| The sky was gray; it would storm tomorrow. Maybe the pour would begin later on in the evening if the parched grass was lucky enough. Still, the threat of rain had not been enough to stop over two hundred students from gathering at the Jump City Public Library. It was about three in the afternoon, and the establishment had another two hours before it would close its doors for the day. Inside, kids and collegiate alike were trying to cram in a few more pages worth of studying in the golden silence of the library. Little did they know that this multi-story place of research would become their mausoleum.
Sandals landed on the ground, making a small indenture in the concrete. These feet belonged to intergalactic mercenary Hail Mary. The one-winged heartless was standing before the entrance of the library, having staked out the location and watched how many humans had entered the institution. This city was a good place to start her genocide efforts within the planet, and this library would be a good place to start her genocide efforts within the city. With ease, she raised her ton heavy javelin and aimed for one of the four supporting pillars of the library. In one swift strike, she'd busted clean through it. Immediately, the building grew not only slanted, but loud with the screams, hollers and lamentations of a trapped and doomed people.
She had three more supporting pillars to knock out, but the library would probably crumble under its own weight after taking out the next one or two stone cylinders. There was certainly nothing anyone on the inside of the building could do to stop her; to come out and face #002 would spell death for any mere mortal. So all they could do was wait for her to finish the job and hope that when the ceiling came crashing down on top of them and ground them into the concrete foundation underneath, it would be quick and painless.

| Mr. Pacific ran through the doors of the library. This alien was trying to take down the building! He had already called for backup, and now he needed to stop her from breaking more pillars.
"What do you want? Why are you doing this?" Pacific said, trying to stall for time. "There is a better way to resolve whatever your issues are." |

| "Teen Lantern answering the call, ETA in under 2 minutes. I've got the Vampire Queen with me too. What's going on? And whatever it is I hope you can handle it until we get there." Mark Rowan could be seen talking into his ring while he flew towards the Jump City public library with friend and teammate, Marceline at his side. The Blue Lantern had just received the call, but even he couldn't fly that fast since his ring was limited without willpower to supe it up. He knew Pacific could handle himself, however, so he kept hope alive that nothing too bad would happen until they arrived. | |

| Nikki jumped from roof top to roof top till she reached the library. She was already in her ferret form and came crashing through the doors, ready to fight who ever was causing all the trouble. As she walked in, several civilians ran out, trying to escape being crushed.
Nikki transformed into her human self and looked around to find out who was knocking what around. "Ok, Pacific, what's going -"she stopped as she saw the one winged alien,"Oh, never mind. found it."

| she could feel the tension in the air, the smell of adventure. she may be tired but she was pumped on what she will face, she fought Elemental's,walls of flesh,Crystal Guardians , Brain Beasts and such. she glided behind mark and admire the skyscrapers. the last skyscraper she knows is all ruined and destroyed with a dead helicopter on top. shes starting to like Ooo more, more open space and no rules. she is not really hurrying since she doesn't really care if a person dies but would help them if their in distress. she stayed close to mark as she looked on ahead scanning for any carnage. |

| 002 stopped to analyze the two that had come to oppose her. One was a mere human; he was no threat. If he opposed her then he would only ensure an early termination for himself. The other was more than human, but still not enough to cause Hail Mary's short-term objective to change. The android was still going to topple this building. After that, she'd deal with these two interlopers.
Pacific's attempt at stalling had failed because Hail Mary couldn't respond to him anyway; she didn't speak. Calmly, the android walked over to the next supporting pillar, acting almost as if Pacific and Nikita didn't exist. Inside, people were still screaming loudly. Where were the titans?! Why wasn't anyone doing anything to stop this monster?! She lifted her javelin high and swung hard, completely blowing out the second support pillar. It was enough to bring the library down.
The yells of those inside intensified ten-fold as gravity brought them down without mercy. First, one half of the library crashed into the concrete foundation. Inside, people tried holding onto the heavy bookshelves to keep from slamming into the glass windows, but those same fixtures fell over too. Some of those inside were, sadly, crushed under the weight of the huge wooden inventions. The force with which the edifice slammed into the Earth was enough to collapse the ceiling in on itself, causing the concrete above to rain down on the fleshy beings below. A thick cloud of dust rose, carrying with it the souls of about 75% of the library's inhabitants.
But not everyone was a causality of the attack! There were some survivors of the library's destruction. Those survivors - about eight of them - required immediate medical attention if they hoped to live. They were buried beneath the rubble, making small noises and trying to call for help.
After watching the Jump City Public Library go down, the one-winged angel turned around to face Pacific and Nikita. She started to walk toward them, wielding her one ton javelin in her right arm.

| No. They had been too late. The Night Hawks had failed to stop this one-winged angel from destroying the library. Pacific had failed. Now people were dead because of his failure.
Amazingly, Pacific was unharmed, but he almost didn't care at this point. The angel was walking towards him and Nikki. It looked as though it didn't even see them as living things.
This monster had to be stopped. It was always tragic when he had to resort to violence, but this angel had made its intent known and unchangeable.
The angel had a mask, so Pacific was sure that his Mace spray would do no good. Instead, he pulled out his nunchucks. How did you fight something like this? It had just taken down a building. Pacific didn't even think Alpha Knight was that strong.
Running foreward, Pacific juked from side to side, hoping to prevent his enemy from spearing him. He then ducked low and sent one of his nunchucks crashing into her ankle. The attack would have broken a normal human's bone, but Pacific knew this thing was far from human. He only hoped it would have some small affect on her. |

| Alpha flew through the air towards the library. "I'm on my way," he said into his comm. He flew faster, seeing the carnage the one-winged alien monster had caused. Most of the building had crumbled; Alpha had a sinking feeling that the Hawks were too late. But perhaps the monster could still be subdued..maybe. | |

| Haruhi ran as fast as she could and then jumped into an alley, using both walls she made her way to the roof and continued to make her way to the public library. She stopped at the edge of a building to see half of the library collapse. She heard the screams of the civilians and then the crash as rubble and parts of the walls hit the ground. The screaming subsided and all she could hear were moans and only a bit of people inside from inside.
"Oh no..."she felt she was to late. She felt horror and panic but kept a somewhat calm composure. She jumped off the building and headed towards the collapsed building and made her way in through a cracked, open window. She caught the sight of Mr. Pacific, and Nikki, and then what she assumed was the cause of this mayhem. She had a mask, one wing and was wielding a javelin. This was going to be very difficult and was probably one of the hardest villains her team had and will ever face.

| Noooo,No,No,NO,NOOoOo!! Mark's eyes widened and he nearly dropped out of the sky as he arrived at the scene with Marceline. Two minutes, that's all he needed to have gotten there to stop this in time and he was two minutes...Too late. His hope had nearly died, which was the source of his power and as he touched down on the ground he rolled and nearly face planted on the floor as his power ring went dim. Then getting back to all fours while Marceline floated by him he spoke. "We didn't make it Mar...The JC Public Library, it's gone...All those people....Mr. Pacific!? He could be..." Although, just then the power ring on his hand reported that sentient life could be detected. Much of what they were feeling was fear. This is all that Mark needed, to get some inkling of his power back. Hope was still alive as long as those people lived as well.
"Actually, I can feel that there's still some folk there that are breathing, I gotta rescue them. Quick Marc you go find Mr. Pacific with Alpha and the others, try to stop whatever did this. I'm going to help these people before anything else happens." That being said, Mark flew up with the spark of hope renewed to some degree, but still his light seemed to be flickering as he rocketed towards the crash site. Upon arrival he immediately stuck his hand into the air and stood erect while two pointy pyramid like tops formed at the base and tip of his body. Afterwards he began to rotate at an extremely fast rate like a big blue white drill and dug into the rubble in search of the injured pedestrians.

| "your not alone in this" she flew over to the rubble she could smell blood mix with mud meaning that some were dead but she smell clean blood meaning that some are alive but hurt. With her telekinesis she lifted massive pieces of derbies into the air, revealing people that looked up in fear from the rubble that continue to rise. it was heavy, about several tons and she wouldn't hold much more. like a swirling galaxy marceline hovers over to what appears and one wing angle. she never used her powers this much before, it was long time ago when she did during the aftermath of the mushroom war. she separated nails and broken glass from the rubble and been shot like speeding bullets at the alien. she was reaching her limit so she put rest of the derbies on the ground. |

| Hail Mary ceased movement as the man approached her with his pathetic, Earth-made weapon. She saw no threat in any attack he was about to administer, and so she didn't immediately react in an effort to defend herself. His nun-chucks crashed into her ankle, making a clinking sound as they tapped against her cold, metal exterior. If Mr. Pacific observed the strange sound, then he'd know now that this was no flesh and blood creature he was confronting. 002 felt it, but reacted in no way.
Since she'd let him attack, it was now her turn to attack. Using the same leg that he tried to strike down, Hail Mary would attempt to kick her new target. She went for a straight shot to his chest, moving at a moderate pace; the goal wasn't to crush him... yet. Just to get him out of her face.
But now there were more of them coming. They were much stronger than the one who initially tried to negotiate with her - the same one who had attacked her. These were no normal humans. Hail Mary's data hadn't accounted for these stronger beings, but it didn't matter. She could still dispose of them and complete her mission.
To her surprise, the majority of them seemed to be more interested in saving the few lives which were already probably going to die. What a weak and pathetic race of mortals. Them and their feelings and emotions. Only one was smart enough (or stupid enough) to actually try to attack 002 in follow up of Mr. Pacific's earlier assault. But the gray-skinned, skinny girl looked to be struggling as she sustained the levitation of a chunk of cement that weighed a great deal. Hail Mary raised her specially-crafted weapon and ready it for defense.
Marceline separated shards of glass and tack-like construction materials from the hunk of crap she was in charge of. Hail Mary began to rotate her javelin extremely fast before her entire self, deflecting each of the projectiles hurled at her. And once that was expended, the gray-skinned one had to relieve herself by dropping the rock. She appeared spent; almost like she had never exerted herself in such a way before. Since she was almost at her limit and presumably exhausted, Hail Mary would take this time to counterattack.
She held her javelin like a rod and tossed in a perfectly straight line at the re-cooperating Marceline like a spear.

| Alpha, just barely making it to the scene of the attack, saw the alien flinging it's weapon at his teammate, Marceline. Speeding forward, he threw his blade at the machine, and landed to the other side of it. | |

| It didn't work. Pacific's attack bounced off of the angel like a toy. This was bad. The angel kicked him in the chest, sending him flying through the air towards the rubble. He certainly hoped that somebody caught him, but he would understand if they didn't.
He needed a plan... |

| Haruhi saw Mr. Pacific be sent flying back as he was hit by the alien being. Reacting she jumped towards him and caught him from the back before he hit the ground or the rubble. Setting him down on her knees as she knelled down, she worried if he was injured. "Are you okay?" She asked concerned, he was their Leader after all.
