A Mammoth Encounter (Josh)

It was your typical busy day in downtown Jump City. The streets were full of people, all in a rush going to and from work on this rather pleasent Morning. The sun was shining, and the sky loomed over with not a single cloud in sight; it was perfect weather. But, as any Jump City resident knows; trouble is only round the next corner, never too far off. Today was no exception to that rule; as up high there was a rather large crash heard as several windows had shattered, falling down to the streets below. Along with it appeared to be two people, locked in a fight. On closer inspection, one could be identified as Mammoth; the other... an unknown. He had blue hair, that stood out quite well; wielding a sword which Mammoth was trying to pry free from him as they fell down through the air, getting ever so closer to the floor. The boy would wrestle with Mammoth over the sword, and instead opted to kick Mammoth in the stomach, before uppercutting him away as they continued their descent. Which was close, as both within seconds had hit the floor with an impactful thud.

Those around had stopped and stared, watching on, perhaps frozen in fear at the sight. Few were running away, but most watching, anticipating what was next. One by one, Mammoth and the boy got up to their feet. The fight continuing straight away as Mammoth pounded the boy with several power punches, knocking him back; but within an instant he was right up close again to swat Mammoth away with his sword. Mammoth landed on his back, sliding across the floor a few meters before kipping up. As the boy darted closer, Mammoth wound pound the ground; it shook ever so slighly, causing the boy to lose his footing a bit. With that opening, Mammoth leaped towards the boy, tackling him to the ground as he once again tried to pry the sword away. The boy had it gripped tight, but at a disadvantage slightly as he had difficulty keeping hold of the sword and knocking Mammoth away. A struggle of strength is what it was, but the boy eventually managed to throw Mammoth away before getting back up to his feet. Mammoth dashed towards him again, the boy ducking under a punch and the swinging with his sword again. But Mammoth grabbed the sword mid motion, then punching the boy with all his strength in the stomach. The boy fell on all fours, winded; but the sword still in his hand. Mammoth would hold his giant foot above the boys head, a wide smile spread across his face; ready to squish him.

"It was fun playing!"

"Kill me? I wouldn't go that far..."

Lukas had said, lifting up his sword to hold it over his shoulder; felt more comfortable. Though he saw Mammoth make another dash towards Superboy, so met him in mid air with a lunging strike; sending the Mammoth sized Mammoth flying through the air and hitting the side of a building before falling down. A slight chuckle, Lukas had turned his attention back to Superboy.

"A mutual disagreement, I suppose. I wasn't fond of the way he does his shopping... aaaaand he took it kind of personal"

Though it sounded not so bad, Mammoth was trying to steal a little somethin' somethin' a few blocks away. Luckily, Lukas had been there to step in and intervene. Quicker than the Titans, he would also add.

"Not at all, Mammoth gave it up when he figured he had a fight on his hand... not the greatest at commitment, are 'ya Mama Jamma?"

Lukas would say as he called out to the beasty Villain. Mammoth had recovered by now, lifting up a car. He charged towards the two, picking up some momentum before throwing it towards Lukas. Lukas leaped over the car, using it as a bit of a springboard to help him hop over. He turned around after though, watching it slide across the ground to a halt.

"I hope whoever owns that car has insuran-"

Just as Lukas was going to turn back towards Mammoth, he was smacked away with a massive forearm; sending him crashing into the before mentioned car. Mammoth now jumped up high, bringing his hands together to slam down on Supes with an axe handle.

"Batter up!"

Lukas had called out, once getting to his feet. He held the sword just over his shoulder, ready to swing it. You know, like Baseball. Supes' just needed to make a clear set up with the throw.

As Mammoth flew through the air, speeding towards Lukas. It was Lukas whom decided to leap up into the air, then swatting down with his sword in a downward motion to impale Mammoth into the ground. Mammoth hit the floor with a thud, dazed and certainly out of it after that combo play. Lukas would hold his sword just over his arm again, looking down at Mammoth who didn't dare make a run.

"Homerun, boy scout"

"The name? ...the name would be Lukas"

Lukas would say, replying imminently as he surveyed the surrounding area. A little anxious, cops taking their sweet ass time.

"This sword? A gift from the heavens... I think. Either way, there's no need to get your knickers i a twist, boy scout. I don't plan on swinging it in your direction"

Set it up, now knock 'em down with the punch line!

"...I don't bat for that team"

A wide smirk had spread across the face of Lukas, making a rather witty response to Superboy's question. Still, best to clear that up.

"Depends on what kind of team it is, I've seen those teams who hold onto the back of each others pants when going to lunch"

Malcolm in the Middle reference.

"Can call me whatever you want, if its to do with Wonder Woman; can only mean good things"

Sirens blared in the background, alas some update on where the police were. Though really, either of them could of just carried Mammoth away. Still, the police need to earn their wages somehow.

"Depends, whats the dental plan like?"

It was fairly obvious the sarcastic and witty nature of Lukas was an annoyance for the suped up clone. Twas fun rattling the cage of another, but alas; Lukas would give a straight forward answer.

"I kid, I kid... I'm fine with joining, so long as the size of my sword doesn't make anyone jealous... or scared, you know. Giant weapons have that effect"
