A monster (nebula PM for invite, Manx if she wants)

Tiberius was sneaking through the alleys of the city trying to stop crimes in the area. It didn't take long for him to spot a man mugging someone. Tib charged at them causing the mugger to look at him and the man being mugged to run away. The man ducked just in time to avoid a punch from Tib's claw joint. it hit the wall and caused it to shatter as though hit by a bus it was just as loud too. Tib growled and stomped at him. The man rolled away and tried to run away. Tib spun around and ran after him.

It was a particularly nice day out, enjoying the sun. The way things were here didn’t seem to different to how they were in his own world, it was exactly the same actually just different people. Rex had started to grow accustom to things here, it was a lot easier with Rayne of course. The way they met wasn’t exactly the best way, but he was glad it happened either way. The two had stuck together so far, they were both alone so why not? However, he did feel the need to find some place to stay rather than roaming the streets then dropping wherever. It seemed Rex was the one that had to get this done. There was still one thing that bothered Rex though, the super powers.

Rex wasn’t used to all these people around him having powers and being heroes, usually it was just him along with agents who didn’t have power. They also all look normal for the most part, Rex was used to seeing most E.V.Os all disfigured, the only normal looking ones he could remember were himself and Circe when she wasn’t using her powers, now there could be people with powers and Rex would never even now, unless they changed like Rayne did. The way she changed though was much different from looking at weird E.V.Os though, her hair just changed colors, it was pretty, but she didn’t seem to like it herself. Either way, Rex still had some he had to get used to.

Rex stood sitting on a street bench, the area didn’t look all too great, very slummy, but a lot of places look slummy and necessarily aren’t anyway. Rayne had gone to do something, she wouldn’t tell him what. He waited idly for a while before hearing a shout. He stood up to look down the alley to see what was happening. He saw man running, terror in his eyes, then behind he saw a giant bug running after him. A giant bug? Here? Now Rex is feeling at home. ”Steer clear!” The man looked at him as Rex formed a whole hover bike out of his legs. Panicking, the man hopped into a trash can. Rex drove forward as fast as he could with limited distance between him and the bug and put up the battering ram, aiming to knock the bug down.

Rayna had been walking with Rex, admiring the city. He was her only real friend, after the fight with Mumbo they had stuck together. Rayna smiled at the thought but that smile quickly vanished when she heard Rex yell. She turned around quickly and saw him run off toward a giant bug. Of all the villains to face She thought and shook her head. She closed her eyes, knowing it had changed to its rainbow state. She was ready for action. She shot a rainbow beam towards the bug, making sure it didn't come too close to Rex. She didn't intend to sit idly by during this fight. She was going to be the main attraction, along with her partner.

Tib heard the yell and looked over in time to get hit, he was forced to take a step sideways to keep his balance from the hover car. Tib had enough time to turn toward him and start to realize what was going on when he was hit with the beam and took another step back his armor doing its job keeping the blast from hurting him. Tib roared when he felt the scratch on his shell stepped toward them hissing angrily.

Rex’s eyes widened a bit when he realized that his bashing hadn’t accomplished much against the bug, even worse when Rayna started attacking and it still did nothing. He knew he needed more distance, should’ve just stuck his guns and opened with the smack hands. That’s what his plan was now anyway, one way or another he was going to squish this bug. He raised up his right hand and formed it into the giant metallic fist. He backed up with the bike then let it disappear, returning on foot. He ran forward to perform an uppercut on the insect, this would surely have some affect the giant bug now, he’s beaten up things bigger than this before. At the same time he thought of telling Rayna to back off, this thing could be too tough, but he knew she wouldn’t have it, it was good to have some back up anyway even though he wasn’t exactly used to having it a lot.

Rayna saw her powers weren't doing much of anything. She was not about ti give up though, "Hey Rex back up for a minute I want to try something," She squinted her eyes as she forced herself to use more power. It took a lot of energy and she knew she was going to be tired later but this bug was going down, "Shoot at him or something so I can try this,"

Her hands glowed as she called upon the energy from around her and tried to muster up the power to create a bomb.

Tib raised his cannon and fired at Rayna as he dodged the uppercut and swung the blunt end of his claw around. Tib was using enough force to flip a car if he missed he would have to catch himself. The four poisonous shards of bone flew at Manx like a rifle round. Tib began clicking his mandibles in morse code saying 'you let that thief go'

Rex was a bit thrown off by Rayna, apparently she had some experimental trick, but he couldn’t be bothered with a plan at the moment. He was up close, he couldn’t think too much he had to act or else he’d be dead. He was even more put off by the creatures attack on Rayna. Now it went from apologetic disregard of her plan to worry. He didn’t get as much time to think about it as his attack failed and he was met with the end of the bug’s claw. He flew forward, knocked into the side of the building, causing it to cave in. The claw hurt like hell, the wall hurt a bit more. He planned on taking a moment, but then he remembered Rayna was there, no time to lie around. He got up and rubbed his head, looking intently at the big. ”You’re pretty quick for a big guy.” He donned the humongous punk buster boots and took a giant step forward with his left leg, reeling his right leg back, ”But let’s see you dodge this!” He fired a powerful kick forward toward the bug, it would be hard for someone his size to dodge it, no matter how responsive he was.

Rayna quickly raised a shield to block the oncoming attack and watched as the attack destroyed her shield knocking her backwards a few feet. She stood up getting right back to where she was and summoned the power once more, this time not taking her time. She watched her hands glow like she was holding rainbows and she smiled a little, her power made her some sort of freak but it was helpful. She shot the bomb at the creature, watching the light of energy land at its feet and blow up with extreme force. It was enought to knock a small car back, so the beast should feel the damage Rayna thought hoping she was not wrong. She panted slightly as she tried to recover from the great amoung of energy she just used.

Tib didn't manage to dodge completely and was thrown into the opposite wall going through like a wrecking ball. He pushed off a section of wall but didn't bother getting up before firing the same ammo at Rex. He began standing up hissing at them. Tib walked out of the hole in the building and shook his head to clear it. Tib looked at Rayne and charged with his head lowered slightly so his horn was leading.

Rex felt the satisfied contact of but to bug, knowing it must’ve done a number on him. Maybe he should just step on him and get it over with, but Rex did have his second chance policy. Immediately after sending him forward with his boot, he saw a flash and felt the force knock him back. His boots dissipated and he was knocked into the building again. At least it wasn’t as bad as the last attack. Looking forward he still saw that damn bug up and about, now it was charging at Rayna, he couldn’t have that. The bug was definitely going to be too much for her, he couldn’t let it get within arm’s reach or she’d take a serious hit.

Rex jumped forward, manifesting the boogie pack on his back. Aiming carefully, Rex fired both turbines forward as bola, aimed to wrap around the bug and reel him in and away from Rayna. While doing so he yelled out, ”Get some distance, this thing is too tough!” He focused now on the insect again, standing his ground.

"I got him with that bomb but that takes a lot of energy. I don't know if I can do that again!" She yelled back at him and lept out of the way of the oncoming bug. She created a shield around her so that any impact from Rex's machines and the bug wouldn't hit her. She then shot beam after beam towards the beast intending to knock him back towards Rex where he was sending machines to get him. She kept firing beams, her hair crackling with the energy that was flowing through it.

Hm, maybe I can do that again She thought and continued firing the beams. If she planned on doing it it would need to be when Rex wasn't close to the beast.

Tib flicked his claw out in the way of the bola letting the wrap around his claw which he clicked shut like scissors the claws would cut through steel at the strength he was using. Tibs shell was thickest on his head and shoulders so he wasnt more than slowed down. He slammed the bladed horn into her shield the rifle pointing at her ready for if it went down.

Ooc: neb I was working on the assumption that they were weighted balls attached by some form of cable. And manx I figured they were the same strength as before.

Rex flew backward, giving as much strength as he could to pull back the insect, but his line was cut, there was no use in trying again. Now Rex was frustrated, he was definitely getting tired of being knocked around, he had to do something about him now. He placed his goggles on his eyes and grew the massive punk busters yet again, being the last effective thing to work on him before. Fighting this thing head on stopped working, he had to find a weakness soon or he and Rayna were in for a long ride. He thought maybe some big spray would stop him, but he wasn’t putting all his eggs in that basket.

He rushed forward quickly and raised his right foot. ”That’s it, I’m squishing this bug.” He dropped his foot on the bug, at the same time he switched his goggles to X-Ray vision. He knew bringing the boot down wouldn’t hold him for long, but it would give him some time to really see what made this bug tick.

Rayna watched as Rex attempted to squish the bug and she lowered her shield and darted out of the way. She ran away a few feet and stopped, turning back to face the other two. She summoned up all her strength and watched her hands glow. She could throw that bomb at any minute but she wanted to give Rex some time to analyze the bug. Sitting there gathering energy she knew this bomb might be the end of the battle, Hurry! If I charge up enough energy this may do the trick!"

She concentrated with all she had, her eyes squinted in exertion and her feet planted firmly. The glow from her hands continued to grow brighter as she took in mass amounts of energy to create a very powerful bomb. She waited for the ok from Rex and for him to move.
