The Reaper in the Park (open to all! Please join)

"Get out of my way, nerd!" an arm elbowed the girl out of his way, knocking her to the ground.

"Hey! Not cool!" Quinn picked herself up, facing the "attacker". She didn't seem happy. Scratch that. She wasn't happy. In fact, she was sick of it. Getting pushed around by older people. Stuck in middle school, where everything was easy. Did she dare to do this?

Yep, she did. A dark cloaked Grim Reaper raised a scythe over his head, in the direction of the boy. Quinn saw him start panicking. The Reaper cut the scythe through the air and was about to strike him… just before he got away. Perfect timing.

Quinn snickered, watching the boy scramble away. Her snicker turned into a giggle. The Grim Reaper vanished. "Victory!" she punched the air. It just felt so good. To get them back, after all those years.

Until she turned around. There was a figure in the distance. She gulped.

Interesting. The Hat had been right. This girl did have powers, although they were obviously still in the early stages of development. She had created an illusion of some sort reaper to scare away that boy.

Cute.

Mr. Slaughter stood behind Quinn. He was wearing his full-body armor, even though it was full daylight. His superiors had decided that subterfuge was no longer necessary. Besides, the people of this city had to learn what happened to 'special people.'

The girl would make an excellent test subject, or possibly even an agent. The bosses had been telling Slaughter to be on the lookout for someone young, with still-developing powers. Such a specimen was needed for something. Slaughter didn't know what, and he didn't care.

People stared as Mr. Slaughter walked up to Quinn, his massive great-axe resting on his shoulder. "You have quite a talent, girl," the hulking, armored man said. "You should be putting those powers to good use. Come with me. There is someone you should meet."

A small brown mutt with a tuft of spiky caramel-colored hair and a silver, crown shaped charm hanging from a silver chain around his neck peeked out from behind a nearby tree towards the young girl and the ax-weilding man, ears perked in interest. His keen hearing picked up the words of the man trying to get the girl to come with him.
Wonder what that guy's got up his sleeve. Guess it's up to me to find out.
The mutt then pricked his ears as he walked a little closer to the pair, trying to stay as inconspicuous as possible. As a shapeshifter, he knew better than to be careless. After less than a week in Jump City, he had figured out a few of his powers, like the superspeed, the ice bullets, and shifting into the brown mutt whose form he had assumed moments ago when he spotted the girl and the axe-man. Though his powers were still developing, he was getting a hang of at least controlling his powers to a minimum.

Quinn turned around nervously, staring at the man in front of her. "What do you mean 'good use'?" she asked, still kind of nervous. Why did people have to bother just after a bit of fun? Scaring a bully from school seemed a bit cool, until this happened.

Kind of similar to a horror movie when someone gains powers of sort. Then when they reveal them in public, something happens.

Maybe her life was turning into a movie. Maybe weird video cameras were following her around. Maybe everything in the world was meant to be here just for a movie. And she was just a character to be followed around. And everything had a place, just like that brown dog nearby.

"W-who's t-this guy, anyway?"

Slaughter could practically feel the fear coming off the girl. His violent nature raised his blood pressure. He wasn't allowed to hurt the girl unless she tried attacking him. He hoped she attacked.

"Oh come now. You didn't really think that you could use your powers in public and get away with it, did you? The world is changing. There can be no more rogues. The government may have use of your 'special skills.' It's not like you have a choice in the matter. Now come with me."

Alan was walking thorough the park with his supplies for making his violens thinking how different this "USA" was so different from musella.He was going over what he had learned from talking with cathey when he heard a man say to a young girl that the government could have use of her skills and that she had no choice to come with him. This confused him cathey had explained that this lands people where free and that the government could not take people without cause. Unsure of what to do Alan sat his supplies down and begain to play his violence by a bench watching and ready to swich to his musical spells if need be. Alan began to look around and notice a dog that seemed to be interested in the girl's conversation with the man as well

What kind of guy holds an axe in the park, walks up to some girl, and tells her the government could "use her"? Time to let this guy know that he can't do whatever he wants!
Leaping forward, Ice sunk his teeth into the axe-man's leg as hard as he could. The man's skin was extremely tough, causing Ice to let go quickly to avoid hurting himself. He glanced up at the man's axe, and, giving a dogish smirk, leapt up to grab the handle in his teeth, struggling to wrench it free of the man's grasp.

A dog had bitten Mr. Slaughter's leg. Of course, the teeth did not pierce through his tough skin. Mr. Slaughter watched in wonder as the dog jumped up and tried to wrestle his axe away.

Strange.

Having the strength of ten men, Slaughter was easily able to hold on to his weapon, but this dog was annoying. Slaughter slammed the weapon down on the ground. If the dog didn't let go, it would be crushed beneath the great-axe.

Not good!
Letting go of the axe, Ice hit the ground and scrambled away moments before the axe head could crush his spine. Baring his teeth, Ice flipped around and faced the man. Realizing that he couldn't fight the man in this form, Ice focused his energy and attempted to morph back to his human form. But instead of changing back to a human, Ice's legs grew longer and thinner as he was enveloped in bluish white light. His paws hardened and thinned, his tail shrank and fanned out, his body grew longer, and his skull changed into a different shape. Two thin, sturdy objects branched out from the top of his skull as the bluish light dimmed. The transformation had taken less than a few seconds. The last of the light disappeared to reveal a young stag, with the same chain and tuft of hair. Looking at his new body in shock, it only took moments for Ice to figure out what he could do in this form. He lowered his head and charged at the man with full force.

Even Mr. Slaughter had to be surprised when the dog turned into a deer. He let his jaw drop open a little in shock. Something was going on, here. Was this only an illusion produced by the girl? If so, then Slaughter owed her a hard slap.

"Enough of your illusions. I cannot be defeated by such pathetic efforts."

Slaughter swung his axe to hit the stag's side before it rammed him. The unfortunate thing about deer was that they were too linear. Slaughter doubted that it would be able to dodge his attack, at least not without slamming itself into the ground. Slaughter braced himself for impact.

Luck arched an eyebrow at the dog. What was happening? How did she get stuck into this. Shaking her head, she repositioned her backpack, deciding that this was the best time to make a run for it. Spotting a cluster of trees, she knew where to run.

Probability of survival: Quite low. Darn it. She was probably going to die. Maybe running wouldn't be the best idea.

"I didn't even make an illusion like that!" Quinn shouted out, gripping her fedora tightly. If I'm going to die, at least I should be wearing a fedora she thought to herself. "In fact, I can't even keep an illusion for that long."

Oops. What has she done now?

Seeing the axe coming, Ice thought fast. Knowing he wouldn't be able to stop or turn, he kicked as hard as possible off the ground and went sailing over the man's head moments before the axe could cut off his legs. But Ice hadn't had enough space between him and the man to make the jump. His back legs hit the man's head, causing Ice to flip through the air. He hit the ground hard, his front right leg getting the brunt of the impact. Struggling to get up, Ice limped to a standing position. He knew he couldn't defeat this guy, but maybe he could distract him until the girl could get away. Jumping in front of the girl with a grunt of pain, Ice stared the man in the eyes. The message was clear- "You want the girl? You're gonna have to take me down first."

Alan saw the dog attack the mans ax only for the man to bring it down trying to smash the dog only for it to let go and then it changing into a stag and charging the man. Who swung his ax after saying something to the girl this was enough for Alan. He raced twoard the man swiching his violins tune to the forwarning music of the musical knights and saw the deer limp in front of the girl and say he would not let the man take the girl without defeating him. Alan sent two knights charging the man with the ax and had the othere three to make a triganle around the boy and girl as he said "That goes for me as well."

Ice looked around hastily, a little wary of all the new faces. Realizing they were on the same side, Ice quickly turned his attention back to the man. Taking his weight on three legs, he reared back and bashed his left hoof down as hard as he could on the handle of the axe. If it worked, the head of the axe would crash off. If it didn't... well, there were worse outcomes that Ice could go through, right?

"...Wakovma..." a shroud of pure darkness engulf necroma as she hid in the ally way shadows. she could see the man they meant in the sewers. he seem to be having some difficulty on whatever hes doing. she could help him a little bit, she raised her staff a bit and send a thought to it making it speak in a soft humming whisper out of its mouth "...Sorin Lakov..." the wind churned and the ground ripple in a semicircle in front of the axe man and the deer. 10 undead samurais, their armor are black and wrecked from ages of battle, and their swords dull and chipped rose slowly from the ground. Then they stood in salute waiting for command."kill the deer and the music man, also give regards to slaughter" Necroma whispers as she hid deeper into the shadows as the samurais began to march, 4 of themheading to the muic knights while the other six went to help out slaughter.
