One dark night, Alice stumbled towards the doorway of a shop, she wasn`t injured or sick, she was just tired, she collapsed right outside the door, sleep filling her body.

Lance held his hand to his stomach as it growled. ''Tch, I haven't had a bite to eat in days.'', he mumbled to himself as he looked around for a food shop or gas station. It was late and not many people was out and about so stealing some food shouldn't be too difficult. Just as his temper was beginning to flare he saw a shop that was closed for the day. Smiling he headed for the back so he would not be seen. While walking to the back he noticed a girl sleeping in the front, letting out a sigh he walked up to her Knowing he didn't need any witnesses around and kicked her feet. ''Hey bum! wake up and leave. This is no place for a girl to be at for the moment.'' he said cooly as he looked around.

Alice had been having trouble falling to sleep, she was almost asleep, but this jackass decided to wake her up, she groaned and got to her feet, looking at the guy, he didn`t seem too tough, at least by her standards anyway, but it`s pretty hard to find someone who reaches her standards since she`s pretty strong, not human strong. She looked at him for a few more seconds then went back down and started snoring.

Watching the girl lay back down hit a slight nerve with Lance. He stood up straight and began to drop the temperature as he took his hands out of his pocket. ''You know you shouldn't sleep out in the open on a cold night. It could be the death of you.'' He smiled as he backed away slowly covering the ground around her in a layer of ice.

Alice grumbled as the air got cold, she looked up at him I`ve not got a choice, I`ll be fine sleeping here she lay back down and saw the ice, she brought up her hands and smashed it, making holes in the ice and cracks in the concrete below it, she lay in one of the holes she made big enough for her to sleep in without touching ice and tried to get to sleep again.

Lance stood there with slightly wide eyes. Letting out a sigh he stared at the hole that this mystery girl had just left. He was in no mood to battle someone with super human strength. While he knew he could easily dodge her and wear her joints,muscle, and even heart down with enough coldness he didn't know if he had the energy to outlast her until then. Now frowning he stared at the girl, '''Hey. Are you hungry?'' he asked slightly agitated.

Alice grumbled and ignored him.
