How to hit like a man (open)

Crystal wondered around a store at the mall happily and per usual she took the food items that she wanted up to the counter. She couldn't tell what he said but the old man behind the counter said something nice to her making her smile. He rang up the total amount and before she could pull out her money she was shoved to the ground hard.

She fell on her butt and winced before looking up and going wide eyed at the sight of a shotgun's barrel being aimed at her face and several other men by the entrance with similar weapons. She didn't really know what the weapons were but she knew that they must be dangerous if he was aiming it at her. The man smirked and was about to fire at her when the old man shouted something that seemed to make the man with the gun upset.

The man then grabbed the collar of the old man's shirt and yanked his chest down and onto the counter and pressed the barrel of the gun to the man's head. Crystal clenched the floor with her hands as her heart raced and her body trembled in fear. This was the dangers that Toji Okami Crytal had been talking about.... and that man was in danger! With that thought Crystal unknowingly activated her powers and a few moments later 3 crystal spikes shot up from the ground and threw the mans arm and gun into the air as he pulled the trigger.

The Crystal spikes stuck into the ceiling as the guns' bullets hit the wall behind the man. The man held his gashed arm and glared at Crystal and growled out something to her. He walked over as one of his teem mates handed them their pistol. He then Walked over to her as she as trying to process what was happening what the rush she was feeling was.

He grabbed her and lifted her up into the air by the neck making her wince and clench her teeth. He shouted at her as he aimed the gun at her. She knew that the gun could hurt her so sh grabbed it and yanked it. Due to the surprise she managed to yank it from his hands but he fired it and it just barely grased her cheek as it hit into the ceiling.

She then tossed it behind her as he punched her across the face and threw her to the ground. She started to feel something she hadn't felt before.... she felt a burning pressure build in her chest. It made her narrow her eyes and her teeth clench as her body tensed. She slowly go up and he kicked her in the stomach. She though Fell to the ground and just got up again. She looked to her hands before looking back at him.

The memories of the man who was hitting the woman and the man hitting her across the face all flashed though her mind. She then balled her hands into fists like they had and ran at the man and lept up at him and gave him a pretty nasty right hook that all her weight was thrown into. She then fell on him as he stumbled back.

She sat on him and rose her fist to hit him again but froze as she felt a barrel of a gun pressed against her head. The man kept repeating the same thing. Like it was orders that if she didn't follow he'd fire or something but she didn't know what they were so she just stayed in the same pose unsure of what to do. All she knew was with the hit she sent at the man... the pressure and flames in her chest felt better so maybe that's what she had to do in the future when she felt that.... she should just hit something.... or someone.

The room changed it's lighting suddenly and she could hear a crash unless she was deaf. The men by the door suddenly turned to look at what had happened. One of the grocery shelves had flown through the air slamming against the man behind her. Hooves tapped the floor loudly as Tiberius stepped around the corner. He'd been working on changing from his invisible form in hiding since he saw the guns.

Now as the tank like beast stepped into view their pistols were suddenly little more than pea shooters in comparison to the massive cannon of bone that was attached to two of his arms. The other two were holding a sword and a whip made up of numerous tenrils ending in razor tipped hooks. The creature spoke eirily similar to the other humans it's teeth dripping with a black venom.

The massive monster continued stepping toward the group of gunmen stepping between crystal and them shielding her with its massive armored body. The way it spoke it was clearly issuing a challenge to them, whether a bluff or not was hard to tell.

She blinked as she heard the crash and saw the lights change but she slowly looked over to see the man who had been holding the gun to her head now under a shelf. She head the hooves and looked to the sound to see the creature emerge. She blinked ad tilted her head to one side curiously as she lowered her fist. The man she was under pushed her off and rushed over to his allies but froze when he noticed the creature.

She glared at the man before the creature came between her and them protectively. Unlike the men Crystal didn't really know enough about monsters or weapons or really anything to know to be scared of what she saw before her. To her all she saw was someone who looked different from everyone else protecting and saving her from the men. The men seemed to be terrified as she quickly backed up and attempted to all run away. If they managed to get away Crystal would slowly get up as the owner of the store cowered in fear of the creature.

She looked up to him being the size of a child in comparison to him and slowly started to smile a rather innocent smile and a happy one. She wasn't sure how to say thank you to him but if she was correct in what she had learned so far then what she was about to do was the right thing. She would then attempt to walk up to him without a second though and would go right into a hug with her happy and innocent smile firmly on her face still.

Tiberius saw them flee and fired his cannon after them a needle sized piece of bone hitting on of them in the calf. He hissed when they were gone and would glance back at the girl. She was walking toward him his tendrils reacted suddenly coiling around her like constrictor snakes and holding her in place. The monster leaned toward her hissing slightly and speaking, he lacked lips so it would be impossible to read even for an expert. "Are you a threat?"

He would stare at her for a moment before letting her go and stepping backwards toward the doors. He kept moving backward keeping an eye on her because of the demonstration with the crystals. He didn't want to fight her and as he moved back the tendrils uncoiled.

The one that was hit hollered in pain but his allies helped him run away the rest of the day. Crystal didn't really seem off put by his attack and seemed to not think anything about it as she would attempt to hug him. She jumped when the tendrils wrapped around her and held her in place. She blinked looking at him confused and tilted her head to one side to show him that she was confused as he spoke to her. He seemed based on tone to be asking a question to her which she wasn't sure what it was though she was trying to think of what he could be asking. He then let her go after staring at her.

He moved backwards then as the tendrils uncoiled from her. She blinked but thought a bit more, they had just met so maybe he was asking her name and his wrapping her up was his way of accepting thank yous. She smiled brightly at her thoughts of what he was doing seeing only the best in his intentions thinking that a person who had saved her could only do good. She then cheerfully spoke to introduce herself repeating the lines she learned. "Hello I am Crystal you are!"

All her words but her name had an american accent though when she said her name it sounded like a thick Japanese mixed with a British accent. Her sentence also sounded like she was just resaying a phrase that she had learned from others through their own accents and how they said it. Due to the ending after her name Tib may be able to piece together that she didn't fully understand what she was saying and thought the you are was a part of the introduction.
