Powers:

Originally, Hotwire's abilities were granted by nano-chips in his body. When he was killed, his abilities were granted by the powers of the dead. Upon his resurrection, his abilities became a combination of his Nano-chips, and the residual Temsik Radiation from his death, to create a new batch of powers.

He can now not only control technology in it's base functions, but make it float, disassemble, and reassemble in new, creative way (I.E, using a toaster to make a pair of searing brass knuckles).

He can also make technology fuse with each other. (I.E. taking a alien power source and using it to power a industrial fan)


Weaknesses:His powers do not work on living things. And his powers are ineffective if his is in the presence of a powerful electromagnetic field. Technokinetic powers do not work on systems that are self aware, or that technology that controls a living thing. He can shut down certain aspects of these beings. (such as shutting down the control power to a robot arm on a cyborg,b but not the person itself.)

Family:Mother and father, plus one sister whom hotwire would give up his life to save,however, no-one knows who she is.

History:During a science expo at his school, 14 year old Dominic was swarmed by experimental nano-chips, which were to be kept in a safe container, but shattered when he was shoved into it by the school bully. The chips entered his body, and integrated with his central nervous system, giving him the ability to interface with any technology.

He soon met up with the titans, and went on many adventures defeating evil, and hanging out. He soon found a girl he really liked, a girl named claira, also known as animal shifter, with animalian abilities, similar to those of vixen. He planned on asking her out while hanging at the Tower, but he wussed out. The next day, while investigating a drug ring, Hotwire was captured, and held against his will.

6 months passed, and the titans officially declared him deceased. His statue went up around all the other statues of fallen titans. After 6 more months... a miracle occurred. One of Hotwires captors dropped his phone at Hotwire's feet. The two seconds of contact allowed him to send a distress signal to the tower. He was beaten mercilessly, and almost killed, but the titans came for him.

He was heart-broken at learning that not only had Claira forgotten about him and gotten engaged, but that she had been killed. On his way to visit her grave, he saw a girl that looked like her. Turns out it was her. Resurrected by the power of the Anti-nexus, only much darker, and confused. Thinking she was in hell, and fighting demons, she killed Hotwire. However, he died in the presence of Temsik radiation (a special radiation that gives souls special powers).

He gained the powers of the dead, specifically, technology control. On his adventures beating the undead, he met a version of an old titan friend, who had been transported there from an alternate universe, and going under a new hero guise called AKOW. He developed another of his crushes, and unlike other girls, he found that she was attracted to him... even though Hotwire was sort of... dead. Working with ghost cat Sissel, AKOW, and many other heroes they helped defeat the Anti-nexus. When the anti-nexus was defeated. A few who had been dead came back to life. One of these was Hotwire. When he was brought back, AKOW and him began a relationship.

As a result of having the powers of the dead enhancing his technology abilities, Hotwire's resurrection added new abilities to his set. His control of technology wasn't just limited to touch, and he could do much more. He now fights along the titans and AKOW in her home universe.
