Something Magic's in the Air (St. Jommy) [Sconehenge]

It was a nice and busy day at the Sconehenge. Benefiting from its recent name change from Isabel, the maid cafe was bustling with customers. The Sconehenge was a maid cafe with three separate parts to the building. There was an arcade in a basement floor away from customer view, aside from a stairway and elevator leading down to it with a clear sign indicating its existence. It was of course filled with arcade boxes with current games, classics, and some games that had never even appeared in an arcade box on the planet, though was premiered on popular gaming consoles or computers. There was a bar area that was more homey and removed from the main cafe area, separated by a curtain-like wall with a decently sized entrance. There was a more calm energy to the place, and there was a long bar, with other tables and seating around the area besides. And then, the main area, the cafe, was fitted with booth tables and round tables in the center areas that were shaped like Pac Mans and Ms. Pac Mans.

Cain sat in the main cafe area behind the counter, smiling lightly as she read her book calmly. She was dressed in clothing appropriate for the coming cold weather, a large sweater that hugged her hips. She had taken it easy with her hair today, and was wearing leggings with a skirt.

She had three bodies on duty, a platinum blonde with a stern face roaming, a kind face with brown hair keeping the bar, and an easygoing woman with white hair roaming the arcade to make sure everything was working properly.

Her helpers from beyond the grave were nice to have, and it was wonderful that they agreed to help her run the place until she actually got applicants for employees, but she did wish that she could hire some living, breathing people soon instead of people that could not communicate with the general populace and were little more than living will. But they kept the place together, along with the rules made with her Order magic.

Upon entering a 15 yard radius of the Sconehenge, one would be prompted with a display to agree or disagree to the terms of service. The terms of service are as follows.

1. Occupants are not allowed to inflict harm of any sort upon other occupants. Any attacks will be negated against the victim and instead turned upon the attacker with an equivalent force stopping short of anything lethal. Attacks made against occupants of Sconehenge from outside of its walls by anyone who has not accepted the terms and conditions will be considered in that moment to be accepting them.
2. Occupants will have their currencies counted and then the amount of money in USD they have will be displayed to them, and only them. When purchasing an item or service in the Sconehenge, the proper amount of USD will be allocated from the occupant automatically.
3. Violating these terms and conditions, or any other unseemly behavior that endangers, harasses, or disturbs other occupants will be at owner's discretion to be removed from the premises via teleportation.

Evie sat outside the bar she had no interest going into. She sat against the brick wall across the street, one of her throwing knives twirling between her small, bony fingers. Her grey eyes scattered, looking for enemies all around her. She kept her eye on the entrance waiting to see if the man she was looking for was going to come in... or out...
The silver knife stayed twirling around her stiff fingers, as her focus fell away from her. She dropped her knife, but as it fell she caught it again and began twirling it faster between her fingers.
She sighed, knowing her work could get boring when nothing was happening. She had a tendency to lose focus when her work caused her to become bored. She was an assassin she was suppose to be killing people, not looking for someone who might not show up.

To make matters worse, Evie saw the sign posted just a few feet in front of her "Occupants are not allowed to inflict harm of any sort upon other occupants. Evie quickly brought herself back together and then stared intently at the door awaiting for her guest to leave... or arrive, or show up at all. She stayed hidden in the darkness of the shadows of the building, her dark cloak covering her face and keeping her as inconspicuous as possible. She continued twirling the knife in her finger elegantly, a half smile flourished across her ruby red lips.

Prospero was confused by his Grandfather's request for him to go down to Sconehenge. The young magician didn't even like coffee, but if gramps wanted him to go, he had to have his reasons. As Prospero approached the shop, a notification appeared in his face, this was some powerful magic indeed. He'd approach the counter once in, "Hey, I'm looking for a Seras Arcadia, I'm told she's expecting me. Elliot Ambrosius."

Cain blinked, looking up from her book with a kind smile when a customer entered the cafe. Upon seeing who it was however, Cain sprung to her feet with an even wider smile. He mentioned that she would be expecting him. "You found me! It's wonderful to meet you, cousin. Would you prefer Prospero? Or would you rather I shorten your name to El as most do?" She smiled gently. She wasn't particularly fond of expressing her knowledge like this, but since this was family, she felt alright teasing them.

The platinum blonde roaming (We'll call her Annie [Suck it, Mega]) would come on over with a fresh cup of Earl Grey tea for Elliot, holding a small platter with which she would offer cream and sugar with a spoon to him to add to his tea if he felt like it. "This one is on the house," she said, her Scottish accent seeping through. "I know you don't like coffee, so I'm hoping this will be acceptable?" There were also slivers of lemon and other accents as such if he wanted them.

As Evie focused on the entrance to the coffee shop, her heart began beating faster. She watched as the teenager, a year older than her, and very similar looking to her own appearance entered the door. Evie’s shock had caused her to drop the knife she was twirling beneath her fingers.
She breathed heavy, before she knew it she was walking swiftly towards the shop leaving her throwing knife on the dirt covered ground. Within seconds she had entered and stared at the teenager sitting next to a green haired figure at the coffee bar. She couldn’t quite recall, but the green haired figure had a sense of familiarity to them as well.
She stayed against the wall, her cloak still framing her face making it hard to see who she was in the open area. She let her hands guide her around the room, as they stayed against the wall.
She shook her head, not believing who she was staring at. It was her brother... Elliot...
Evie had to assume she might run into him or Grandfather while being In Jump City. But she was hoping that she wouldn’t, Jump City was big enough so she wouldn’t... she couldn’t... she did.

Without realizing, Evie ran into a chair, that hit against one of the tables, knocking two chairs to the floor making the nosiest entrance she had ever made in 11 years. Evie’s grey eyes almost popped out of her head as she began scanning the room at the eyes who stared at her complete clumsiness.

Elliot would stare at Cain, very confused as the woman called him cousin, "Uh... El..." His mind would be SPINNING, who was this woman, is she really his cousin? He'd be pondering this as a woman walked up with tea, "Thanks... So, I'm sorry but who-"

CRASH!! Elliot would turn and look at the source of the noise, and kinda froze. She looked like, but no. She was dead. It was impossible. HE'd clear his throat and try to go back to talking to Cain, but kept and eye on the girl, he might be paranoid, but something told him who it was. "Who... Who are you?" He didn't care about the answer anymore.

Cain beamed at Elliot, taking his hand and giving it a friendly shake as he seemed dazed and confused. As he asked the question in his head, Cain smiled gently and nodded. "Yes, I am really your cousin. Seras Cain Alabaster. I'm on the other side of your family." She turned to Evie as she stumbled in. "Watch your step Evie! Are you alright? I'll pull up a chair for you." She merely waved a finger and the chairs would right themselves, before another chair would slide across the floor behind Evie to gently seat her in it and then carry her to the bar. But of course she could just...not do that, if she was aware enough to decide she didn't want to.

She smiled lightly to them both. "I haven't had a family reunion for quite a long while. El, Evie. You can call me Seras or Cain, whichever you prefer." She blinked and looked between the two of them. "I'm missing some context here...so why don't you two think about what you're thinking about?" She smiled gently. Annie would return with more tea for Evie, offering any accents they needed for the tea once more.

Evie flopped into the chair behind her and let it guide her over to the two people at the coffee bar. Evie barely had time to register what had just happened before Elliot asked her a question. Evie then barely had time to respond before ...Cain...? Had asked her questions.
Evie stares for a moment, trying to take in all that had happened within the last few seconds. Never before had Evie ever been caught this off guard, never before had she been so... ungraceful, she was Evie Ambrosius, assassin god da*n it, she shouldn’t be acting like this.

Her grey eyes were wide as they were shocked at the entire situation. She tried to calm herself by getting familiar with her surroundings. She examined Cain’s long green hair, finding the color pretty, although she wouldn’t say it outloud. She then examined her brother, who looked very fragile and weak, almost how she used to look before she had gotten trained and gained the muscle she had now. She was still pretty little, but Elliot looked... sickly.

Evie attempted to speak, she awkwardly pointed at the door trying to make words ”I... um... the table...and I shouldn’t...” Evie put her hands down and stopped talking. Smooth Evie...smooth...

Evie bit her lip for a second and looked away from the two, she couldn’t believe herself. She was NERVOUS. Evie struggled to collect her thoughts, when she looked up her eyes flashed.

Quickly she stood up, the chair behind her slamming to the floor and she stood face to face with Cain. She had slid two throwing knives out of her sleeves and stared intently at Cain, Evie was feeling a bit herself again.
“What I really should be asking is who the hell are you? And how the hell do do you know who I am?” Evie lost eye contact and looked over at her brother for a moment, and then back to Cain ”I am especially curious because of the...” Evie cleared her throat, loosing herself again for a moment as she gazed at Elliot once again, then back to Cain ”circumstances”.She still stared at Cain intensely, knives still gripped in her hands, but anyone could tell she was off her game.
