Jumpmania (Kyte)

Kawari's attakcs were working, which was usually a bad sign when he was going through sequence. He found his elbow blocked and grabbed, and he scoffed in a classic shonen "Tch!" He looked back and and then to Thunder Emperor, seeing where he was being thrown. As he was thrown into the ropes, he bent his legs, and used them to spring off of it even faster and harder than he had been thrown. And as if perfectly synchronized with Simon, Simon came in and kicked Thunder Emperor off balance so he wouldn't be able to time his counterattack right.

Kawari came flying in the instant after, executing a Muay Thai cobra punch right into Thunder Emperor's nose, and as he touched down, he punched straight into the armpit at one of Thunder Emperor's joints. He hoped to dislocate the arm, or at least make it much too panful to use too quickly if the fight wore on. And then would strike his elbow across his jaw. "Aki, kuso! (Fall, damn you!)"

As Thunder Emperor tossed Kawari into the ropes he saw that the martial artist was prepared for this and used the momentum of getting bounced off the ropes to his advantage, preparing to attack the wrestler with even greater momentum than usual. This was fine by Thunder Emperor, it just meant that when Kawari got taken off guard by the muscular man's counter attack he would get hurt even worse. Or at least that was the plan. What happened instead was that at the very last second that tiny green-clad pipsqueek had knocked him on the head, making him flinch just enough for his counter to get thrown off "Aww poop."

An instant later Thunder Emperor took a super powered punch to the nose that blew his head back and caused his eyes to water, blurring his vision and leaving him less able to stop the follow up attack that dislocated his arm "Ahhhhhhh!!!!" He stumbled back a few steps while clutching his injured arm, letting loose a stream of curses at Kawari that would even make a sailor blush, though he was soon silenced by an elbow to the jaw that rattled his skull and dropped him like a sack of bricks. He hit the mat face first with blood streaming from his broken nose, and this time he didn't get up.

Simon watched the scene play out in awe, then turned to Kawari "We did it!" 'We' was a strong word "Up top!" he yelled, holding up his palm for a high five. Even if Kawari had no idea what he was saying he would probably know what the universally recognisable gesture meant.

Kawari breathed in and out lightly. This fight had at least worked up a sweat. Thunder Emperor might be a criminal, but Kawari truly was grateful for the fight. He flicked his hands a bit and then cracked his knuckles, putting his fist into his straightened palm and giving Thunder Emperor a light bow. He would slowly suppress his chakra until the first seal was undone. "Yoku tatakatta. (Well fought.)"

He turned to see Simon addressing him in English again. He should probably learn English someday, but... well, he was doing fine enough for now, right? He saw Simon raise his hand, and Kawari even smirked, returning the high five. He began a few statements in Japanese, realizing Simon wouldn't understand any of them. But after a few moments of thought, he put his thumb pointing into his chest. "Kawari. Yen Kawari."

Simon sighed in relief as Kawari understood his gesture and returned the high five, it would have been lame if they had done all that and hadn't topped it off with a celebratory high five. Kawari then tried to speak to Simon, but soon gave up when he remembered that Simon didn't speak a lick of Japanese. Simon's knowledge of the language mostly consisted of 'Kamehameha' and 'Rasengan'. Kawari instead just pointed to himself and said some words that even Simon was able to guess was his name, Simon smiled and made the same gesture to himself "Simon. Simon Camden."

After the two of them introduced themselves to each other they would notice the ring they were in start to sink into the ground, eventually disappearing altogether. Seems like the ring was tied to Thunder Emperor's power, and now that he was unconscious it just went away "Huh, weird."

Kawari nodded slowly as- he was pretty sure- Simon introduced himself. "Sai-mon. Hai." He nodded again. The vigilantes in this city seemed to get into some pretty entertaining fights. And Simon fought pretty well, even if Kawari got more licks in. He looked around, and he saw a payphone nearby. He pointed at Simon. Then he pointed at the unconscious Thunder Emperor, before making a fist and punching his hand to make a sound. Then he pointed at the payphone.

"Anata no bangō." If Simon didn't seem like he understood, he would look around for any kind of paper and pen, but finding none, he would point to Simon again and then point at the payphone. Maybe less gestures would be more understood.

Simon nodded and gave a thumbs up as Kawari sounded out his name "Yeah! Simon!" he said, encouragingly. Kawari would then make some gestures, pointing at Simon then Thunder Emperor, then punching his hand and finally pointing at a nearby payphone. Simon nodded along to the whole thing before gazing in awe at the payphone "Woah, a payphone! How old school." he said, dimly. Mentioning a type of phone gave the young hero a light bulb moment "Ah! That's right!" he yelled, before floating over to a nearby spectator "Hey, can you call the police? Someone needs to take this guy away!" returning briefly to his Verdant Gale persona.

"Ah..." It seemed like Simon had misunderstood him. But that was Kawari's fault. Maybe it would be beneficial to learn the language of this country. As it was right now, he was just going to have to hope he could catch Simon around in the future. He would bow to Simon in respect, and then give a slight wave, before he headed out. "Ja ne." He would adjust the bandages on his hands and his arms as he walked out, before putting his hood up once more. This was a fun fight. He hoped he got to fight alongside Simon some time else in the future.
