Powers: Francesca desptie her feminie appearance is a master swordsman and a deadly hand to hand combat fighter. Training as a member of the US Oympic Fencing team and studying various sword styles has made her a blade master that can match even the greatest. Though she usese various blades, her signature wepaon is her sword cane. If she ever points her cane at an enemy in anger, then they are dead. Her skills in martail arts are also exemplary. A 4th degree black belt and a master in Kung Fu, she can take on even the toughest of fighters bringing them down with a variety of kicks and punches, while gliding throught he air like a deadly bird.


Skills: As she is a graduate of Harvard Law, she is a brilliant lawyer that works in the court system and is capable of using the law to her and her family's advantadge. As she is the Family Underboss, Frankie is effectively the family 2nd in command. She commands a large force of gangsters, thugs, and mobsters that are loyal and obedient to her. This not only gives her sway and contorl in the family but also the ear and confidence of her younger brother Antonio, the family Don.

Equipment: Her sword which she pulls out of her cane by gripping the snake hea dof her cane and twisting it. The sword is a standard japanese katana that can be broken into a pair of smaller nodachi blades with a another quick motion. She carries various blades on her at all times such as throwing knives strapped to a garter on her leg and even her earrings are hidden blades. She will also keep an M1911 automatic holstered in under her coat.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality: Francesca has been said by some to have a duel personailty, but never to her face. One side is the lawyer who is calm, calculating and respectful to all she addresses. This side of her is always prompt, careful, and ready for any breifing or court date she has to attend. During which she will sit quietly and wait to be addressed before speaking. Even if she objects she does so in a respectful and careful tone that accurately expalins her positon, which is why she is so very rarely overuled. Then there is the Underboss side, a side that appears when she leaves the court room.

When she enters her limo and is surrounded by her body guards or at a meeting with her brother and Godfather; this other personality emerges. Francesca the Underboss, is a cold, calculating, and ruthless person who helps run the family with a strict Iron Fist. She will not hesitate to give her orders and looks for ways to destory her enemies as soon as possible. She does work with the other Capos, and leaders in the family guiding them, and advising them in her role as Underboss. Even in this facade she will speak kindly, pure, and sweetly. But do not let this act fool you, it hides a dark and even dangerous smile that is always planning ahead. Like a Queen Cobra, waiting for the right moment......to Bite!

History: Francesca Romano was born the only daughter and eldest child to Don Giovanni Romano. Growing up, she quickly caught on that her father was a powerful and respected man who was always helping others and serving his community at large. For young Francesca, this was what she wanted to do and strove to educate herself mentally and physically to one day aid her father's family. Giovanni was impressed with this, and though he knew he would give the leadership of his family to his only son Antonio, he couldn't help but be amazed by Francesca's want to be a part of his sacred fraterninty. As such he founded her education to the best that he could and also had her taught fencing and kung fu to better focus her mind and body.

When she gradtuated High School Francesca was well aware by this point who her father was and wanted to do all she could to one day help strengthen his fmaily. As such, she was invited to join Harvard Law on a fencing scholarship. There she got nothing but straight A's, making her the apple of her father's eye, and not just his princess. At the same time, she brought great honor to the family when she took part in the Oympic games held in Atlanta, GA. There she won the Gold medal for the US woman's fencing team, an honor she still carries today. When she graduated with her Ph D in Law, she then passed the Bar exam with flying colors. At the point she was officialy made the Romano family lawyer and personal attorney. At the same time, however her hopes to serve the family where great and even her brother and Godfather, then Senior Capo Regime, Leonardo Russo admitted she should ahve a position in the fmaily despite the fact she was a woman.

Her brother, then Underboss himself, and father agreed and thus Francesca was made the family Consigliere. This gave her a postion next to her brother as her father's top two advisors, a position she was more then happy to take. Following the War that saw the fmaily rise to promienece on the national scene and spread across the US, she played her role as advisor and lawyer well; adivising her father on mnoves and making sure the law was always on the Family's side. When her father died shortly after the family's victory in the war, her brother acended to the family headship as Don, something she was fine with as she knew there where some traditions she could not break. However, her brother Antonio did offer her the position as Underboss, a move supported by the new Consigliere Leonardo. Accepting this postion, she and her family went before "The Commission." All the members welcomed the new family leaders, including Francesca. However one "old-timer" like Leonardo objected to a woman having a seat of power such as Underboss in the family. He instantly fell over dead, a knife in his heart, from Francesca's out stretched hand. No one has ever quesitoned her leadership or role, based on her gender since; now she rules the family along side her brother and helps maintain the power base in Gotham along side Antonio and Leonardo.
