Catching a snake by its tail is risky (private)

Annabella was scrounging around the junk heaps looking for something.What was unknown really to anybody, no good food was around and no body figure that she would be looking for furniture.She was good on clothes.What most didn't know though was that she was looking for stuff for something.Something close by too.

A mouse scurried up the junk pile that Annabella was on, oblivious to the danger that it had just put itself in.Annabella, however, knew about the little oblivious mouses danger.She smirked and wait til the time was right.The mouse was upwind so it couldn't smell Annabella as it clinged to the peices of junk as it made its way up.

Kristoff walked down the street and decided to go into the Junkyard, he always found cool scraps of junk in here. He was smiling to himself, Symbiote has grown in size rather rapidly and would only keep growing. Kris stood on a junk pile and began to go through it.

The mouse was no more then two feet away when Annabella jumped on it.The mouse shrieked and tried to get away.It had no such luck.Annabella squeezed it til its eyes buldged.She held like that until it stopped.Annabella put it to her ear.She couldn't feel or hear its heart beat.She smiled."Dinner for one."she said.She picked it up and started to eat it tail first.Unlike a snake, should could chew her food.She frowned and shook her head as a peice of metal hit her on the head.She continued to eat her kill though.

To the people near by it might have just sounded like a cat chasing after a mouse down a heap and knocking stuff off on the way down.But if you had payed attention you would have been able to tell that a cat would not have made that much rucuss on the way down...

Kristoff heard something moving around, it was too big to be the usual cat. He jumped down to check it out and found a girl. "You, it's not safe for a young lady to be out around here alone this late," Kris said with actual concern.

Annabella, caught off guard, looked up quickly with half a mouse tail in her mouth.She smiled and slurped up the tail like a noodle.She licked her lip off and enjoyed the blood that she had collected.She chewed up the tail and swallowed it before speaking."Who said I was a young lady bucko?"she smirked.

Kristoff laughed, "Well you seem young, and if you're not a lady, you're the most feminine man I've ever met." He found a golf club, "Now who throws away a perfectly good golf club? Some people are so wasteful."

Annabella rolled her eyes at his first couple of comments.She nodded in agreement at his last couple.She bit off the butt and hind legs of the mouse and chewed it like it was chicken.She would spit out a few bones here and there and put them in a pile behind her.She watched the man with careful eyes.

Kris begins practicing his swing, "Do you have a place to stay?" He asked as he knocked an old golfball well out of the junkyard.

Annabella didn't answer him but by the way her clothes were kind of battered it didn't really look like it.She continued eating her mouse,spitting out bones and putting them aside.

"Stay with me, join Symbiote. You'll be safe, full, and you won't have to worry about safety. Not to mention you'll be in the company of other Metas," Kris smiled at her, extending his hand.

Annabella laughed a little."Your gonna have to do better then that,boy."she said.Within a few seconds Annabella had a diamondback rattlesnake in her lap and was petting it,feeding it the head of the mouse.The rattler gladly excepted the head.

"I'm offering you the gift of safety and no worries, what metahuman besides the Titans can say that?" Kristoff eye'd her carefully, "Not to mention you'll never go hungry, and my name's Kristoff."

"Look,I'm just fine by mysel-"she paused as she looked at the rattler.Annabella frowned.She seemed to be having a conversastion with the snake.A mental one.

"Listen, if you change your mind, find me by the docks, that's where our warehouse is," Kris started to walk away with his new golf club, whistling.

"Wait."she said softly.She sighed."I'll join but no promises on staying."she said softly as she got up, the diamondback rattlesnake wrapping around her arms and shoulders.She walked over to him."On one condition."she said.
