Avatar: War of the 4 Kingdoms (Always Open)

Republican City, loud, small cars and horses running through town. People walking through town for fun, to survive, or to go to there next Pro-Bending practice. Many people here were benders, some knew how to control there powers some didn't.

There weren't much air benders around in Republican City, at least none that Akari knew of. She sneaked out of her house once and while to see the Pro Bending at work. Her dad always said she shouldn't go because of the dangerous people out there. Her mom agreed with her dad, as usual, and wouldn't let her go. Akari, not wanting to take orders, quietly glided out of her window to go. every time she went she was amazed at the skill of these people.

Sometimes her parents found out and punished her by not letting her wander the streets, or to glide to the ocean (which was horrible to her). Freedom was what she searched for, what she trained for, and she was going to finally get it.

Akari was in her kitchen, finishing soup for dinner. She poured the soup into five wooden bowls and walked over to the table where her family was having a nice conversation. She passed her dad and mom and set down there bowls. When she past her brother and sister she rubbed there heads, set there bowls down, and sat down.

Akari smiled an accepted the thanks from her family with a smile. The family sat cheerfully in there home eating and telling stories. Akari's dad brought up the Avatar and how many people are now looking for the Avatar and had no luck. People are looking back in the ice bergs too like Aang, one of Akari's ancestors.

After everyone was done Akari's mom and dad sent the two little ones to bed. The dining room was silent with Akari's parents on one side of the table with Akari on the other.

" Akari, We both thought long and hard about your suggestion last week and." Akari's mom said holding on to her husbands fore arm.

" We are allowing you to head off to Ba Sing Sae. We are letting you start your journey." Akari's father finished for her mother.

Akari jumped up, her eyes filled with excitement, which was odd since she was usually ever so quiet.

" On one condition," Akari's father said putting his hand up, " You make sure to stay safe and that everyone gets freedom." Akari's dad said while putting his arms out catching Akari in a hug.

Akari walked over to her mother and hugged her too and ran up to her room throwing all she'll need for her long journey.

The next day Akari was waving goodbye to her family. She was on a boat to Ba Sing Sae, the beginning to her journey. As the boat arrived Akari threw her backpack on her back which looked odd with her dress.

She walked up to the tall gates and entered being pushed a little bit here and there. She didn't know where to start. She did want to relax though, it would be nice after a long boat ride. Akari walked to the tea shop smiling, she loves tea!

Toji blinked."Okay, sure."He followed the woman back outside, tossing the rest of the money to her."Here you go.Thanks for the help. I'll see ya around."Saluting her, he grinned, stomping the ground to make a rock board.Swinging his arms, he sped off into the sunset.

Two days later, he stepped off the boat into Bae Sing Sae, grinning."Time to become the greatest bounty hunter ever!!!"He'd been inspired by that woman he'd meet last time. Seeing a nearby tea shop, he grinned, jiggling his pocket."Enough for a glass or two."Bumping into a girl, he winced."Aaah, my apologies."Walking past her, he groaned as he heard a all to familiar voice."Hey, runt!"Sighing, Toji turns around, glaring at the fire bender gang."Not you guys.Go away."The leader snarled."Not a chance."He threw a fireball. Stomping the ground, Toji grinned as his earth barrier blocked it.Punching the rock, he sent a ball of earth at the leader,who stepped aside, letting a cronie take the attack.Growling, Toji punched the ground, making the earth beneath the bandits quake, following up with a barrage of rock balls.

Akari grunted as another person bumped into her, a little harder though. She turned to see an earth bender and a couple fire benders fighting. When a fire bender threw a fire ball and missed the earth bender it came towards Akari and set the bottom of her dress on fire. She swiped her hand down and the fire went out. She turned to the Earth Bender and smiled.

"May I join you?" Akari asked pulling out her two fans and getting in a battle position. Obviously she knew who was the good guy and who was the bad guy. She was here to help, then afterwards she would get some tea.

Toji grinned."Sure!"His face paled."Watch out!!"Slapping the side of the barrier, he moved it over to the girl, blocking a fire ball.He grunted as a fireball slammed into his armor, knocking him back.Growling, he pulled out his sword."That's it, I'm done!Time for the sand serpent!!"Dragging his sword on the ground, he formed this huge snake made out of sand and rock."Fear me, punks!!!"

Akari smirked at her Allie had a more powerful move up his sleeve. People were standing in a circle watching the battle take place in shock and amazement. Akari flipped her fans and moved them in a swirling motion causing the sand around them to cover the area like a fog. Now Her Allie can give a sneak attack.

As the bandits coughed from the sand, Toji waved his sword forward, causing his attack to charge.As the snake reached the thugs, he waved his sword in a circle, causing the snake to trap them in its coils.Grinned, Toji stomped the ground, then twisted his foot, do that the thugs fell into a deep hole."Hahaha, you getting that sinking feeling, fools?"He turns to his ally, pumping his fist."Great job!!We work well together!"He thinks about something."Say, would you be looking for a bodyguard, or traveling companion?"

Akari didn't say much, but her black eyes sparkled. "A Traveling companion? That's so cool!!!" Akari thought to herself opening her mouth slowly. "I would love too! A Traveling Companion would be amazing! Anything you're doing or looking for?" Akari asked with excitement flipping her fans, catching them, then shoving them into her belt.

Toji shrugged."I'm on a mission to find the Avatar."He flipped his sword confidently."I'm up for anything, though I was planning to become a bounty hunter."Holding the door to the tea place open, gesturing to Akari."May my lady cone inside?"

"Oh wow! So many people are looking for the avatar. That would be fun." Akari responded smiling and nodding slightly while walking into the tea shop. She stuck her hands into the cuffs of her dress and sat down on a mat, smiling at her new traveling partner.

Toji grinned back at her, reaching beneath his armor for the money he had gotten for gaurding a rich farmer's jouse while he was gone for a few days."Waiter, I'll have some sugared tea, and make it cold, please." The waiter wrinkled his nose snobbily at the young warrior. Ignoring it, Toji turns back to his new comrade."Anything you want? My treat!!"

"Herbal tea please." Akari asked kindly crossing her legs. "So, Where are we heading first? Any places to search for this Avatar?" Akari asked in a small voice, she's still not used to this mans company.

Toji shrugged." I don't know. I'm just wandering place from place. That's why I figured on becoming a bounty hunter. That way, I'd have a bit more purpose. Since I have no clues whatsoever, that's my best bet."As the herbal tea arrives, Toji passes it to her."What about you?"

Akari accepts the tea and takes a sip. "Well what kind of bender was the Avatar last time. There's an order the benders come in and if we can figure out which kind of bender it will become we can start there." Akari blurts out quickly, becoming un comfortable quickly.

Toji thought to himself, sorting through the various lessons the old man had drilled him in."I'd say the Air Country!!!That whould be easy enough to reach!!!" He grinned, jumping up and pointing to a random direction."To the air country, to find the Avatar!!!"
