Party at the Lake (Everyone invited)

A sharp, sudden static crackle came from the Jukebox, startling all in the room. The TV flickered, showing a static screen with a single flash of a grey, monochrome forest. Any cellphones gave off a strange, but loud whine for a few seconds before it died down. A shadow fell over the room, showing an abnormally tall figure, a black shape walking past the window, casting said shadow

Nina smelt the rose and smiled a little more, noting of how wonderful it smelt before she noticed the dark figure, frowning slightly as she worried her party would be starting to go bad, but she wasn't currently scared, so far it was just a creepy shadow after all, it could just be a trick from another meta for all she knew.

Meanwhile Annie and Ayumu were a little more scared, Annie currently in Ayumu's arms like Shaggy and Scooby-Doo.

Bow was dancing by herself seeing as Ayumu had left her, but she didn't mind. She was in the groove and was having a blast twirling and looking around the room as people were talking. Just being around people made her feel happy. She got a little out of control and started to glow from the happiness bubbling inside her. She was interrupted by a sharp blast which nearly made her jump out of her skin. The lights went dead but, she still had a ring of glow around her. She was frightened and in just a few moments her glow would die away.

As he smiled at Nina and was about to compliment her again, Black jack suddenly got a strange feeling and started to look around again, this time with a strong look on his face. As the lights went out and the staticsound was heard, he his hand instanly went for his inside pocket where he felt a deck of his cards ready and willing to use incase of an emergency. Seeing the sight of Annie and Ayumu he walked over to the girls and stood infornt of them in defiance of the encroaching shadow as if defending them. All the while he silently spoke and mouthed the prayer to St. Michael as he looked angriliy at the shadow as it took shape.

Aleta jumped a bit when the electronics started to wig out and stopped dancing. She got very close to Rex shivering slightly as a dark shadow had gone by a window. By now Aleta was practically clinging to Rex's shirt. As the weird bug stopped, she was still holding onto Rex without realizing it.

Nina stood up from the chair, her fox ears twitching, trying to listen to the slightest of sounds, quickly slipping off her Naruto cosplay outfit to reveal her regular clothes underneath, her plain white t-shirt and black jeans, quickly pulling out her pair of black all-star converse from under the chair, slipping the sandals off and putting the converse on, pulling the bow knot tight on the white shoelaces, placing the rose on the pile of clothes as her five tails then rose up behind her, ready to grab anyone who sneaked up behind her, Nina's Shinto symbol necklace was also visible over the top edge of her shirt, it had the kanji 稲荷大神 written on the top bar and on the lower bar the name Inari Ōkami was written, the blonde hair dye was also starting to already fade out to show Nina's true reddish hair, her gaze drifted to the window then slowly to the door, expecting the figure to be outside and wanting to come in.

Annie and Ayumu looked to Black Jack then looked to each other, then looked to Nina and saw how brave she was trying to be, quickly jumping out of Ayumu's arms Annie then changed to her usual clothes too, the black and white tuxedo morphing into her half black & half white dress, the black and white ribbons going around each of her feet and legs as her demonic and angelic wings came out from her back, shaking her hair and letting down her long, dark brown hair with light brown streaks in it.

Ayumu pretty much just did the same as Nina to reveal her black long sleeved shirt with blue and purple hearts around the edges with a purple punk styled skirt and grey socks that went just past her knees and her black, silk ballet shoes that wrapped around her legs up to her knees and a large, blue, silk bow on the back of her waist, Ayumu then took the ice crown off her head and the bun out of her long black hair, fixing the silver hair clips that held back her long fringe, the ice crown then turning into an ice disk, Ayumu hoped that she could at least distract the figure with it if it planned on attacking.

Shou the black cat was stood next to Black Jack, defending Annie and Ayumu too, his hairs spiked up as he hissed at the shadow and what was happening around the room.

A black figure appeared in the centre of the room for a brief second, revealing an eight foot tall creature, abnormally thin, dressed in a black business suit with plain shirt and red tie. His face was completely blank, no expressions...no features. Just a completely blank, mnnequin-like head with long arms ending in bone-like thin fingers. The figure stayed in the centre of the room for two seconds before disappearing, all electrical equiptment in the room giving out loud whines as he appeared and disappeared

A teen with dark hair, a pale complexion and a peaceful look on his face was sat outside the cabin, on the veranda with a glass of red liquid in his hand, casually taking a sip. He wondered exactly how long it would take the manlings within to go investigating. Honestly, these 'hoomans' were so silly at times, especially holding their gathering in an area much like his homes. Any who had read the stories the manlings had made about him would know he thrived in the forest.

He took another sip of his drink, his back turned towards the door. He also had to admit, for manlings, they did make rather nice refreshments. Though he still prefered his own, hence why thre was a glass bottle of a crimson red liquid next to him, a wine glass held in his pale hand. He didn't even turn when the door opened

Nina was the brave one to step out of the door, defying everyone's orders to stay inside, if there was something dangerous, she had to protect her guests, her heart was pounding as she opened the door then stared at the teen, was he the one who had been doing that? So maybe he was just a meta after all..."h-hello?" she stuttered as she stared at the teen, slowly closing the door behind her to somewhat try to protect her guests.

Annie and Ayumu stared at the door, fearing for their friend as the room became eerily silent, only the distant tick of the grandfather clock in the upstairs hallway could be heard, Annie and Ayumu both waiting for something to happen, a scream, a thud, Nina to come back through the door, anything to stop the silence.

Bow jumped a few feet back when the eerily thin manthing with no face appeared in the middle of the room. Her light completely fading away as fear took over. When the manthing dissapeared again she saw Nina go out the front door. Her sense of adventure took over as she crept silently to the back. She slowly opened the door, stepped outside, and quickly and quietly closed the door behind her. She focused her energy to produce a light illumintating only a three foot radius. She set off for the lake wondering what that thing was. She wanted to protect everyone if it was truly bad but, she also wanted to help it if it were just scared.

Kris was walking around outside, leaning against a tree. He smiled to himself when he saw the scene and decided to walk up to the people outside, "What happened in there?"

As all of them seemed to catch panic with frightened expression by the Jukebox's problem and this sudden crawling shadow,the hawk girl was in the hold of her water glass by the table and wondered off to where Nina was,passing both of Ayumu and Annie its just a skill,nothing more she spoke with a grumble,everybody was uselessly freaking out from this strange and shady appereance.Opening the cabin entrance,her hand lifted up,poking Nina to see this mysterious dude,as peoples were trying to get back on the fun and calm themselves up a little bit Hey look you should get back in there,Okay?! Katera informed to Nina not on the sympathic side though,she felt being chickened wasnt needed now,as she turned to the weird guy and took a speech new on the country huh,great she somehow had guessed,since no Metahuman seemed to crawl around with theirs shadow and the unusual dark tentacles of earlier it sounded funny seeing that on the bird girl's opinion,her reddish eyesight showing no fear at all,beside she is speaking to him,so nothing is wrong.

The teen glanced at Nina when she spoke, icy blue eyes piercing into hers as he took a calm sip in the crimson liquid. Her mind was...interesting, a mythological japanese half-breed? He had some dealings with Kitsune many years ago, and knew some of their ways. But for the most past, he stayed away from them out of respect. He gave no answer to her question, but nodded in greeting to her

Noticing that his glass was empty, he poured himself another glass of the thick red drink. He didn't so much as glance at Kris or Bow as they appeared, having classed them as non-threats. He took another sip of his drink, not moving when Katera showed up. 'So she believes me to be not one of the super-powered humans? This I can understand. I am no manling' he thought, two lumps on his shoulder settling as he took a sip

Nina could feel a presence in her mind and figured the teen must be using some-kind of psychic power to rummage around her head a little, but she didn't mind, he just seemed to want to chill out and he hadn't done any noticeable damage to her mind so she saw him as a guy who just wanted to enjoy the night, she decided to sit next to the teen and gave a friendly smile to him, she had figured that he had found out her name by looking around in her head so she didn't feel the need to introduce herself, she then looked up to Katera, Bow and Kris "you three go enjoy the party, let everyone know that I'm safe and that there's no need to fear, I'll just be out here for a while" she said, her heartbeat returning to normal and her fear starting to fade.

Nina then returned her attention to the teen, having many questions for him, but she didn't want to seem annoying, so she just started with a couple of questions "hey...so...whats your name?...And what's that liquid you're drinking?" she asked, one of her tails scratching an itch that she had on her neck and the others just resting over her shoulders, she couldn't help but stare at the teen...he seemed...strange...but in a good way, she liked how he looked in the suit, very mature and classy..something just drew her to him...and his face...she could defiantly say that he looked very cute, but surely she couldn't be crushing on him at first glance...but those blue eyes too...

Nina quickly shook the thoughts out of her head and just waited for some-sort of response from the teen, meanwhile Annie and Ayumu had relaxed once they saw Katera go out, at least Nina wouldn't be alone, and when they heard Kris they figured she'd be safe and so returned to partying.

Bow turned to go back into the cabin. She glanced at the boy with the piercing blue eyes; they were mesmerizing. She smiled at Kat and then turned to Kris. "Hello! My name is Rainbow! I don't believe we've met, what's your name?" *giggle* It appeared to her that the seeming trouble had past and it was time to start dancing again!

When she got back inside she put her hands to her mouth and shouted, "It's all good everybody! The hostess will just be outside for awhile!" *giggle* Then she thought to herself because of the strange looks she was getting... Maybe that wasn't the way to handle that...
