Personality: Dagger has a 'justice over law' policy that rivals Batman`s in terms of what he`s willing to do for Justice. He can be overly brutal at times but it is all for Justice, and in his mind that`s what makes it okay. When he is not his aggressive alter ego, Dagger is a well mannered young boy who almost never expresses his emotions.

History: When he was to young to remember, he and his sister were left in an orphanage by his parents who didn`t want more than one child. In the orphanage, an older boy bullied him very hard, sometimes he would intimidate Alex, others he would beat Alex, this made Alex grow a hatred to all those who made those weaker then them suffer. He started reading comic books as an escape, so he could believe that one day, he could be the sidekick of an amazing hero.

One day, Dagger`s older brother, who really wanted younger siblings but the secret of his younger siblings had been kept from him, found out about them and in a mad, alcohol induced, rage killed his parents. He went to the orphanage and tried to adopt them, but he was legally not aloud to because he was underage, this angered him to the point where he kidnapped his siblings and burnt the orphanage down. Dagger, angered by his brothers actions, tried to kill his brother, but failed and accidentally killed his sister.
 
Dagger`s brothers actions attracted the attention of the police, he was desperate to escape so he ran away to Jump city, with his sibling in pursuit. At the time, the titans were busy fighting the brotherhood of evil so there was no one to stop Daggers brother but Dagger, who chased him to an abandoned nuclear power plant. In the ensuing battle, Dagger had an idea and made the weak floor underneath his brother collapse, Dagger`s brother was knocked into a vat of radioactive waste. A few years later Dagger, after getting mugged, got frustrated, his bully, who tormented him for years, his brother, who killed the only family he had ever had and that mugger, who wanted to take someone elses money for himself. His frustration led to fury and his fury led to an idea, he made a suit and became Dagger.

Alright, he's good, but, I don't like that you mention Batman. I'd prefer you replaced him with a police organization or something similar.

It just made sense that Batman would go after Dagger's brother after burning down an orphanage, indirectly killing many children, and directly killing three people.
