===POWERS/WEAKNESSES===

Powers:Rebecca is an especially gifted half-demon with the ability to control the various energies around her. Be it Electricity, Fire, Water and the very wind around her she is extremely adept at it. She is also capable of flight, by manipulating the flames she conjures up into wings. Rebecca is also capable of a startling transformation.

Transformation- Rage

The transformation does an odd thing to her body and powers. First off she loses much of her elemental abilities save electricity and wind. Secondly, she gains a huge boost in strength and her emotions further boost the strength. (she can when completely overtaken with rage, lift twenty five tonnes.) Her personality becomes confused, distorted even angry. She will lash out at anything and anyone regardless it's as if she isn't in control.

Transformation - Nightmare form(Stable form)


Same thing as the rage but rather she keeps just the ability to control the air around her, further hinting at her affinity towards that particular element. She still has the strength boost but it's more comparable to five tonnes, instead of sixty for the rage mode. and she has an added bonus of being tougher, with a slow regeneration rate. So you could almost consider this as a sort of defensive transformation, whilst rage is pure assault.

Weaknesses:

Loud sounds - Causes her a rather large amount of pain in either of her transformed states.

Pain - Causes her to lose focus and thus unable to use any of her powers for a period of time.

electricity - Same thing above but it hurts her as well, pretty much causing her to black out if it hits dead on.

Personality:Rebecca is a loving girl, a kind caring soul the kind of person that makes you think, why have we done so much wrong to this world? A literal mother figure to those younger then she, Rebecca has proven time and time again that she will save lives, regardless of what side they're on further augmenting her as what some would think as a good guy, Rebecca hides it all under a layer of ice for one simple reason. Fear.

She fears her emotions, simply because of the instability of her powers and how they are influenced by her emotions. Too much of a good thing can be bad. Well in this instance, that old saying is dreadfully right. All sorts of problems rise when her emotions get out of hand and try as she might she's losing the war to maintain herself, to keep others safe and this is why, she's afraid simply because of her emotions and the hurt and pain they inflict on others.

History: Rebecca grew up right here in jump city, the only child within the Cross family she led a relatively normal life, some would say, but now it's a shattered mirror showing fragments of what she once was in life. She is the only one in the cross family to have shown any form of power at first it was controlling electricity then it slowly began to grow in severity and strength, going from electricity to fire then to water and ice, then finally the wind in the air. Her parents loved her regardless, cared for her treated her like she was still their little princess, tried to make her feel at home in this big city sadly it didn't work out as well as one would hope.

Fourteenth birthday

Rebecca's fourteenth birthday, oh if only you could see the smile on her face; birthday cake, gifts, family and friends it made her feel even more normal then usual. Once all the pleasantries were done and gone with and people dispersed from the party, young Becky and her parents took a nice midnight stroll down to central park, to admire the beauty that it holds within each leaf and branch. But someone had other plans that night, a man carrying a gun came from behind a bush demanding their money or their lives. Her father was foolish and headstrong, tried to fight the man off but it didn't work. The gun fired and her father fell over dead then her mother, as the man turned the gun on her she heard a voice in her head then blacked out.

A few hours later

She woke up paramedics and police officers were on the scene and she found she was handcuffed in the back of the ambulance. They told her it was for her own safety, when she finally got a good look at herself she was soaked in blood not smeared but actually soaked like she jumped into a pool of the thick red stuff. Then she saw the three body bags lined up neatly beside each other; two of them were solid and the third was sort of lumpy, like someone mashed up a bunch of potatos then stuffed em in a rubber bag. She was taken back to the hospital to assess her mental condition after being checked out she was sent into foster care where she learned to cope with her losses and tried her hardest to live up to her parents standards of decency.

She learned to cook and clean, to look after younger children. She even took judo in her spare time as a reminder that the world just isn't safe and in the meantime as she got older, sometime was stirring inside her something new, something chaotic, she paid no notice of it and kept on living her life as normally as possible hiding her powers from others that may judge her and wish to do her harm. Her life returned to normal, at least for now which was all that mattered to her.

Four years later

Rebecca ran from her foster care parents one day into the concrete jungle. She was terrified, alone and hungry she didn't know what to do at that point she wanted to go back but remembered why she shouldn't go back when she touched the bruise on her face. It seems those two foster care parents, were quite inclined to physical violence when they couldn't get rebecca to do what they wanted, so she hid within the city alone and afraid until a rather disembodied voice spoke to her. Don't be afraid child as long as I'm here you shall no longer come under harm from anyone ever again. The voice was eerily familiar, yet comforting. She got a loan out on an apartment signed under her name then got a job and began to live as normally as possible on her own but still she couldn't help but feel like something in her life was missing, like the window to her soul was starting to crack and everything bad on the other side was beginning to seep back in. But as she took a bite out of her slice of cheese cake, she smiled and forgot all about it.
