Zach figured he couldn't stop her by running or throwing things at her, unless he happened to come across a grenade which at the time, was highly unlikely. "So, what else am I good at that could reasonably stop a supervillan, besides heliskiing? Pissing people off...Eh, what the heck. I'll probably die either way." Zach dropped the bubble of silence around Velocity "Hey, hey fat whore! Get out of that costume, you're ripping it, and the cavemen called, they want it back!" 'Cmon Zach, you can do better than THAT. You were throwing better stuff out when you were seven!' "Y'know, I wonder why they call that baseball mascot the green monster. You look much more like a monster than that half-wit does. Hell, you probably aren't even as smart as his costume! Well, that would be an insult to costumes everywhere, saying that..."

Velocity simply tapped her foot and shook her head.

"Come on really...Was that you're lame attempt to aggravate me and bate me into attacking you head on? BECAUSE IT'S WORKING!"

Velocity said beyond fuming, and then dashed at her current top speed of 998 mph at Sonicboom, her fist was aimed at his throat, at this speed if her fist didn't rip through his jugular it would certainly destroy his windpipes. He'd probably die from not being able to get any oxygen and would definitely never be able to speak and thus insult her EVER again.

Zach, with heavy experience from Kindergarten knew how this would go down. You piss off bully. Bully starts charging you. You continue to insult bully while you think about what death feels like. At the last second you step out of the way, while extending your foot. Bully trips and falls hilariously and most of the time breaks nose."But this time, if I trip her my leg will snap in half..." Zach quickly thought of an alternate solution. "That's it!" Zach thought. He sprinted away from Velocity, but he could feel her gaining on him, and she was stealing more from his speedforce making her fast and him slower. Finally, Zach reached the wall of a nearby building. He turned around slyly, and said "Come at me bro." When Veloctiy was three feet from him, Zach barrel-rolled out of the way, hoping Velocity would splatter on the wall.

At the last second Velocity had jacked just enough speed to do a trick she could usually only do with Flash and avoided death by vibrating through the wall itself and into the building. Momentarily afterwards, she exited the building via opening the door and looked for Sonicboom.

"UGH! Where that little twerp go, I swear I'm gonna yank his lungs out of his chest before he can take his next 3 breaths. I'm gonna pull out both his eyeballs before he can blink!"

Zach found it was very easy to sneak up on Velocity with his dark clothing and a bubble of silence around himself. He also placed silence bubbles around the civilians so they wouldn't draw attention to themselves. He crept up slowly behind velocity so she couldn't steal anymore speed from him. He slowly pulled a rock from his leg-pouch, and merely a foot behind Velocity, he whipped his arm at two hundred miles per hour, driving the stone at Velocity's exposed stomach.

Velocity was hit hard in the back, which cracked a vertebrae.

"AIIEEEE!!"

She fell to all fours and then smiled still.

"Stupid punk, I've gotten enough speed to heal from injuries within minutes."

Cracks her back so the bones can reset.

"You on the other hand are gonna have a problem trying to grow new feet."

From her position on the ground Velocity rubbed her hand upon the floor next to Sonicboom's feet with such speed the asphalt heated up and began to melt, turning red hot and into liquid form from under him.

"Hot, hot, hot!" Zach jumped to the side and thought about any way he could defeat Velocity? "I'll just piss her off while I think!" Zach thought with a grin. "You think I'LL have healing problems? You should be feeling sorry for the guys who looked at you and turned to stone. Hell, even Medusa blew up when she caught a glimpse of you!" Zach then said "But hey, you may be able to heal quickly, but not the your wound isn't aligned right! Zach came up with a kick to the back, hoping to un-align her spine. He also sneezed and turned the sound into a sonic blast directed at her head.

As the kick came towards her she caught his foot and grinned menacingly, before placing her other hand upon it. Preparing to rugburn his leg at over 1000 mph.

"Too slow! And now you---AAAAAAHHH!!!"

The sneeze caught her off guard and sent Velocity flying backwards into the brick wall, upon landing she slid down it and hit the ground. She seemed all but defeated now as she laid there.

"That was surprisingly easy." Zach lied, hoping that the statement would piss Velocity off further. "I would give you a long, rambling speech about what you have done wrong and blabbity blabbity blah, but I'm not the type of nerd who does that type of thing. So, I'll knock you out nice and easy send you to some high res prison- I hear Arkham has some comfy beds. Or maybe somewhere else/ Who knows? All I know is, you'll be there for a while."
Zach fired off five consecutive blasts at Velocity's head, with hopes to knock her out for a long while.

The sonic waves would strike Velocity, but her body just flickered as they passed through her. It was an after image! Velocity had gained enough speed to leave behind an image of herself momentarily, she had moved so fast that his life of sight hadn't even noticed, and he was a speedster! Finally she had moved SO fast that she was already upon him.

"And now you die!"

However, he was a speedster as well and the time it took her to speak that phrase had bought Sonicboom a necessary half a second. A half a second in which he would have to use to save himself from her punch, which was aimed at his heart. Contact would possibly stop it.

Zach, again, not a complete idiot, knew that he didn't have skills but that Velocity's split second of speech had saved his life. He stepped just out of her reach, and used his footstep to generate a Sonic Blast not at her, but at the ground.
It would create a series of pockmarks in the ground, which Velocity could possibly trip over causing her to fall and become disoriented which Zach could take advantage off. Zach also fired two sonic blasts to either side of the series of pockmarks in case Velocity got clear of them.

He somehow avoided Velocity's punch! This was VERY upsetting to her, how could this punk be this fast!? She then turned to aim a kick at his hip bone, but before her foot could make it she tripped and rolled over the ground, which was weird. At her current speed she usually checked all her surroundings before making a move. However, he had created that irregularity with his foot step that evaded her punch and thus Velocity tripped and rolled back to her feet just in time to get ricocheted by the side sonic attacks. This in turn caused her to fly into the air and barely make a soft landing by rotating her arms again. However, doing that cost her valuable reaction time that Sonic-boom could then utilize as she momentarily laid on her stomach.

Zach, taking advantage of Velocity's fall, fired off three sonic blasts at her.
"Now to keep her distracted..." Zach thought, as he readied to fie off more sonic blasts,
"Your father was a gerbil ,and your mother smelled of prune berries! Nah, your dad was probably a turtle and, by the way, slow and steady DOES NOT win the race!"
With that remark, remembering the tactic had worked the last time, fired sonic blasts in various places around him, creating random pockmarks that could cause either of them to slip up "A caution to me," He thought, "But necessary."
Following that, he fired to more sonic blasts at Velocity to remind her, not only was he an ***hole, but a force to be reckoned with.

The sonic blast hit Velocity and dug her into the asphalt, but as she was insulted more her rage kept her going. However, this required her to heal the injury from the dead on sonic attack, which ate up her speed and reduced her back down to 800 mph. She then darted towards him, but this time took careful to avoid the pockets ont he floor, causing her to run around at high speeds like a maze trying to reach him, but in doing this, she was wasting more and more speed. She needed to re-up, but she was too ralled up to think correctly and was just trying to get to him rather then replenish her speed reserves.

"When I get to you brat, I'll remove more your voice-box and your tonsils all at once."

She should've paid more attention to her decreasing speed, instead of her insults. She was now reduced to 600 mph and upon him shooting more sonic attacks at her, she avoided all except the last one, which caught her, surprisingly. Velocity was sent flopping across the ground and then rolled to a stop.

"Huh, wha--what happened!?"

She said on her knees while looking at her hands, she had decreased to 400 mph because of her ignorance and and arrogance, plus temper.

"Oh no,no,no,no,no!"

Zach said with a grin "Give up much? Or shall I have to whip your fat butt back to Snail-Ville so you can cry to your papa Turtle? Or would you prefer loser-ville?"
Zach almost started sprinting again, but he remembered Velocity could steal his speed. He stood his ground , and fired off dozens of blasts at Velocity hoping that they would either knock her out or that she would use up more of her speed trying to dodge them.
"Jeez Velocity, I just realized, has anyone ever told you that you smell like rotten eggs? Gosh it sure is putrid, of course, not as bad as when you're all sweaty like usual." Zach said, trying to piss her off further.
