The Birth of Zero (Open after Savior)

Spider-Girl watched stealthfully in a tree above the mobsters. Unlike a sniper, her spider-powers allowed her perfectly and completely blend into the darkness. Also, she was wearing her black and red attire, rather than the usual white red and blue, giving her better cover. It was definitely Alex Orange again and he was in what seemed to be a trade off with Tony Galazinio's men. Tony was one of the under-hands of Powers back in Steel that Liz was tracking, in addition to making a name for himself in Jump City.

"I dunno if I should bad for Tony or not, that is his kid and that child's innocent, no doubt about that...But, this guys done much worse than what's happening to him right now"

Another suspect entered the scene, and Lizandra zoomed in using her optic lenses. She couldn't get the face, but picked up the name Zero. She also saw his heinous act, and after her vow to protect everyone as of a few days back. She wouldn't stand for one more death tonight. He went down first...Spidey aimed her web-shooter at Zero's head. Locking on and shot one single web-ball at his face.

Moments later web-fire would come from that tree and then half as second later in succession from a bush and another half a second later, from by the light post. That area of the park was rather dim/dark, so the figure was hard to make out. However, the shots fired were aimed at Alex and Zero and towards the group of mobsters, meant to disperse the mob of them. Specifically a few were aimed at the face, legs, and Alex's hands holding the child.

Liz wanted to try and save the mobsters, but she was pinned down by Alex at the moment. Thee psychoath was shooting blindly, of course. The most she could do for them was throw about half a dozen smoke pellets their way to cover their get-away from Zero. Meanwhile, she would deal with Orange. She didn't speak yet, because she didn't want to give away her position, Alex thought she was up in the top of the tree, but really she had dropped down and was sitting at the base of it. She had to be careful...One mishap and she could hurt the child.

"Maybe a fake out..."

Liz waited until the trunk of the tree was nearly riddled with bullets and once she felt it was weak enough, with one sharp kick Spider-Girl sent it falling over towards Alex. Then with her enhanced spidey reflexes she rolled forward into Alex's line of fire and shot a web-line at him aimed at the child and yanked back immediately afterwards. If he tried to shoot her, the tree would crush him as a result.

Spider-Girl ducked and webbed the gun as it flew backwards past her, letting the recoil on her web-line build up, while rocking the adolescent in her other arm.

"You need to go back on your meds Orange. Just listen to yourself; motherly and slut!? Those don't even go together."

As Alex charged forward for his knife slash, Spidey sling-shotted the gun he threw forward at him and then jumped back for retreat.

"Phew, that one was risky, but I got the kid out safe. Now I need to get outta here before it gets hurt."

As Spider-Girl jumped back, her spidey sense activated just before running into Zero, and she shot a web-line out the ground and held steadfast instantly stopping her back-peddle and avoiding the swing. Immediately following Alex slashed at her again and Spidey turned her shoulder as to protect the kid, but got a nice cut on her arm from Alex. She then side bent while the baby cried to avoid another attack from Alex's blade. Just as he asked Zero to aid him.

"Ok, very bad! In a rough spot, with a baby...what do I do?"

Liz had used her smoke pellets saving mobsters...Oh the irony. Now she had to duel combat them both with a child or did she?

"Sorry, baby!"

Spider-Girl then threw the kid into the air so both her her hands were free and deployed her web-shield to block Alex next knife attack from her wrist and pushed him backwards with her amazing strength. Then dropped down and spun around going for a sweep at Zero's legs, before leaping into the air into a double-tuck front flip and caught the baby while landing on a tree branch.

"Low Alex, even for you?"
