| Furi just stood, unsure of what to do. He'd understood the importance of the ceremony, a similar thing was held back on Appoplexia after every major war between clans, where they would all gather to honor the dead and celebrate the surviving warriors for keeping them safe, marking their names down in the clan records for all eternity. Except, the main different between that ceremony and this one is that the ceremonies usually ended with a three day brawl and feast and he highly doubted that was going to happen here.
Especially since Ben had warned him not to start picking fights, something that had annoyed the young Appoplexian, since he'd heard how strong the members of the JLA was and wanted to find out for himself how strong. He also felt a little awkward, as he was stood undisguised, Ben having made him leave the hologram watch back in the Tower. Considering the first reaction that the human people had had to him undisguised was screamign and runnign away until Ben found him, he still felt awkward in his true Tiger-like form.

| Ben smiled as Capricious gave him a kiss and then they walked away from the media while holding Ben by the arm, showing they were together. Many snap photos were taken as they trodded about and then Julie was approached by Wonder Woman while Ben left her for a sec to look for a certain someone. After a good look he thought he saw her, but in some different attire. "Kara?"- Spoiler:
"I think you mean, Powergirl, in public and nope sorry I'm Superwoman, but I could see your confusion since were virtually the same person. She's off on league business right now, but I'm sure if she could've been here for you guys she would've."
Ben looked disappointed, Kara was like a super big sister to him...A really, really, smoking hot big sister, who he sort of had a crush on towards the end of her run with the Titans, but when he was younger he only rememebred her being like a rolemodel to him. "Oh ya, sorry when is Powergirl going to comeback to visit us then and if you're the same person, does that mean you're a clone or something?""Not exactly, it's multiverse thing and when Supergirl upgraded to my mantle I had to upgrade to, so now I'm Superwoman, but I used to be the original Powergirl. Sorry kiddo, but whatever you two had going on, just let it go, you're with a pretty good one already.""Hey, I never said anything about--how did you know---I mean, what makes you think---""You obviously didn't get what I meant by same person. Trust me, I know, and I also know if I was her, I would want you to move on and forget about me."Ben drooped his head as Superwoman placed her palm upon his shoulder. He didn't want to forget about kara, but maybe she was right, it was probably for the best. Suddenly, something really weird happened, upon touching him the Omnitrix began going absolutely haywire as it went into capture mode. Ben didn't realize it until now...This place was crawling with aliens and the Omnitrix was a device programmed to register any foreighn alien DNA. "Uh oh, shut down, code 10!""Erm, is there something wrong with your watch thingy because it looks like it's going to blow up?"The watch ignored Ben's command since it was too busy trying to compute all of the DNA samples near by and in resposne did something that shocked Ben Tennyson greatly; suddenly little yellow beames shot from the device all over and began to scan up and down every alien or different species of creature in attendance. It regestered Martian DNA, Thanagarian DNA, Atlantean DNA, Tamaranian DNA, and of course Kryptonian DNA, plus anyone else in the JLA that wasn't exactly human or native to Earth. After it finished, everyone scanned looked at Ben with a sort of oddly placed expression that said; what did you just do to me!? Meanwhile, he just scratched the back of his head and laughed...Boy, that was rather random and embarrasing, not to mention an invasion of privacy. How was he going to explain that...However, out of all the aliens and people scanned the one that approached him was the most human of all of them, but also seemed to be the most paranoid about the Omnitrix's actions and curious. "What...just..happened."As Batman approached Ben and spoke, he asked in a very serious dark manner that made Ben gulp as he said it. This was going to be a conversation he probably would remember regretting to have for the rest of his life. |

| For fleeting moments, JaK’s blunt disgust made Honest giggle until the shapeshifter realised that JaK was being serious, not sarcastic. A hero, really? I kill one guy, and the next thing you know, he’s a preacher against death and righteousness and blah, blah, blah... I was a part of that mission, too. Hell, I was Marlo Suda! Now, Honest felt himself grow hot with anger until he heard another one––one he knew distinctly above the crowd, and one that had been weathered and grizzled by a harshened state of being... a state of mind. This legend and icon was the most well-known vigilante of his time and, most likely, all of time to come unless more “superheroes” walked the line between stopping crime and punishing crime, the kind who broke political laws for ones higher than most mortal men understood or wanted to even face.
Batman’s. It was Batman’s voice.
"What...just..happened."
Honest, too, felt the shudder in Ben’s countenance and practically hear the quickening skip, skip, skipping, of the young lad’s heart as the eyes of so many idols fell upon him, just because it started whirring and gurgling and flashing a lot of lights. Liev didn’t understand what had just happened for himself, nor did he truly understand the gravity and how important that watch was to alerting “reality...” reality, that is, if a word even existed when everything around he and his colleagues begged to differ, they mostly being inhuman super-beings.
Quickly and with precise, efficient, and spookily conspicuous footwork at to his advantage, Honest snaked through the throngs of people with ease; most in part, no one really seemed to interested in him in particular––it was strange how a guy with no face at all blended so well into the crowd––but as he reached Ben, Honest’s sudden confidence (or, rather, ignorance) shot him right back to his status as a blatant weird-o... that Teen Titan who wasn’t actually a teen, cross-dressed occasionally, and liked to spend his time writing sad poetry and writing in his journal, all the while retaining a flawless complexion of a white baby-powder face and fierce black eyeliner.
...yup. That was Honest, for ya.
“Excuse me,” the golden-eyed actor said politely but confidently as he entered the circle of people that had formed around Ben and his strange alien device, “is there something I can help you with, perhaps, hopefully in short time-lapse? I’m not tech-savvy, nor am I an electronic whiz, but a friend I am, to Ben that is. The Omnitrix is, you see, isn’t malefactory; it has to scope and with so many, it’s no surprise its ‘wants’ are plenty... Erm, in other words, I’m just trying to help here. Not the most physical type am I, but more like that behind-the-scenes guy.”
He stepped next to Ben, gave a sheepish grin at...
BATMAN,
And gave a quick nod, seeing that shaking a legends hand not only sounded dopey and unrealistic, but cheesy and improbable.
“My name’s Honest––uh, I mean Liev. I mean... My name’s Liev, but I am honest...” he coughed, “I’m... kinda acting like an idiot right now, aren’t I? Sorry... protecting Benny’s become a strange sort of second-intuition, even when danger’s not present. Uh... anyways, erm... uh...” Liev stuttered, fluttered, and his belly did a flop as the first thing to head head came out with a plop:
“HEY, CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH, BATMAN? I’M SURE IT WILL BE COOLER THAN LOOKING AT BEN’S FANCY WATCH!” |

| After sufficiently staring Green Arrow down, Riley decided to try to mingle a little bit. Turning to his left, he saw basically the whole of Titan's West, the other Titan's team. He stared immobilized for a moment, unsure what to do. Capricious and Ben were together speaking with the media and were met soon with Honest. After taking a step towards them, considering to engage them in conversation, he felt an intense sense of awkwardness overcome him and decided against the meeting...
Turning quickly back to JaK, Scope hoped that none of the other Titans realized what he was doing. When he met with JaK though, he found that the original Titans were there just talking. Wow!
"Hey guys, what's new?" Scope asked as nonchalantly as he could. He then turned to JaK and whispered sarcastically, "Hey JaK, look at me, just chillin with the real Titans!" he said, finishing with a smirk. Scope quickly realized that JaK was disappointed about something however. After looking for a moment, he thought he found it's source: no Robin...or whatever he calls himself now.
He gave JaK a pat on the back to slightly console him but mostly to bring him back to reality.

| Coming to join JaK and four of the original Teen Titans as Grace walked off to meet Dr. Fate, Will admires the praise he and his team were receiving from all the heroes that have made each made their own impacts in society.

| Ben's mouth was gaping open, and he really didn't know what to say, but if the Titans were animated cartoon characters ( :p ) A chibi version of Ben could definitely be seen cowering in Batman's wake, who was then joined by a chibi version of Liev, who stood in between the two and addressed the Dark Knight for him, but kind of jumbled his words a bit and ended the awkward explanation by asking Batman for his autograph. Batman simply responding by looking at him with a stone cold expression and then back to Ben. "I asked, you, a question."Batman was a man of just a few words, but with those few words he said so much. For example; he thought Honest was wasting his time and didn't feel like wasting more by giving him a response. He dealed with wackos, psychos, the insane. Gittering fanboy like heroes, didn't even get words from the Caped Crusader. He considered what happened with the Omnitrix right now an anomaly he didn't understand and he wanted answers. Liev hadn't really provided him with any and Ben hadn't said anything, so he asked again. This time Ben took a deep breath and spoke up... "Uhh, it's kind of like what Honest was trying to say. This device is called the Omnitrix, to put it simply it automatically records alien DNA and since there's a lot of them here and I'm not originally from this Universe or Earth it took all of their samples at once. Sorry about that, I'm not exactly a pro on working it yet."Batman then contorted his face from stone cold to concerned; a weapon that powerful could be an issue in the future. If anyone could possibly read his mind, they probably would've saw a contingency plan already formulating on how to counter such a weapon, but of course Batman wasn't fully aware of how it worked, so he quietly speculated. Suddenly a hand would grab Batman by the shoulder and then from behind him approached Superman; possibly the greatest of all heroes and was definitely famed to be here in America. "I'm sorry son, Batman isn't exactly known for his manners."As Superman spoke, he referred to Honest and then looked to Ben. He had heard everything via super-hearing of course. "He means well though. That device seems mighty powerful and the fact that you don't know how to fully handle it is...Concerning. Maybe you could let us help you with that."Oh my gosh, Superman was talking to Ben! This world's greatest champion was speaking to him. Then again, Ben considering himself a star and world's greatest hero, never really got star struck anymore. However, with Batman he had just gotten the creeps. Ben shook Superman's hand and smiled politely as Batman still stood silently in the background letting Superman play good cop in the discussion with the watch. "I would if I could; the watch is bonded to my DNA specifically though. So there's not much anyone can do. On my world it's level 12 tech, meaning beyond anyone without the same level intellect's comprehension, but don't worry, so far I've done pretty good with using it to help people." "Well, I think a lot of us would still feel better if we could get a closer look at it, but if you're sure it's not dangerous and you've got it under control. I'm going to trust your judgement and leave the Omnitrix in your hands."Batman then shot Superman a glare that spelled idiotic, but that was probably due to him being cynical of nearly everything and thus did not think a 16 year old who had a slightly older teammate for a babysitter could handle such a device without the proper training. However, it wasn't Batman's place to say this at a ceremony in the boy's honor, so he just walked away without another word. He would just have to be ready for when things went south, like they always did. "Umm, what's his problem?" "I think he likes you guys."Superman said with a smile, probably not wanting to alert them of what Batman really thought about a team that wasn't lead or at least watched by him or anyone he had mentored. |

| As everyone stopped crowding him, Fenrir saw his chance. The crowd had stopped, well, crowding him, because Ben 10's Omnitrix started scanning people in the gathering, so people were a bit wary of him. Fenrir instantly started forward. The famous Ben Tennyson was standing there...Fenrir had to get to him. Fenrir felt...drawn to him, almost.
Fenrir meagerly made his way to Ben 10, and as Batman walked past him, and Fenrir almost shrank under his gaze. He finally reached him, as he was still speaking with Superman, who Fenrir dipped his head to in deep respect. He waited until they were done talking, before very gently tapping Ben's shoulder.
Erm...I'm sorry...Mr. Tennyson...but...ah...there's...look, it's really complicated, but...I think I...know you...
Fenrir waited, knowing that he was being very awkward.

| Flash raised an eyebrow at Tojis cheering fans."Famous much, kid?" Toji cleared his throaght, embarrassed."Er, yah, hehehe. Happens when you take down a few gangs by yourself, I guess." The Flash grinned, clapping his shoulder."Hahaha, I like you, kid. Wanna race? Ive heard you're fast, and I wanna see that for myself." Toji grinned, nodding eagerly."O-of course!!!" Flash laughed."Hahaha, alright. Get ready, set...GOOO!" The two set off, forming a mineture wind storm as they raced past Jak and the three original Titans. | |

| Standing back in the shadows of everything was Superboy. He was simply leaning against a wall, he didn't really care much about being in the public eye, just another way in which he wasn't like Superman. Conner had saw that Batman and Superman had gone to question Ben about what the hell had just happened so he used his super hearing to listen to what they were saying, it seemed like this universe's Superman seemed nicer than the Superman that Conner was cloned from. Still though he decided he'd stay out of the way of everyone.
Conner then jumped up onto the roof of a near by building, making sure that he was definitely out of the way of everyone. While he was up there he saw Toji was "racing" the Flash. It wasn't really a race though because while he was in his pod at Cadmus they gave him information about the limits of what members of the Justice League could do and from what Superboy had seen Toji do compared to what he knew the Flash could do then this race wouldn't even be remotely close

| Juliette tried very, very, VERY hard not to squirm when Superman approached where they were and was silent throughout the entire exchange. Inside she was about to burst, this was all so surreal. In the corner of her eye she saw Conner and she was about to go to him, when he jumped out of her reach and the windstorm a good bit away made her think perhaps Toji was running.

| Brianna was doing her best to be as discreet as possible, practically hiding behind Toji for the ceremony. She couldn't help giving him a look at his posturing, though. He didn't have to encourage the screaming fangirls. The glare dropped as Flash came up, and Brianna didn't know whether to be happy for Toji or terrified of the media, who were closing in vulture-like now that everyone from the immediate vicinity was gone. Brianna's deer-in-the-headlights look must have inspired someone to take pity on her, because a voice from behind the girl made her turn around and the rabid reporters take a few collective steps back. The Titan could have kissed her saviour, until she saw who it was.
'Not used to the spotlight?'
Black Canary. Brianna was suddenly stuck for words, which had never really been a problem before. But with a sharp mental slap from Callum, she managed to carry on some kind of coherent conversation with the Justice League member who she most admired.
'U-Um, yeah. I was never really the attention-loving type.'
'I don't blame you. I'm Black Canary, by the way. It's great to meet you.'
'Brianna. It's an honour.'
***
Shadow was perched in a tree with a decent view, not really wanting to descend into the mushpit of citizens surrounding the Titans. She had felt Batman eyeing her before the ceremony started, but she hadn't been hit by a Batarang or beaten to a pulp, so he'd probably seen the Titan communicator on her belt. Batman wasn't really occupying the forefront of Shadow's mind, though. The guy in the black hoodie was.
There was something way too familiar about him, otherwise Shadow would have just written him off as a drunk bum or something, the way he was falling over. Shadow only glanced a second time as his hair and face were revealed, and she realized that she did know him. He was meant to be dead. He'd been at the tower the day the mirrors had attacked, and she was fairly sure he had been dead. He didn't look very dead now.
Shadow slipped down, not sure what, exactly, she was going to do. Go up to him and ask him why he wasn't in his grave? She didn't think so. And the girl knew from experience that people didn't necessarily stay down once you killed them. So Shadow settled on just watching from a distance as Fenrisúlfr walked up to Ben 10 and Superman. |

| (Did someone say chibi :3) Kunoichi did her best to stay away from the media. What could she say, she was camera shy. She walked around casually not wanting to draw any attention, just bowing smiling and nodding at appreciations and some exclamations here and there. She wished this wouldn't carry on long, she prefered being back at the tower, or stopping crime right now than being in the some what spotlight. Just as she thought she was in the clearing and away from the media, she was stopped by a swarm of them, each with a camera, microphone, or notebook. - Spoiler:
"Hey over here!" "No over here" there was a flash. "Over here!!" Flash! "How does it feel being a Teen Titan?!" "What...?""Is it true you doubted that your team would be victorious against Hollowman?" "Huh...?""How well do you know your team mates?" "Well...I..."Feeling overwhelmed and crowded she covered her head with her arms and closed her eyes. When she realized the voices were gone she looked up and around to see herself on a building roof. The attention, and being in the spotlight, triggered her to use her teleportation. As she looked around she noticed Conner sitting not to far off. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to come out of nowhere like that, I just dont appreciate all the attention." she said rubbing the back of her head.

| Conner looked around as he saw someone else had joined him on the rooftop. "It's fine. I just don't get all this praise, we're just doing what they expect us to do, I mean you don't see us throwing a celebration for a fast food worker who gets the order right." He knew it was a terrible example to use seeing as usually it is a miracle for fast food workers to get orders right but that's not the point. Superboy would then sit on the edge of the roof, looking down at all the heroes who loved to be in the spot light, part of him wondered what they could see in it, it just meant people always getting in the way, possibly asking for autographs while they're trying to do their job. Superboy seemed to feel the total opposite of Superman who didn't really mind the spotlight. | |

| Static wasn’t going to lie. He only really wanted to talk to the Green Lantern – or Starfire, but it would just depress him too much. Nightwing was lucky.
Some of the more introverted members of the team were slowly starting to disappear, but Static followed them with his eyes. And then their line of sight – who the hell was that guy? He still had that feeling that something was going to go wrong; um, hello, Ben’s watch. But before he could make his way towards the commotion, the media took the most inopportune time to corner him. But he hardly wanted to alert them to whatever was going on, because he knew the media, and that they’d warp that poor guy’s story.
“Static! Over here! Tell us about the plane!”
“Oh, uh, you know. All in a day’s work.”
“Static! How’s the transition from Dakota to Jump City?”
“Well, I think Dakota all in all have better Cheese Fries –”
“Where’s Gear nowadays?”
“Extremely busy.”
“Is the adjustment from solo to team mate hard?”
Static was about to answer, yet again, before the Green Lantern did finally make an appearance, shaking Static’s hand. And Static had to admit, he was letting Virgil shine through a bit too much – though as long as he refrained from stating how they’d both make cool comic book characters, he figured he’d be alright. The Green Lantern seemed to follow Static’s urgent line of sight though, and realised that Static was trying to get JaK’s attention.
“Go, I’ll take care of them,” he murmured, and with a grateful if not awestruck ‘Thank you,’ Static nonchalantly crossed to where JaK was. He figured Ben was busy now, so JaK was the better one to target.
“Jak,” he stated, slightly more urgently than normal, “We got a problem,” he finished, slightly jerking his head towards the commotion.

| Conversation continued after Ben's watch had that random mishap and Starfire momentarily departed from them to check and see why she had been scanned by a yellow light. JaK looked back as Scope and Will approached him and his teammate tried to console him. Right afterwards two blurs darted past them, which JaK could only assume was the Flash and Toji. Although, right after they passed him by he was approached by Static and looked across the way to see Ben talking to...What, there's no way!?
....
Meanwhile, Ben's attention was momentarily pulled away from Superman and Honest to some guy. The man said he knew him, but Ben had never seen this guy before in his life and if he had, he didn't recognize him now.
"Uhh, sorry buddy, but I don't recognize the face. What about you Cap, you know him?"
"No, but I Do!"
Suddenly from behind Ben, JaK would shove his way through the crowd and grab Fenrir by the shoulders in an intimidating fashion.
"So tell me, how is it that you're still alive Fen?! Unless of course you're an impostor!"
Then JaK suddenly found himself and the man separated from each other at a blinding pace by Superwoman and Superman. Superman standing in between them, while Superwoman held JaK in a grip that he would never escape via normal means.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa lets not start drama in front of the cameras. Trust me, it's publicity you don't need at an event in your honor."
"Superwoman is right, now lets calm down and talk this out. JaK Sage, what do you mean?"
JaK by all means had never met Superman before, guy was always too busy. However, he knew JaK and Sage knew him by hersay and documentation of deeds, which was good enough an introduction at the moment until a proper one could be had later.
"This guy used to be a member of the Titans East, but was killed in a battle with inverse versions of ourselves from the multiverse."
"Oh ya, that fight I had with the Albedo from that parallel world. I heard a member of Titans East was killed from psychosis later on, but I never knew them personally. But, hey wasn't he an angel or something? Maybe he was revived by some all divine power?"
"If the real Fensuir was revived, trust me, you could tell. He had a certain glow about him, litterally. This is a fail comparison to the real thing. If I had to guess; an assassin posing as one of us to get in close for a kill."
JaK was always cynical, but on days like today, you never knew who could walk into a ceremony with mini-nukes strapped to their chest. |
