The Adventures of Pet Stop

In this pet store you can find any pet you want, from snakes and lizards, to ice and ferrets. We even carry some exotic pets such as hedgehogs and small monkeys! License is required to purchase crocodiles and Fox kits. We even sell hat you will need for your new family member! Toys, collars and kennels! Please allow our helpful staff to assist you in finding the perfect pet for you!

Ok, now that that is out of the way, the story of what this is, Here you can role play as the animals kept in a petstore, any pet is allowed, though if you want to play as an exotic species, you should probably ask first since I don't think you can be a hippo or mini elephant in this shop. Also you can't roleplay as a human, they are NPC's and according to the animals they are almost like gad-like beings, except according to the cats, they think they are servants. This shop looks like any other, but the animals are very good at getting out of their cages and tanks at night to roam the shop and meet up with each other. Their are rules that the creatures of the store have agreed upon.



These rules have been created to ensure that the humans would never be the wiser of the animals nightly adventures.

So, lets start off this role play during the end of the day, when the last of the customers are coming and going and the staff of Pet Stop is getting ready to close up shop by cleaning up the store and caring for the pets. Please feel free to start it up.

A black cat sat in her cage, her tail twitching slightly as she waited for all the humans to go, once the door was closed and locked, her ears hearing the pins in the lock move and lock up, she then put a paw out of her cage and opened her cage door "ah, finally time for some relaxing, rather than looking all fancy and adoptable all day..." she muttered as she jumped out of her cage and onto the floor, looking around to see who else was getting out of their cages.

Under normal circumstances, Mark would have remained in his cage. It was generally easier then having to try and mingle with all the other animals and allowed him to make the most of his truce with the feline hellspawn that stalked the tiny kingdom of Pet Shop; He pretended that they didn't exist, he kept his distance from them and ignored them completely. It wasn't the perfect system; the perfect system would have been that the demonic creatures labeled 'cats' simply stopped existing and died off but such a thing wasn't in his power to achieve.

But today was different. There was a strong, heavenly scent in the air. Hoping along the bottom of his cage, it was merely a matter of practice to open the tiny little door and flutter to the ground a little awkwardly. Hoping along the ground while spreading his wings ever now and then in order to keep balance, Mark followed the heavenly scent of the cooked ringed holy food of humanity. Someone had left a fresh, possibly still warm but okay if it wasn't Donut somewhere in the store and come hell or high water it would be his! The only thing that could possibly get in his way was fear itself!

...And as it turned out when he turned his head upwards, a closed door. Folding his wings back to his sides (his injured one a little slower then the other) Mark simply stared at the wooden barrier between him and his prized donut as if his glare would cause it to burst into flame and force it to cease being a problem.

The black cat had also picked up the scent of the doughnut and followed it, seeing Mark stood in front of the door, she had taken notice of his avoidance of cats, moving carefully towards him as she stared at the door, sitting next to Mark "hm, it seems we have both picked up the delicious human treat, allow me" she said before she jumped up against the door, putting her paws around the door handle and her weight pulling the door handle down, the door slowly opening before she let go and looked to Mark "after you" she said, being polite and trying to show that he needed not to fear her.

Scout looked around the glass cage she was held in and saw that the humans were gone for the night and that the first of the animals had already started the party with out her. She balanced on her hind legs and looked up at the roof of the cage, humming mission impossible theme song to make the escape feel that much more exciting. She placed her front paws on the side of the tank walls and nudged her nose along the top until she felt out where the latch was open. She then climbed into the hammock of her cage and from there pushed at the door with the top of her head and front paws until she slipped out of her enclosure and came tumbling to the floor of the store where she bounced around like a mad weasel for a moment in a victory dance. She then bounded to the hedgehog cage and was her teeth and front paws popped the door open. "Freedom!" She yelled as the gate like door clattered on the counter.

Frostbite looked at her with a face that could only have been saying, you are a very weird animal, and what's worse is you know this. The white pin cushion waddled over to his friend and smiled, "you were humming mission impossible again to escape weren't you?"

"Yes, yes I was." Scout admitted, then laughing the ferret ran around in circles, "Oh! What are we gonna do tonight?! What terror shall we make among the store-goers? What mischief shall we do! Oh the possibilities are endless! MWA HAHAAA!!!"

The hedge hog waddled along the floor now,"that kid with the sugar came in didn't he?"

"YES!" Scout laughed so hard she fell off the counter and hopped around on the floor, then paused when she smelt food,"Human nummies!!!"

Scout took off to where Mark stood and Frostbite smiled and followed. Scout looked between the black bird and the door. "Is this guy giving you problems?" She asked, looking up at the door and nodding her head at Mark. after a second she sighed,"Its like talking to a wall." She joked, hoping to get a response from the bird.

Then as the cat came up she bounced around eagerly and darted in as soon as the door was open, humming Mission impossable again.

It was a testament to the awesome power of holy donuts that Mark didn't notice the arrival of the feline next to him. When she spoke his feathers ruffled as he turned his head to glare in her direction, his body clearly winding up in order to explode at a moments notice if need be. Ignoring the clearly insane ferret for the time being, his eyes remained locked on the cat as the creature went about opening the door. As the door opened he didn't move a muscle towards the opening, letting the ferret be the first to have that honor. Instead, he turned while standing on the spot so that his whole body was pointed towards the demonic fleabag, the scars on his chest visible against his black feathers. Lifting his left wing to point towards the door, the bite mark that prevented it from opening correctly was made visible as well. "By all means, Ladies first." was all he more or less spat out at her.

He wasn't buying her 'polite' act one bit. She just wanted a clear pounce at his back and he knew it.

The cat blinked and stared at Mark for a few moments before she nodded and walked through the door "you have no need to fear me" she said as she noticed the various scars on him"I like fish, not birds" she said before she looked around and tried to sniff around for any food, licking up a little bit of fish dropped from a fishcake.

FrostBite looked at the bird to the cat, almost glad he was unnoticed and waddled after Scout, who no doubt had gone after the fridge and was attempting to get it open.
"Scout! What about rule five! We aren't allowed to eat the human's food!" the hedgehog whispered as he followed the ferret's smell over to the fridge where she was pulling and pushing on the door in an attempt to open it.

"Oh come on, like they really notice that we've been back here!" She finally got the seal the open and the door swung on its hinges to reveal a bright light shining down on all the food and extra lunches the staff had left behind. Scout pulled out an egg sandwich that had clear wrap all around it. With her claws she mad short work of unwrapping it and pushed the bread off ,licking up the mayo and mustard from it. Then she turned her attention to the egg that lay on the other slice and began chomping down on it."Oh man! This is amazing!"

FrostBite frowned but as his tummy rumbled he went over and puled out a snack pack of fruit salad and when it hit the floor the lid popped lose. A grape rolled away from the scene and the prickly little creature chased after it happily. "OH! I love grapes!"

Luxi looked up and hurried over the fridge then looked around and pulled out a plastic tray of peppered salmon and tossed it out of the fridge then looked to the plastic container with milk in it, she then tried to try and lift it out of the fridge.

Always keeping an eye firmly on the cat, not believing its story about liking fish over birds for an instant, Mark slowly walked over to the store bench. Looking up at it for a moment and bracing himself for what was to come Mark unfolded his wings and took off into the air. Thankful that he could fly these short distances without pain, the raven landed on top of the counter before looking around. Spotting his prize a few feet away, Mark happily walked over to the plate that bore the lonely donut. It was more then he had ever hoped for since normally he was only gifted with a quarter of one... by his human...

Suddenly, the thought of eating the normally wonderful offering before him made him feel sick. It just... It just wasn't the same. Sitting down on the bench, Mark just stared at the donut as if it would offer him sage advice on how to make everything go back to the way it was if he sat there and listened long enough. Had he been able to, he would have cried. But he didn't, because he lacked tear ducts. Instead, he simply started to make a soft, crowing noise. Almost as if he was in pain but unable to scream.

The hedge hog turned his attention to the crow first, then waddled over to the ferret who had also noticed the strange noises. The pair looked at each other and then the ferret walked over to the bird. She sat next to the raven and looked between him and the doughnut, fighting back the urge to make a joke she gently placed a paw on the black birds shoulder,"uh, are you ok? Did you get sick?" The weasel like creature looked down at the white hedgie crawling to the base of the counter where he sat, unable to go any closer to them.

Luxi managed to get the milk carton out of the fridge then pulled it over to the small tray of peppered salmon before she licked her lips before looking around, trying to find something to put the milk into before she walked around to where the small group of animals were.

She then noticed the white hedgehog then looked up to the counter, thinking that she might find something on the counter anyway, she then walked up to the white hedgehog and sat behind him "would you like help getting up?" she asked as she started to get ready to jump up onto the counter, planning to help the hedgehog by putting him on her head if he wanted help.

The hedgehog jumped nervously and curled into a tight ball for defense, a moment later he realized how silly that was and uncurled, "Uh, uhm, su-sure." he stuttered, not turning to look at the feline.

The cat smiled at the hedgehog before softly lifting him up onto her head "hold on tight" she said before she jumped onto the counter and put him down near the ferret before she walked along the counter trying to look for a bowl of some sort.

Glancing up from his self loathing in order to look at the ferret who he considered crazy before, Mark simply let out a sign as he returned to staring at the donut before them. "It's not... It's just... I had a wonderful owner, a great life and all the donuts that I could eat. Then some bastard of a cat TRIES TO EAT ME AND I GET THROWN AWAY BECAUSE I SCARED ITS UGLY FACE AND TORE OUT ONE OF HIS EYES IN SELF DEFENSE?!" Losing whatever composer he had before, Mark's feathers began to ruffle as he began shouting, his wings opening up in order to express the emotion better. "AND IT WASN'T EVEN MY OWNER WHO GAVE ME AWAY! HE WAS STAYING AT A FRIENDS HOUSE WHILE HIS PARENTS LEFT THE WINDOW OPEN, THEY TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME SHOWING UP WHEN I WAS FIGHTING KANE AND THEN THEY SIMPLY DROPPED ME OFF AT THE VET AND NEVER CAME BACK!"

Breathing deeply, Mark started to walk around with his wings out, ignoring the pain doing so caused him. "It must have been so HARD for them to drop me off at the vet and simply abandon me there! They didn't have to deal with the pain of never having to see their best friend again! They didn't have to deal with being unable to fly properly anymore! They didn't... They didn't... "

Slowly, Mark lowered his wings and merely sat on the bench, his voice getting softer with every second until he just sat there in silence, his eyes telling the tale of abandonment and betrayal that hurt his far more then the scars ever did.
