Rules & Regulations"MUST READ"
Spoiler:
#1 Do not kill other peoples character unless they approve of it. Or the NPC characters unless I approve of it. No one should be murdering the Fire Lord or the Earth King without my approval.
#2 Your character is NOT all powerful. Do not have them raising tsunami waves that can wipe out a city, leveling mountains with Earthquakes or detonating volcanoes.
#3 None of us are the Avatar, we are searching for him. No one can bend more than one element I don't care who you are. And you should be weakened by certain things such as: Fire benders are weaker at night, Water benders need water around them to bend (Not air vapor), Air benders can't fly without a glider, Earth benders have issues bending loose substances like mud and sand.
#4 You do not have to be a bender or even be chosen for expedition. You can just be a traveler or really whatever you want to be. Except for the canon characters that I will list.
#5 You can travel with a small group if you want or with an animal, but you must include these extra beings in your application.
#6 Water benders can only blood bend during the full moon and can only bend the ocean waves at night with difficulty. Also only a select few and experienced Fire and Earth benders should be able to bend metal and shoot lighting. I know I said you guys were chosen ones, but at least make it seem like you're not experts.
#7 The Air Nomads are back yes, but they are few in numbers only around a hundred or so; if even that many. I'd say twenty or thirty or so more people at each temple, and ya they are all in some way related to Aang and Katara.
#8 We are no longer in the age of horses, spears and bows, but they are still used from time to time. It's more now so armored horses, small cars, bayonets, cross bows, canons etc...
#9 No one is to find the trinket or the Avatar or even see them, you can here stories about both of them or maybe meet someone who says they've seen or met the kid, but do not go any farther than that. I will reveal when were going to find both of them.
#10 Don't be afraid to let your characters be very involved with the storyline, for example; you can be son of the fire lord or be a hired assassin to kill the chosen ones and the Avatar, I don't mind any of that at all.
(The point of this RPG more or less is to look for the Avatar but not find him, deal with the war between nations, and fight one another. That being said have fun and be creative.)
"Water. Earth. Fire. & Air. Long ago, in a distant land, there were four nations in tune with the elements of their planet. Each of the nations having a select few of their inhabitatns that were so connected with nature that they could actually control and master one of the the elements. As the nations grew and their ability and mastery over their own element grew as well, it became a way of life, so ingrained in their living that bending nature to their will was as accepted as the coming of the seasons. But of all the nations there was only one that could master each of the elements and become supreme spiritual being known as, The Avatar. Throughout the centuries there would be many vessels for The Avatar coming from each nation in a cycle. Although there has always only been one entity. Thus eveytime one of The Avatar's died, be it by natural causes or in battle or maybe averting a natural disaster, the entity would immediately be reincarnated into a child born in the next elemental kingdom continuing the cycle.
For most The Avatar was a beacon of peace, tranquility, and hope. Not many wars broke out this world due to whichever natiton held The Avatar at that time having an instant advantage over other nations. This was until after the death of Avatar Roku of the Fire Nation. Immediately following his demise Fire Lord, Sozin mounted an attack on the next element while the predecessing Avatar was still young, the Air Nomads. Each of their temples being wiped out completely until the Air Nomads were brought to the brink of extinction. Only one of them surviving, and it would just so happen that one survivor would be Aang, The Avatar, and at the time the last Airbender. Some considered him the best of all The Avatars, for it was he who would end the sadistic and merciless rule of the Fire Nation over all the other Kingdoms and returned things back to the peaceful state for many years to come afterwards. The following Avatar after him being Korra, a bender from the Water Tribes. Her legend being known to all recent inhabitants of every nation since she was the most recent Avatar to pass from this life and into the spirit realm.
Now the next Avatar in the cycle was to come from the Earth Kingdom, however, on the day of the discovery of which infant was the spiritual entity. The baby went missing! Kidnapped during the night and never seen from again for years afterwards. Although, there has always been tellings and falsified stories for sightings of a child that could bend more than one element from time to time. The Earth Kingdom was enraged by this blaming the Water Tribes for the kidnapping. Stating that like the Fire Nation many years ago they wanted to retain their dominance over the other nations and sought to do so by concealing The Avatar as one of their own, then use it agasint them once it matured. The Water Tribes were appauled by the accusations and instead pointed the accusing finger at the Fire Nation. Stating they were the one's to have done the most dreaded types of acts like this in the past. The Fire Nation taking offense pointed to the newly reformed Air Nomads, citing they had the most to gain from doing such a thing and knew the Fire Nation would be blamed. That they wanted to take revenge on the Fire Nation for nearly wiping out their civilization so many year ago.
These arguments and accusations went back and forwardth for a few years until finally the four kingdoms were brought to the brink of war. Attacks and offensives being mounted over every border and territory crossed. Each nation at the other's throats and defiling one another's name like they were the filth of the lowest animals on the planet. Eventually it was discovered that one of the past Avatar's prized jewels that had been hidden away and only revealed itself every thousand years was about be accesable and only The Avatar hismelf would be able to reach and find it. A plan was then constructed by the four nations to try and reach this gem around the same time as The Avatar itself. By doing so they could intercept it and find out, exactly, which nation had been the ones responsible for the most powerful being in the world going missing. Each nation chose a select few to go on this mission, their best and brightest, and decided to make a tournament out of it. The nation to find The Avatar first proving that they were the finest of all of the bending nations and hopefully ending the war.
The individuals going on the expedition are to find the gem by following leads of any hersay or sightings of The Avatar traveling about, for the jewel would call to it and the entity could not resist trying to retrieve it's property. The gem itself having immense power, it has been said enough to be able to end the battle of four thousand men in a single night. So of course it is no wonder why the many nation's would like to find The Avatar and this gem stone before the others. In the meantime the war will still continue on, but in some palces a stand off has been agreed upon until the mission between the chosen few is over. Of course this will not stop many of the nations from trying to cheat and make sure their chosen ones are the first to reach the tresure and The Avatar.
That's it, the rest of the 4 nation's history is to be written by you...The chosen few. Who are just now arriving at the capitol of the Earth Kingdom, Ba Sing Se, to be debriefed on their mission fully."

The city of Ba Sing Se, the proud stronghold capitol of the Earth Kingdom. Usually meant to keep out the other nations of the world today it welcomed them with open arms on this glorious occasion of teamwork between the Kingdoms. A Temporary cease fire being given by all four groups as so the nation's leaders and they're chosen few could all travel to the Earth Kingdom to see off their champions. As each group of benders and their Queens, Kings, Elders, & Tribesleaders walked through the streets of the titanic city, a triumphant cheer and applauding was given all throught the city by the Earth Kingdom's inhabitants. Each person in the massive crowd that huddled around the parade of participating champions and their leaders hoped that this would finally mean the end of the war and the Return of the Avatar. However, that was all wishful thinking. The multiple groups all heading for the Earth Kingdom Royal Palace as so they could meet up with King Kien and Ambassador Nato, who would dibrief them, as well as their chosen competitors on the long journey that lay ahead of them.
The first to arrive being the Fire Nation. As they walked the streets of Ba Sing Se they would do so with many soldiers following after them in formation with the lead soldier being General Zarkov. Showing the distrust and the power of the Fire Nation just in case this was all a coo or set up against them. At the front of the pack was Fire Lord Zaito and by his side was his brother Prince Hikoutei who understandably volounteered for this asignment. On his other side his son, who unknowingly was being hatefully eyeballed by a figure in the crowd. Unable to act now due to the many soldiers that accompanied them. Behind them were various other firebenders as well. One being Saika, who wasn't originally supposed to be going on this expedition, but defeated his guardian in an Agni Ki for the right. His demeanor standing out admist the rest of the Fire Nation's people.
Next to enter were the Air Nomads, who had traveled a loong way to arrive here via Flying Sky Bison. As it would turn out the Sky Bison weren't extinct afterall, Appa and Avatar Aang had found a hidden colony that still lived high up in the ice cold mountains beyond the rigid cliffs where most things couldn't survive in the deathening drop in both temperature and height. Nonetheless the council of Elders would all walk amsongst the people of the city waving as they received cheer upon arrival. No force of men following after them for they trusted their would be no acts against their lives this day and wanted to show faith. A few of their pupils did come with them, however, one being Aria who looked about with a smile on her face as she realzied that some of this praise was for her as well.
The final group to arrive being the people of the Water Tribes. Queen Naiobri and her daughter would walk in the middle of the pack. As water tribe soldiers surrounded them mixed with a few of their chosen benders, thus showing a unity with their people. One of them beind Nodd, the other and probably the loudest cheered for of anyone who entered through the great gates was Sato. Out of all the Kingdoms, the Earth Kingdom was pobably the closest to a truce with the water tribesmen. Mainly because Air Nomads were their polar opposite and the Fire Nation was still disliked by most of the Earth Kingdom's people for enslaving their grandfathers and great grandfathers. Some of them even booing upon the Fire Lord's arrival. But Sato, he was the son of Avatar Korra and deserved all the cheers he received just for his family namesake alone.
A the groups approached the front of the Royal Palace they were graciously greated and checked by Amabassador Nato and the Dai Li. Each of them inspecting their guest for firebombs, newly made weaponry by the water tribes called Ice Shrapnel Grenades, and for the monk's poison Long-Range blow darts. After the check was complete the Earth King and the other Leaders would all step forward and bow to one another. While Princes Isis had to do the same to the the same to the 60 plus followers. All at once the group bowing back to her as she looked over them all with a rather blatant scowl on her face. She trusted no kingdoms residents until she found which of them had been responsible for the attempt on her father's life and taking her mother from this world.
"Thank you all for coming, now I would like to invite the leaders and their chosen champions into the war room chambers where we can discuss the details of this ground breaking competition."
That statement meaning to please leave you militia outide and come inside with as few as possible. Even some of the Air Nomads council stayed back as only Four of the most senior members entered with the few monks they had chosen. General Zarkov had to remain, as well as the Queens daughter, while Sato his group and Nodd with a few others followed behind the Queen. Queen Isis and the other chosen Earthbenders and other wise warriors would enter the palace last. Leaving all the other soldiers and others to idlely wait outide the palace giving one another dirty glares and stares in the meantime as the soldiers looked as if they wanted to slit eachother's throats.
Once inside the War Room the other nations and their leaders would feast their eyes upon a large map of the world and many pinned points among it that had an unexplained meaning up until now. Ambassador Nato speaking up as he adressed the large groups who took their seats at each side of the squared table with their people standing huddled around their leaders obviosuly. As Nato spoke he would use a long yard stick to point at each point of interest and then gave a large emphasis on anything involving the Avatar or his jewel.
"Well lets get right down to it. I am Ambassador Nato and it came to my attention one day while looking over things with a scribe that the fabled legendary, Jewel of Seasons, is to once again reveal itself to the Avatar after a thosuand years of rest. Many have said this artifact to be jsut a legend for it is suppsoed to increase the Avatar's power to levels of god like ability. The fabled first time it was ever used to it's full potential the Avatar of that period created small continents or land masses; by breaking island size chunks of Earth from the mainland and then using the wind and water from the ocean to move them across the sea. Afterwards utilizing the lightning in the thunderclouds above to cause rain to come down and vegetate the area until they became fruitful and rich in sustanance. At least that's how the story goes....
The ring itself is made from holy and purified substances symboling each element; a pebble, a bit of water, an ash ember, and a piece of a cloud all from the spirit realm, all meshed together in one sacred ring. It's anything had that much power there's no wonder the Avatar's would've thought to lock it away for a millenia. Um, anyway we have no clue as to it's whereabouts. Although, we do think that since it's fortelling of revealing itelf again. It is calling to the Avatar. Many more sightings and stories have been told of a child that had control over more than on element all over the four nations. It would appear the Avatar is looking to master the four elements and has been finding teachers to do so. Although this to cannot be confirmed, we have heard intel that he received training in Firebending from a Maser in Fire Fountain City. As well as a Waterbending Sensei around Chameleon Bay. It's been told that he gained knowledge over Airbanding near the Eastern Air Temple as well."
"Well, what about Earth? Are we to assume the Avatar hasn't gained mastery over that element yet?"
"That or maybe he never left the Earth Kingdom in the first place and has already gained his teachings in the element."
"How dare you say such a thing in our hou---"
"Isis! Calm yourself. And no Zaito, we have heard nothing of him or her receiving any teachings in the Earth Kingdom or we would've made it our top priority to retrieve the Avatar. We wanted to travel to these areas as soon as we heard the Avatar might be there. But of course, in times of war it is not wise to send our men into enemy territory without permission and I doubt any of you would've been so willing to have my men around based off rumors."
After Queen Naiobri interupted Nato and spoke of if the Avatar had already mastered Earthbending or not as well, Fire Lord Zaito chimmed in, his arrogance being felt as he spoke of the Earth King attempting to fool everyone with this war. Saying this was really all just an attempt to retrieve the Jewel of Seasons. Princess Isis immediately speaking up for her father with anger in her voice as she sought to shoot down the accusations from the Fire Lord, but was immediately quieted. Not wanting her to receive the same fate as the past Fire Lord Zuko for speaking out of turn.
"You should tell your kin to watch her flippant tongue Kien. Were we in my nation I would have---"
"But, were NOT in your nation, are we Zaito? Now if you would please let the Ambassador finish what he has to say we can get this over with."
In all honesty King Kien suspected Zaito the most out of everyone here for the attempt on his life nearly a year or so ago. He was ruthless enough to pull such a stunt, but of course the King couldn't be sure so he kept this thought to himself and instead yearned for the moment that he wouldn't have to look at the Fire Lord's smug face anymore.
"So um, err yes, as I was saying. Other than receiving teachings in those locations we also believe that the Avatar is searching for his possession. As I said it calls to him or her. Others have cited seeing the same description of a child with the abilty to use all the elements at both Water Tribes, the great city of Omashu, the Gates of Azulon, Ember Island, the Southern and Eastern Air Temples, the Great Divide, Full Moon Bay & the Swamp lands."
"So the new Avatar's been virutally everywhere?"
"You can't possibly expect us to believe a child was actually able to visit all these places around the globe?"
"Well, it's all just talk really? We can't be sure that any of it is true or if the Jewel of Seasons is even real, but---"
"But what!? Come now, this is so ridiculous. If the Avatar had come to the Gates of Azulon I am very certain I would've been notified."
"Ah, but you forget Zaito, the lands of the Fire Nation have been infiltrated by the Avatar once before. Should I recite the tale where ancestor Aang and Katara voyaged into the..."
"No Monk, I am well informed of the Fire Nation's past history. It's just I think this all a cheap ploy to get a cease fire so that the King and his feeble forces can strengthen his weakening defenses."
"If you knew anything about my people Zaito, you would know that our resolve never fades. Like the boulder, we are steady and strong."
"That doesn't even make since you fool, Rocks Erode over time!"
"Zaito, Kien, that's enough...This isn't about us or the 4 nations right now. It's about finding the Avatar..."
"If he or she hasn't been trained correctly, enters the Avatar state, and is killed while doing so. We could lose the entity forever. Now settle your petty squabbling on the battlefield for now we must send the chosen ones off to find our great savior."
After Nato finished speaking, he would be adressed by Sato that the Avatar seemed to have been all over the place. Monk Shozin confirming that he found the idea of a child traveling that much prepostorous without being captured or found by now. At the same the Fire Lord once again speaking out that he thought this was all a battle strategy by King Kien, who this time spoke up for hismelf as well as being reminded by Monk Tai that Avatar Aang once did this same excact feat. Given he had a very good mode of transportaion to do so. As the two Kingdom leaders argued they were quickly subdued by Queen Naiobri and Monk Chout'zu. Everyone in the room would then get deathly quiet as they waited for someone to speak up and say what needed to be said, but of course no one really wanted to give this news to a bunch of children, their closest friends, and best benders in tall their cities. So Monk Mon'tu would step up for everyone and give the final words to the chosen few before letting the champions exit the palace immediately following the last word of his speech. It was a race after all and with each passing moment one of the other nations could be closer and closer to retrieving the Avatar and the ultimate weapon of power...
"There you have it, you have all been debriefed on the matter, but be warned this epic adventure is not for the faint of heart. Some of you will not live through this and some of you will experience hard ships that the others in this room cannot even begin to fathom. You will battle, you will be humbled, and in the end hopefully this war will come to an end and the Avatar will return to us. All that really can be said for certain is that you are all the best, brightest, and most equipped to handle such a task. If you get lost while on the path look to the spirits for guidance, may the Avatar and our ancestors watch over you as you go."

This was it, the famous Ba Sing Se. The Earth Kingdom capital city. Now seen in the middle ring of the city was Shinji. He was walking through the streets when he just happened to glance inside a random house as he was walking past and that's when he saw him. On the TV he noticed one of the guards who had attacked him and kidnapped him on that day where he was kicked out of his home nation. He knew what he was going to do now, he ran through the city hopping up onto a house and making his way across the rooftops of Ba Sing Se and towards the Palace.
He then got to the upper ring of the city, this was where the rich and powerful of the city live. The lifestyle was different to the other parts of the city, here all the houses where pretty big. The only thing Shinji could compare this to was the Fire Nation capital city. As he made his way across more rooftops in the city there were a few people who had noticed and started yelling at him but he didn't really care, his attention was more focused on the guard who was with the Fire Lord. As he got as close to the palace as possible Shinji waited down a near by alley, he knew the Fire Lord would be leaving soon. After about 15 minutes of waiting he saw that the Fire Lord was leaving so his guards would be behind him, luckily for Shinji the guard he was after was at the back of the crowd. As the rest of the group pass Shinji runs out and tackles the guard to the ground. "You! You ruined my life and for that I'm going to ruin yours!" The guard then kicked him off and got himself into a battle stance and Shinji just looked at him with a smile on his face. "I challenge you to an Agni Kai?" The guard nodded as they got ready to fight

Saika was enjoying himself so far, all this was interesting and new to him, at least that was until he started hearing the squabbling between the different leaders. That really put a damper on things especially because it was just an immature contest of wills. One that met no real end other than to possibly achieve all out war in the middle of the earth kingdoms greatest city. Which, assessing his options, Saika did not like the prospect of having to fight his way out of the throne room. No, he would flee if he had to, flee and blend in as best he could despite his rather distinct hair color, and slip out of the city.
Thankfully however, such thoughts were banished from his mind as it became readily apparent to him that the water nation leaders and air benders did not want to have to fight, at least not here anyway. That Saika could easily enough tell despite his leaders obvious attempt to try and egg the Earth king into combat.
However, when the air nomad leader spoke, he found himself actually giggling at the words the air nomad spoke, he just couldn't help it. He knew his people liked to fly solo, but this endeavor as best he could tell was for them to split up into their own individual countries? Oh, that was just too hilarious, mostly because it just made no sense to do. As best he could tell, no one here trusted one another to be straight forward about anything concerning the avatar, so this split allowed for an egregious lack of over sight. No, if they wanted to do this right they were going to have to do this differently.
Holding up his hand like a student at class, Saika stepped forward from the ranks of the fire benders present. "Pardon me, please forgive my intrusion, and rudeness. I know I am but insignificant before you all, but I humbly beg for the ability to speak." Saika said, lowering his hand as he spoke, relegating himself to a bow on his hands and knees, after all, he was in the presence of the fire lord, such action he knew despite the tremendous amount of effort it took for him to actually give the proper respects, were appropriate. Anything less, and he was certain that his intrusion would probably be seen as a severe disrespect and met by Agni Kai from the Fire Lord himself.

The people of Ba Sing Se were happy today as soldiers walked through the streets. They were rejoicing, actually, even as forces of the Fire Nation walked through it, and even in formation at that. Hikoutei had seriously advised Zaito against it, but as always, he insisted. As if it wasn't worse enough already, Zarkov was being a paranoid little child as well. Hikoutei thought this didn't very well represent the Fire Nation; it showed them to be paranoid and filled with fear. Hikoutei was walking at the right side of Zaito, while another young man was walking at his left; his brother's son and Hikoutei's nephew. He smiled, as he kept walking forward. The Earth Kingdom was certainly interesting; beautiful even. Zaito, Hikoutei, and Hikoutei's nephew were the only ones not in military address, and Hikoutei was glad he wasn't having to flaunt himself as a soldier. Hikoutei also noted a person who had gained a little notoriety in the Fire Nation behind them; Saika, who had came into the care of General Zhandao, his uncle, who was to be accompanying them on this trip, but had recently sent Saika in his place. Reports spoke of Agni Ki, which Hikoutei found particularly interesting, since Zhandao was a prodigy where they came from. He merely cast Saika a glance in all that thought before looking forward once more.
It wasn't long before the platoon reached the point where all the nation's representatives were supposed to converge. He saw Princess Isis, King Kien, and Ambassador Nato of the Earth Kingdom, Queen Naiobri, Princess Yien, and Tribe Leader Sato of the Water Tribes, and finally the Council of Elders of the Air Nomads. They bowed, and so Hikoutei bowed, along with his brother and nephew, to them in return. As they were searched for any weapons by Ambassador Nato, Hikoutei offered forward his two blades, which were sheathed and wrapped in cloth so as not to present any hostility.
Good to meet you in person, Ambassador Nato. I apologize; I carry these things everywhere. He offered a gentle smile as he looked back up again, and saw Princess Isis scowling at the entire crowd. He found that interesting, but didn't worry too much about it, as he proceeded to the War Room in response to Isis' beckon. Hikoutei, if his weapons weren't confiscated, would carry them with him into the War Room. As they entered, however, Hikoutei thought of something, turning to Saika. Saika, come with Zaito and I. Be sure not to speak unless spoken to. When he turned back around, he would no doubt have Zaito looking at him curiously. Speaking softly so no one but Zaito heard, Hikoutei said, Not every day a prodigy is beaten unless it's by another prodigy.
When he entered the War Room, of course the first thing Hikoutei looked at would be the giant table with a giant map of the world on it. He noted how greatly it was made before sitting at the right side of his brother. Hikoutei noticed markings on the map that were strikingly different from any war markings he knew of. Ambassador Nato addressed them himself, introducing himself and getting straight to the point. He spoke that this millennia, the current Avatar was supposed to be reunited with the Jewel of Seasons, and that he came across this fact recently, and that was what they were all here to discuss. He said the last time the Jewel of Seasons was brought to the Avatar, that he or she had god-like abilities, and made continents with it. Or, at least, as far as the story went. He then said that he or she had been in every nation, and learned each element except earth...according to rumor.
When asked about the earth element, Zaito popped in and accused the Earth Kingdom right off of having the Avatar, and hiding him or her. Hikoutei gave him a slight nudge, astonished he would accuse them of that, but it was too late. Sparks collided. Isis jumped up to defend the Earth Kingdom, but Kien quickly interceded, saying any information they received, they would have acted on. They hadn't chased after the Avatar because they were at war, and didn't think other nations would respond kindly if they sent troops beyond enemy lines. When Zaito gave his response to the King, Hikoutei was again astonished at his brother's anger. He wasn't usually like this. However, there had been of course a war going on, and he could understand that tensions were high. But that didn't change the fact that both of the princesses in the room were totally hot. Kien asked for Nato to continue, and he did so.
He listed the other locations the Avatar had been said to be seen at, and Sato commented on it. One of the Council of Elders questioned whether a child would be able to do such things, but again, Zaito cut in, saying he would have been notified if the Avatar had shown up at the Gates of Azulon. Another monk reminded Zaito that it had been done once before by Aang. Zaito again interrupted, accusing Kien of just calling the meeting because his forces were running low. Kien responded to Zaito, saying the Earth Kingdom's will was ever strong, and Zaito cut down his metaphor by saying stones eroded. Hikoutei sighed as the bickering continued, and was happy that the Queen interrupted them, saying they had more important things to worry about. If the Avatar were to lose control and die, the Avatar may disappear forever. Another monk threw some words in after some silence, and Saika asked permission to speak. Hikoutei shot a glance at him, and then leaned over to Zaito, whispering Prodigy. into his ear, in an effort to make him calm down, before speaking up.
I would just like to bring one thing to note. Every person who is a bender is born with a certain element, even the Avatar. To bend in the other elements, he or she has to go learn from a teacher, which, according to your information, the Avatar has done for every element except that of earth. I'm not going to point fingers here; I prefer fact over suspicion. But if the Avatar went to a teacher for all of those elements, the most logical deduction would be that he or she was born an earthbender, and therefore in the Earth Kingdom. That also means he or she has probably already mastered all of the elements, and therefore, the only thing left is the stone. So it would be helpful if you know any child that went missing in the Earth Kingdom recently. That is all I have to say.
He fell silent, waiting for anybody's opinion on his first words in the meeting, though he was a prince of the Fire Nation as well.
OOC: Damn you guys. Making me jump on the Center bandwagon!

OT: I forgot to mention you guys could control the NPC's for your post. I have no need to be the Fire Lord as you already have the jist of everyone's personalities.
As Sakia spoke up out of turn the Fire Lord was rather embarrased. Where he had just told the Earth King to silence his youngling one of the soldiers, not even a kin to him, but a virtual nobody out of military role had decided to speak out of turn in a room where only the leaders were suppsoed to open their mouths. Even Prince's were hushed in such a setting and they were of royalty. However, before Zaito could raise his harsh reprimanding at the boy his brother would attempt to calm him. Reminding Zaito that this is one of the chosen ones and a special Firebender meant to bring honor to the Fire Nation. So for now Zaito sat quietly while his brother spoke up instead. His inquiry again angering Princess Isis just as the Fire Lord's had before.
"As weve told you, the Avatar is not in the Earth Kingdom. How do you know that Firebending was not the first element he learned, thus why suspicion wasn't raised in your nation when he gained a teacher? If he had been kidnapped at a young age and raised as a Fire Nation resident it wouldn't be to hard to belive that maybe he learned one of the other elements first. Since he can master all 4, who's to say that the Avatar who was born an Earth Kingdom resident doesn't truely know that he's actually from it?"
"In all my years, must everybody speak out of turn? Is that what this war has brought us to, forsaking the old traditions entirely?"
"Lord Zaito, the champions have as much a right to speak on this matter as we do. For it is their lives they will be sacrificing and putting at risk in search of two prizes that they have no clue how to find or if they even still or if they ever exsisted."
Princess Isis had probably made the most brash and general accusation out of anyone in the room, however, as stated before her feelings were still mixed over the other nations and she didn't put anything past not one of them. Even the seemingly carefree Air Nomads. One of them speaking up as soon as she and Sato finished their piece.
"Well if nothing more is to come of this meeting other than arguments and accusations I think we should call it to and end, but before we all depart I would like to hear what the young Firebender has to say?"
Monk Tai trying to be the voice of reason didn't want tensions to be rasied any higher and it was obvious with the war still fresh on the minds of most that no type of unity was going to be formed on this day. Too many lives had been lost or broken as of late for there to be genuine non-combative talk. Although being a fair man the Monk tried to open the floor for Sakia who obviously had something to say.

Aria smiled with glee as she saw the townspeople of Ba Sing Se cheer them on as each nation passed through towards the Royal Palace. Her eyes shown brightly as she looked around at all the builings and people as she walked behind her elders. Being distracted by all the sights she accidentally bumped into her mentor and elder, who she respected most in this world. Monk Chot'zu glanced back at her with a sturdy look, "s-sorry" she murmured bowing ever so slightly as she continued to follow, grasping her staff tighter in her hands. His glare then turned into a smile. "Just try to stay out of trouble, and do not speak unless spoken to." "I understand." she said smiling slightly back.
As they entered the palace she had no choice but to turn in her staff. She didnt see it as a weapon more like a way of life, so with it being confiscated it felt as if they had taken a part of her freedom. She sat behind her the elders quietly, remembering the orders given to her before they had entered the palace. She tapped her fingers quietly on her lap as the nations argued and discussed over the missing Avatar. She felt the air tense in the room Which made her feel a little uneasy. She sighed in boredom of being stuck in this room when a huge city full of interesting new things and people was just outside these walls.

Mizuki wasn't really interested in the sights of Ba Sing Se. She had been here before, as a bodyguard for a diplomatic mission. That had been just before the war had started; she remembered fighting off several earthbenders in secluded alleys when she had been exploring the city. The atmosphere was far more relaxed today, with cheering and clapping instead of angry shouts and stones. Mizuki was still on her guard, walking beside her aunt Queen Naiobri.
As they entered the war chamber, the girl glanced back at Princess Yien as she handed her water canister to a guard. The Queen's daughter was looking disappointed that she was to be left outside, and threw Mizuki a jealous glare before the latter turned away. The cousins had never been very close, and Mizuki knew that Yien desperately wanted to get out of the city and into the world.
Turning her attention back to the meeting, the waterbender sat quietly with her usual poker face as the nation leaders traded thinly veiled insults and accusations. Politics. It was something the entire Northern Tribe despised, and for once, Mizuki agreed with them. She said nothing, only nodding when Queen Naiobri interjected her pacifist opinion. The girl wasn't interested in this. She only needed the debriefing she already had, not these leaders' petty squabbling. As one of the airbender monks invited the firebender from earlier to speak, though, she perked up in interest. This one looked a little different from the rest and Mizuki found she might actually care what this one had to say.

The guard and Shinji had now found an open spot in the city where they could have their Agni Kai, what they had drawn quite a crowd around them. "So Shinji, are you sure you want me to beat you in front of all these people? You couldn't beat me before so what do you think you can do different this time?" Shinji thought back to the day he was basically thrown out of the Fire Nation. "The difference about then and now is that it is one on one, right here and now it's just me and you. No friends to back you up if, I'm sorry, when you lose." Before the fight Shinji would remember back to the words of his mentor 'The strength in firebending comes from the breath.' Shinji closed his eyes and took a slow, deep breath but the guard saw this as an opening to attack so he stomped his foot on the ground and sent a giant wave of fire towards Shinji who quickly opened his eyes and spun on the spot, surrounding himself with a ball of fire to protect himself from the wave the guard had sent.
The guard would then create a javelin of fire before throwing it at Shinji who rolled out of the way and created a fire whip and wrapped it around the guards feet and then planting him flat on his back by pulling the whip. Shinji then runs over to the downed guard, his hand surrounded with a fireball ready to launch at close range but before he can the guard is back on his feet and fired a stream of fire which he was keeping sustained which caused Shinji to be on the back foot to avoid it, some of the earthbenders who were watching had put earth up in front of the crowd to stop themselves being burnt. Shinji was in a tight spot here and had to think on his feet to get out of it

OOC: Well, honestly, I thought it would be obvious. The Fire Nation has long been a military state, and anyone who spoke out of turn was looked down upon. If you remember, Prince Zuko, who was Fire Lord Ozai's own son, was challenged to an Agni Ki from just speaking out of turn at a war meeting, and scarred for life, physically. Truthfully, I did expect Zotai to be more forgiving, but it was to be expected as well that he wouldn't. Still saved your ass, though. =P
BIC: Isis again got defensive when Hikoutei offered the logical conclusion, saying that the Avatar was not in the Earth Kingdom and that firebending could have been the first element the Avatar learned. She also said the Avatar could be an earthbender who, when kidnapped, could have been raised as another bender. He raised an eyebrow. Isis belonged to the Earth Kingdom, no doubt about it. But she had the inner fire of a firebender.
His brother also got defensive once more, saying she spoke out of turn. Hikoutei closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again to look directly at Isis.
I offer my apologies, Princess Isis. As I said, I am not passing blame onto anyone else. All I am saying is that it would be the most logical conclusion that the Avatar would be an earthbender gathered from the intelligence you have shared with us. We thank you for such information; do not be fooled. I'm sorry you took offense. Whether he or she was kidnapped or not, logically, they would be on their way to or already in the Earth Kingdom. That's the plain truth.
Hikoutei left it at that as one of the Elders spoke up, asking what Saika had to say. Since his brother didn't seem to mind, he turned to Saika.
Yes, Saika, we're interested in what you have to say. You aren't insignificant at all here. You are, after all, one of the chosen, in your uncle's place.
He waited on what the young Saika had to say.

The great city of Ba Sing Se, Kai Li had never seen anything so large before. No city in the world could probably rival this one in size other than the Fire Nation's Capitol from what he's read. Upon arrival on Kaang, who he used to transport his sensi and master, Monk Tai as well as a few pupils. Kai would hop off Kaang and patted him on the nose to show he was greatful for taking them on the journey over here, but now he needed to depart until he called for him. Understanding this without one word even needing to be spoken the sKy-Bison flew off with the rest as the Air Nomads arrived. While walking through the city afterwards Kai wasn't as optimistic as the rest of the other Airbenders. He knew how treacherous people could be and just how sneaky the world was getting as time progressed, still for now everything seemed ok. So he loosened his grip on his staff and put a somewhat half smile on enjoying the parade. While doing so he observed many of the other monks. A good amount of them of them were of the council, who he never had been particulary fond of, because they wanted him to become and elder one day since he was a descendent of the Aang family line. But that wasn't what Kai desired for his life. He wanted to be more modern and explore the world. Others he saw amongst the elders were the choosen ones, such as Aria. They didn't look all that much different from him, but then again none of the Air Nomads looked too much different from one another.
"Sigh..."
Kai couldn't help but wonder if his people were going to be stuck in the old ways forever. As they stopped marching and were approached by the Earth King and his lovely daughter. Ambassador Nato then stripped everyone of their weapons who were going inside and after bowing to their hosts the chosen ones entered the palace. Meanwhile, Kai and a few others were left outside. He wanted nothing more but to be apart of that meeting, but this too was not the path chosen for him it would seem. All in all it was a depressing matter for the Airbender, but Kai refused to let it keep him down. He was in a beautiful city and he was going to go explore it. Breaking away from the rest of the monks and other nation's people he went exploring the city. Traveling through the upper ring. and then as he got bored walking along the streets he made a massive air assisted leap onto the buildings/huts above so he could get a better view.
"Beautiful."
Is all he would say as he looked out, truely, this is what he wanted to do with his life. Go all the palces he had never seen before and marvel at new and exciting things. However, Kai's peace and serenity would be cut off as he heard shouting and sounds of wooshing not too far off in the distance. House hoping over towards where the commotion was coming from to see what's going on, he could see 2 firebenders having at it in a circle that earthbenders had made to contain their fire fight. This act upsetting Kai very much, this was nor the time or the place for such actions. Today was a day of unity and prosperity among nations, a time for triumph, and these two were dragging everyone down with their petty spat. What if Earth Kingdom officials got invovled? A fight could break out and a riot could be started right here in the Earth Kingdom cutting any chances for peace off, maybe for good. Kai Li could not let this happen and decided he had to act, even though he knew from combat that disturbing an Agni Ki was extremely frowned upon. Still he felt he must do something before this dog-fight got out of hand. Jumping into the air from a rooftop while twirling his staff above his head like a helicopter, he touched down on the ground in a knelt position. As he slammed his staff down onto the stone flooring it caused the air current he was forming while spinning it to spread out in an invisible dome, seperating the two firebenders and blowing back the crowd a bit. Afterwards Kai stood up tall and looked at the 2 seriosuly before speaking.
"Enough, stop this Agni Ki right now!? You dishonor your own people by not showing proper Fire Nation behaviour at an historic event."

This was the first time Nodd had ever been the the grand city of Ba Sing Se. Although it was very glorious and beautiful, that's not what Nodd was thinking about at all. As he marched along with the other Waterbenders, he seemed blend in perfectly. No one could have guessed that he was one of the chosen people from the Northern Water Tribe to go on this perilous journey, but, Nodd was indeed well qualified for this mission. Amazing water bending skills for his age, skills with all types of weaponry and an inventive mind. The most important thing that solidified his position here was that, he would never stop until he found the Avatar. He had experienced what the nations were like without the Avatar first hand...
Nodd strode into the gates and up to the entrance to their debriefing on his built Buffalo-Yak, Trump. As his leaders entered the room, he gave Trump a stern nod goodbye. He was really his only family all the way out here in this foreign land. As he entered the war room, some seemed surprised and questioned his need to enter and his legitimacy, but, he did not listen...it really didn't matter.
The debriefing didn't tell them much besides the possible locations based off of rumors. The rest of the meeting was like the leaders were diving at each other's throats. It was obvious that they were in a war with each other. The Fire Nation had brought military back up, but, Nodd was impressed that the Fire Lord came himself. He never thought that would happened in past generations. As discussions filled the room, Nodd merely folded his arms and tried to center himself, allowing him to feel the flow of the water in his canister as it flowed back and forth.

OT: Seeing as it's been an entire 2 days now and I rather not have the RPG go inactive just as I make it, well skip over Hell's post and he can roleplay what he has to say to the leaders and their responses in the same post himself.
After Sakia made his opinion known and responses were given it was decided that it was time to go. Thus ending the meeting with a bow from all four kingdoms to one another. The Earth King definitely had felt that the Fire Nation has overstayed their welcome and the Air Nomad's were eager to rid themselves of such a negative atmosphere, where as the water tribe leaders seemed to be more focused on the task at hand and were more so worried about their chosen ones. Everyone exiting the Palace now where their militia or pupils were waiting for them. Upon leaving each nation's leaders would give a few more choice words to their chosen ones, of course while their people were given back their confiscated items. Readying for departure now, the chosen ones would not be returning home with their nations and/or Lords, Elders, & Queens. This was the final goodbye before embarking on their journey. The same going for a King as he bid his only daughter fairwell.
"Remember Isis, an Earthbender's greatest strength is their stance. You must be unbreakble in your will and determination---"
"Yes, yes, father I know...Don't worry. I'll be fine."
"I just don't want to lose you as well. You've only been Earthbending for a little less than a month and skilled you may be, but I still don't feel you have the experience for this task. There is still a chance to take a guide or to have another one of our finest benders take your place."
"No father, I can do this. I want to do this. I want to return the Avatar to his true home. All the experience I'll need, I'll gain along the way."
"....Ok, but promsie me you'll be careful and whatever you do, stay away from the other nations or their benders as much as possible; especially the Fire Nation's. I, like you, do not trust Zaito or any one he fancys."
"I will try, now I'm sorry father but I must go before the sun sets. I will return triumphant just wait and see daddy. I will make the Earth Kingdom whole once again and our people proud."
That being said, Isis hugged her father one last time and kissed him on the cheek before embarking on her journey. Heading for the great gates out of the city so she could finally make her mark on the world and prove her worth. Little did she know her father could possibly never be more proud of her than this moment. A tear trickling down his face as he watched her walk off into the world truly alone for the first time.
"I hope so, for I will never be whole again until you return to me daughter. Ichiroheian O Inoru" - I wish you a smooth road

Aria grabbed and bowed at the guard as her glider was handed back to her. She thought of the journey ahead of her, the search of the avatar. Was she up for the task? To tell the truth she was scared and uncertain of what was ahead. She walked grasping her staff tightly in both hands. Aria took a deep breath and was about to head towards the gate to her flying bison when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see her master Monk Chot'zu.
