suffocation due to their 'supporting wires'). A six month pregnant woman had also been strung up as a pinata (Death by bludgeoning with blunt objects) and the rest of the 'guests' (Almost every single person living on that street of the block) were being forced to play a game of musical chairs, the twist being those who didn't get a chair in time got their legs broken when police arrived.

The resulting battle lasted two hours. During the course of which the members of the cult used a wide, baffling but always deadly arrangement of toy and party weapons to keep police back, often sacrificing the lives of their 'guests' to do the most harm. When it finally seemed like they were running out of the weapons and hostages that were keeping police back, the cult began channeling dark magics to raise the bodies of the dead as some sort of laughing zombie puppets to even the odds again.

Having lost quite a few brave men and women by this point and with nothing left to lose due to the deaths of all hostages, the captain in charge of the operation ordered the building firebombed. Keeping the blaze controlled by teams of firemen, the police waited until the flames died down before searching the wreckage. The only survivor located was a badly burned and injured cult member laughing her ass off insanely. The only words those on site were able to get out of her was 'That was one hell of a party. Let's do it again sometime!"
